Resolving issues with technical support.
After being delayed by rain for several days, I didn’t want to further delay my review of this item. Problem is, I’m currently working with tech support to answer a few of my questions.My initial impressions of the camera itself were good. The camera felt more sturdy then other cameras I’ve reviewed in the same class. It is a slightly larger PT Camera, but it wasn’t obnoxious. It was easy to mount, and came with everything I needed.Perhaps I assumed wrong, but as a NVR/DVR IP camera, I assumed RTSP was an option but I’m unable to find any of the settings in the Android App or the Windows program. The app was rated 4 stars in the play store. Top comment was the camera clarity/quality, and I’ll have to agree. Its easy to tell that this is a 5MPcamera. Top critical was that the app is unresponsive. I don’t have much experience, but I did notice a number of non working links and dead ends.I’m really hoping that this camera has some sort digital recording capabilities. I use Blue Iris. Without this, the camera really has little value as I refuse to pay for cloud storage. I am privacy conscious, and maintain my own data/video network for security reasons.I’ll revisit this review when I finish with tech support. So far, its been a slow go.Thanks for reading and the opportunity to review this item. I’m going to refrain from making any suggestion at this time and encourage you to read other users reviews. Lots of nice features
This wifi security camera is well-built and very easy to use. The picture quality is great and the two-way audio is a neat feature, especially if you use it to spook the unexpecting visitor. The motion detection is spot on and the AI detection features are really good. I like the colored night vision. I didn’t have any problems with my unit. For the price, I think it’s a good choice for a wifi security camera and recommend this as a solid contender in the market.

The only difference between my normal reviews and my Vine reviews, are I try to go more in depth out of courtesy for others and in respect of the program itself.——————————————————————————-2. Initial ImpressionsPackaging was done very well and everything was in great shape.——————————————————————————-3. Performance and FeaturesI really was not expecting much from this camera from a company I had not heard of before. However this one surprised me. First, it is quite large, roughly the size of a football, give or take. It has cabling for direct to DVR/NVR, however we opted to go with WiFi and MicroSD for local recording. If you have their app you can also record with it to whatever device you are viewing it from (e.g. you can record directly to your PC if you are using their Windows app). It’s fairly responsive as well.——————————————————————————-4. Strengths- Has a decent app. Does not require a subscription.- Full 360 rotation.- Has good night vision.- Good picture quality.- Can give guest users access in the app.- The spotlight is actually decent. It’s not quite as strong as a stand-alone spotlight, but will blind you if you look at it.——————————————————————————-5. Weaknesses or Suggestions- Will not do full 360 turns if you have the WiFi wings extended instead of in the upward position.- The apps could use a little UX work, primarily in making it clear what all the buttons do without having to press them to find out.——————————————————————————-6. Value for MoneyI am skeptical to say the camera is worth $60-70. For it’s class, features provided, and quality I would say $40-50 would feel better. Is it a horrible price at $60? No, but I would wait for a coupon or sale myself to get it closer to the $40-50 mark before I bought one. If the features meet your needs, and you really want a camera now, this could be a good buy for you.——————————————————————————-7.
