Why did they change these?
Bought ones in ’23 and they sounds great.. No cracking or anything. The crackly interference is like nothing I’ve ever experienced before. When you first turn them on that sound is so loud you can’t hear anything playing. After like 30 seconds they sound fine…. Until there is ANY lag on your system. I used them for TV.. I can’t imagine trying to play a video game. They are probably unusable. If I hadn’t broken my last pair I would return these.

Decent headphones
I have mixed feelings about these headsets. The Bluetooth set up was very easy and connected right away. I loved the fact that I didn’t have to use a usb adapter to connect. It’s strictly Bluetooth. In addition you can play the game and have your phone connected to the Bluetooth at the same time. But then I noticed the audio was kinda low. So I figured out you have to go to Xbox accessories to adjust the volume to your liking’s. Once I did that I did not even have to turn the volume half way up because they were pretty loud. The sound is pretty good.i don’t know much about the mic. But im sure its decent to. My complaint is mainly the comfort. These are not for big head people. They need to open a little bit more. So to make these work I have to put the headband toward the back of my head instead of the middle. Make my ears hurt after wearing them for some time. I still like these just wish they were bigger. And the muffs a lil bigger also. These are great for kids and people with little-medium heads lol

Very good Quality
Despite some of the reviews I’ve seen shaming this headset, I have no bad thoughts about how it arrived and how it works. This headset is amazing and worth the price 100%. Yes maybe the $100 dollar range is a bit pricey but for what you get (especially if you buy it new) its worth every penny. Clear audio in party chat and game audio with no lag. Volume works great and the automatic mute is a game changer. If you’re having second thoughts before buying it, that’s completely understandable but this is a very good headset so hopefully this clears some people’s thoughts.

Audio delay
I love the clean design, comfort, and native Xbox integration. The controls are well integrated with large dials that are easy to interact precisely with, as opposed to the small fiddly controls on other headsets.Audio quality out of the box is disappointing. Similar to the original Xbox Wireless Headset, very heavy on the low end making for a muddy/muffled sound. I imagine this can be somewhat corrected using EQ settings, but a headset should sound good and balanced out of the box. The nail in the coffin is that the audio latency, just like the original, is still worst in class. It is especially noticeable in a shooter like COD where you pull the trigger, see the weapon fire on screen…and then you hear the gunshot a beat later. It’s immersion breaking and actually puts you at a disadvantage in competitive games that rely on audio cues, as well as rhythm games.

I bought these for the new Black Ops 6 game. I use to have the Steel Series Arctis 9x but they broke. The all new Xbox Wireless Headset is really punching above its price. Great features and settings built into the Xbox UI. I highly recommend watching a Youtube video on what EQ settings are the best for certain games as the default settings are bass heavy and a little muddy. But once you adjust the EQ settings they sound very comparable to much higher priced headsets. The Dolby Surround sound is great for hearing footsteps and small noise details in BO6. Also, having my Iphone stream music to the Xbox headset while I’m playing games is an awesome feature. The music also sounds great on this headset. At this price point these will make an excellent Christmas gift for any Xbox user you may know.

Was looking for a good headset for my PC. I was a bit skeptical about this one given it is Bluetooth only however it works really well. Sound quality is exceptional. Build quality is very good. Pairs nicely on Xbox as well. Overall I’m very happy with it.

I have bought this three times and every single time there has been a problem.Firstly, two of the three headsets I received were previously opened. The seal was open, the headset was clearly dirty and used.Secondly, with all three headsets, every single time no matter what I did, eventually the headset would start experiencing regular audio cutouts during gameplay.Thirdly, one of the three headsets came with two right-sided inner ear pieces rather than a left and right side.Honestly I’d be able to tolerate all the other stuff including being sent a returned item is the thing just functioned properly, but it doesn’t. And having the headset cut out for 30 seconds randomly 4-5 times during a round of call of duty gets me killed and loses the game. This sucks.
