Fantastic little camera
These are wonderfully nostalgic little cameras. The elder millennial in me is so happy remembering all of my college nights spent carrying one of these around snapping selfies with my friends. It’s a powerful little camera too! Not just cute and pink. The zoom is strong and easy to use, and the display screen is clear and well sized. I got this for my 12 year old before she had a phone so she could capture backstage moments with friends at theatre and dance performances. I think she’ll love looking back on the candid pics instead of just posed ones mom insists on her taking. She was easily able to start using the camera and discovered so many cool features…no instructions needed.

With this, one has to really keep pricepoint in mindThere were some carefuly thought out things like an extra battery and a mem card in packageoptics are mehimage quality is reasonable – good for the price pointthe case isnt going to be super durable..so prob not the best action cambut for a dedicated unit, or a unit that could get broken, or for a little one without a phone, etc this is a decent way to gothough the current pricingg options are a bit baffling

I am really impressed
I think society in general has become jaded about technology and probably doesn’t realize that just a decade ago that this WONNIE digital camera for kids would have been “state of the art” and cost at least an order of magnitude more. No, it isn’t as good as a modern cell phone camera or a DSLR costing nearly $1000, but even at its low cost, it is still pretty damn good. I would bet that in the vast majority of photos, as they are normally viewed, you could not tell which of the before mentioned cameras were actually used to take the picture.I always get a little nervous when my wife hangs her outrageously expensive iPhone (hers is nothing fancy, but I think all Apple products are outrageously priced) over the railing on a cruise ship to get that “special” picture, but with this WONNIE camera, that you can actually (with some difficulty) attach a wrist strap to, I would not worry as much. I think that this camera is amazing in that it has 16X digital zoom (not quite as good as optical zoom, but still a nice feature), auto focus, auto exposure, auto shutdown, white balance, image stabilization, flash, macro focus, date and time coding and rapid shooting. It also has a number of filters and special effects. It can also be used to shoot 1080P videos and/or hooked up to a computer to be used as a web cam. You can charge the batteries in the camera and it comes with an extra battery that would probably allow you to shoot pictures all day. Speaking of extras, it comes with a 32GB FT card, which will record thousands of protos.The pink color is nice for a girl of any age, but some guys might not be comfortable using it. However, if you want to get pictures in environments where you might be putting your expensive cell phone or camera at risk, this WONNIE camera will serve nicely and give you rewarding results.
