Fast download and extra space
Way faster to transfer from the ps5 to the drive then the other way around good drive quality. Lots of extra space for games I had to delete before because I didn’t have room for them. No difference in gameplay or gaming capability that I can tell but the load faster and is easy to install. The design is perfect for the ps5, and it was fast for drive recognition.

Much Needed Improvement
Installed this in my PS5 about six months ago, works flawlessly. The install was simple after watching a short 5 minute video on YouTube, and I haven’t had any kind of compatibility or glitching issues. Can’t recommend this highly enough, great investment.

Great Drive
Installation was fairly easy, I watched the installation video and I installed it as instructed. As soon as it was detected by my PS5 it formatted itself after some prompts and was ready for use, and was told I had a read speed of 6910 MB/s. The only drawback is the voucher included inside the box for 14 days of Playstation Plus Premium, the website where you go to redeem the offer has taken down the online redemption and there’s no current way to redeem the offer that’s both inside and on the package. Which is lame, considering it’s one of the reasons I went with this drive. So to prospective buyers: ignore the offer on the front of the box, at least until they fix it. You’re still getting a great drive, with plenty of space for your gaming needs, just no PS plus trial included. At least for now.

Easy install and works flawlessly.
Needed to add storage to my PS5 and went with this as it was endorsed by PlayStation. Installed in about two minutes (I was going slow and have no computer building skill) after watching the short installation video on the product page (be sure to pay attention on how to get the back of the PS5 off). Booted up my PS5 which instantly recognized the storage and properly formatted it. It’s a great and easy to install option if you need more PS5 storage.

Works great, but not PSN code.
Easy to install and setup! You get the full 4TB of space except for 308MB. Read rate is only 6,538 not 7,300. When going to redeem the 14 day Playstation Plus code, kept getting error message about my email or serial number already been used. The box did have tape on the top, but looked sealed good. Even without the 2 week trial that is a bust, still a good buy! Best part is you can play the games off of it. System counts it as regular storage space.

Expensive, but worth it. The ps5 Slim can now recognise a full 8tb so that’s lot’s of expansions and more games to have available instantly, without transferring back and forth.
