Vosker 300 Ultimate – First Impressions and Long-Term Issues – DO NOT PURCHASE!!!At first, I was impressed with the Vosker 300 Ultimate. The setup was easy, and after about 18 hours of charging the batteries, it took less than 10 minutes to get the unit up and running. Initially, it performed better than other systems I’ve used, like Blink and Arlo Go, and the AI software seemed effective.However, problems began to surface during the first week after I traveled 1,500 miles away from the installation site. The major issue was with customer service asking me to manually reset the unit. Despite repeatedly explaining that I was too far away to physically reset it, they didn’t provide any remote troubleshooting options. For a $500 device, I expected better remote functionality.After speaking with several customer service representatives who didn’t seem to understand my situation, my case was finally escalated. A higher-level representative was able to remotely reset the unit and apologized. But by the time we started troubleshooting, it was already too late to return the unit through Amazon, where I had purchased it due to a backlog on Vosker’s site. Vosker offered a replacement, but the return window with Amazon had passed, leaving me without an option for a refund.During the time the Vosker unit was malfunctioning, we had an intruder on-site. Unfortunately, the Vosker unit didn’t capture or alert us about the incident, while our Reolink camera worked perfectly. After speaking with customer service, I informed them that due to their system failure, I would need to make a $4,000 trip, traveling 1,500 miles, to physically attend to the issue. Eventually, it was determined that the unit needed replacement, but I still couldn’t get a refund due to the Amazon purchase.On top of that, the customer service experience was frustrating. Not only was I told I needed to be physically present to troubleshoot the device, but it also took 72 hours to receive a response after being told someone would contact me within 24-48 hours. They also don’t have an easy way to reach them, relying on no-reply emails, which only added to my frustration. After several weeks, they finally offered to send a replacement unit, but given the delays and communication issues, I’ve lost confidence in this product.Initially, I had planned to invest in 6-10 more Vosker units for our site, but after this experience, I’ve shifted that investment to Reolink. I will be sending this case to Amazon for review.Final Recommendation:Do not purchase the Vosker 300 Ultimate. While the initial setup is easy, the long-term performance and customer service are seriously lacking, especially for a $500 device. The lack of reliable remote access, slow customer service response times, and the failure to capture critical incidents during a security breach make this system unreliable. Coupled with the issues around purchasing through Amazon and Vosker’s inadequate refund and return policies, this device is not worth the investment. Instead, I recommend looking into Reolink, which has demonstrated better performance and customer service. Vosker must improve its product reliability, customer service, and return policy to regain consumer trust.

Low quality pic, gotta pay extra for any video
I do not recommend this camera. I purchased the first one on Amazon, pulled it out of the box to charge the battery, tried to charge the solar panel and no lights would come on, called customer service and they wanted me to activate it through the app before they would send me a new one, I asked them why would I activate something that doesn’t work, so I returned the first one to Amazon. My replacement worked fine. I set it up very easily, took it outside and I guess I didn’t do my homework enough. This thing is going to be super expensive to own. I didn’t realize you couldn’t just access the camera and see a live feed without paying $20 for 40 minutes worth of feed. any other camera I’ve had you could access the live feed. It only charged you to store that in the cloud. My two minutes of free trial didn’t last two seconds. I set it up where I wanted to view my driveway, but you have to get within like 50 feet of it before to even take a picture or acknowledge a vehicle. I was able to walk up to it grab it open it up and shut the camera off without it taking a picture. What good is a camera you have to get right up onto before it takes a picture. I need full video surveillance not some picture snaps. I didn’t realize this was only a game camera.! and the quality of the picture and video is not good at all, especially if the sun is shining towards it. My picture is the pic it took after i drove by it in my truck, didn’t even get it, and the video was 10 sec after i went by. Pathetic. I am packaging up to return now!

Great looks, Poor performance
The bad-Purchased camera in February 2024, battery drained 2 months later, had it on slowest capture rate, recharged battery, battery drained 2 weeks later. Won’t be near property for another month, will return and ask for refund or replacement. When camera worked it lost connection frequently.Clasp to keep battery cover closed is easily popped open, USB-C cable connections from camera to solar panel not out door rated, will corrode being exposed to elements.The good-Great looking camera, app is intuitive, friendly customer service, when camera worked received timely alerts.
