Works really good
I strapped it around my avata with velcro tape. It worked really good and dropped 150 ft up. I was kinda concerned because of the reviews, but it worked really well.

Fun inexpensive little device
I questioned wether a device that cost over $100 LESS than the competition could really work. I performed a test using a few different items, but mainly paint filled water balloons (experiment for our vlog). The device worked perfect for me every time. I didn’t test the distance, but and just over 100′ it worked fine. I don’t have a need to drop stuff a lot so this inexpensive unit fits the bill. I attached it to my landing skids which made it tricky to take off, but avoided the strap covering my downward facing sensor.One downside I experienced was the battery life. The product description says it should last 2hrs. After fully charging mine only worked for roughly 30min. Again I’m not using this as a work horse tool, so not a major concern.

Great buy! A must for your quadcopter or drone!
I have to say this product has been just great. It works perfectly and provides Tons of fun. The drone clip’s oficial airship is one of our Syma X8. It can lift it without issues. You can install it using double sided tape on a used camera gimbal mount. This way you can remove ir easily.Once airborne, the combination is a winner. My nephews and my neigbor’s kids…we dropped talcum powder bombs all afternoon.We have also dropped confeti…Tons of fun!The remote control works perfect, with enough range. The plastics are good quality. The servo opens and closes flawlessly. It is really a great buy for the price. I highly recommend this product!Just remember to keep the payload within the clip’s load capacity and your quad or drone’s maximum lifting weight. (Quad + Clip + cargo)Up next we will try bombing with our Yuneec Breeze and Typhoon. Should also be tons of fun!

Great idea, very poorly executed
This is a great simple idea with some serious flaws in execution. In its current form, it is really nothing more than a toy, and not a great one at that.I would not purchase again. I probably should have returned it but it was too much hassle.Battery life is very poor. Also, don’t leave either the transmitter or receiver turned on when not in use. They drain the batteries needlessly at idle. Receiver is rechargeable, but the transmitter takes button cell batteries.Range is dismal even with a full charge and fresh batteries. Any amount of intervening obstruction like tree leaves and it is even worse. This could have been so much better with a thoughtful design.This is a generic product which is what I needed. The strap may interfere with sensors on your aircraft so be aware of that risk.If I get a bit more range and reliability out of it the device will have served its purpose, but for now, it is not useful to me (dropping a weighted lone through trees to help launch wire antenna supports).It would be a pretty easy device to build and had planned to do just that when I stumbled across this one on Amazon. There are lots of options for (legal) transmitter/receiver devices that would no doubt have better range than this thing.

Used twice, no longer works.
I used this device twice for TNR, attached to my cage, press button and have a trapped cat. It really worked great! Twice. The battery barely holds a charge and now the trigger and the clip are not pairing. It’s been nothing but frustration and heartache as the trigger keeps failing and I’m losing kittens out of my trap. 3 days out of the return window and there is nothing I can do.

Yes this drone racing remote clip is a good buy. Battery life is good, no problems with dropping from 75 to 100 ft. I received everything that was in the description. 1 issue I had, and it’s not really an issue that’s bad right now. But the way to charge the ion battery is a delicate way to charge the battery. Doing this over a period of time the wires may break off at where they are soldered, or where they are inserted into the clip that plugs into the charger. It hasn’t happened and hopefully it won’t. It’s fun addition to my drone when I just want to drop a note on someone’s door step. Or play rescue an injured toy person with the kids. Etc. Thanks for selling some inexpensive fun.

Amazing for TNR!
While this is designed for a drone, it is the purrfect option for remote triggering a trap when trying to catch specific cats for TNR efforts. I used it on one of my ferals I overwintered know my basement, and was able to trigger it upstairs in my kitchen without her suspecting a thing. She had become very trap savvy, and wouldn’t step on the trigger plate, while also not entering the trap when I was present. This is a life saver, and I’ll be using it again in a day or so on a suspected pregnant cat.

I love the product because the DJI alternative is $100
I love the product because the DJI alternative is $100. So the price is great, the only thing that I would change is the receiver would have a charging port to simplify the charging process. I currently taped the USB charger to the neck strap so as not to lose it, also the transmitter would only increase in size nominally if it incorporated one or two AAA batteries. If this product was to incorporate any of these improvements I would love to be a reseller. Bottom line, the product performs as advertised and the price is right.

J’ai aimé cet article, je l’ai utilisé pour larguer une figurine de soldat avec un parachute, ça permet de s’amuser dans la campagne.Par contre, la batterie du drone va perdre en autonomie car il lui faut plus d’énergie pour soulever la charge ( sauf si elle est très légère ).Il faut faire attention au vent si on largue un parachute, il peux y avoir une route avec des voitures pas loin ( plus l’altitude de larguage est élevé plus il y a un risque )Sinon super produit.
