I thought this would be a trip down memory lane for me and my husband, but my kids (5 and 14) have truly enjoyed it with us. Couldn’t be happier with the update. There are so many options for play, downloads, and unlockable contents. We are really enjoying it.

The visuals are basic and don’t showcase the power of the console as well as some other titles do. That said, it doesn’t detract too much from the overall enjoyment of the game, especially if you’re more focused on the gameplay and story.If you’re looking for a fun, challenging game that offers a dose of nostalgia, the PS5 Oregon Trail is worth checking out. Expensive for what it is. This was a nostalgia buy. No doubt about it. Game play is a little confusing and not very well explained. Wont be a repeat play game

enjoyed playing this game. It is only one player but every time someone plays we all like to gather around and see if they will survive. Good addition to the original game. It also has other challenges it keeps you coming back after you make it to Oregan the 1st time.

If you are looking for a mechanically similar game to the one you got to play an hour a week in the computer lab with updated graphics and revisions, this is the one to get. I’ve had a blast playing through the additional scenarios and it was a complete nostalgia bomb.If you are looking for a modernized action adaptation, this is not the product for you.
