This game is hands down the best game I’ve played on the PS4. I loved the various degrees of difficulty. After playing the normal mode the first time, I went back and replayed several times in the harder modes. The storyline had me intrigued from the first scene and continued to throw unexpected curve balls through the entire game. This is a game I could play many times over (which I have) and not get bored. Purchasing the second game happened instantly after finishing this and it was just as great. I highly recommend both games to anyone who loves a great story line and 3rd person video games.

Absolutely love this game but…
One of my favorite video game franchises ever, such a good story and good characters. However specifically in this remastered version, Joel’s face looks very different from the original. It was jarring to finish this game and start playing Part II, where his face is back to normal. Not sure exactly what is different… maybe his eyes? It’s just kinda odd. I did enjoy playing Left Behind after finishing the main story though.

かなり前に国内版をプレイしてクリア済み。久しぶりにと思い、ついでなら海外版をしてみたくて購入。日本語吹き替え、字幕もないが問題はなし。淡々と進めれる。画質も安定の域。やはり海外版。表現がエグい。銃で撃てば頭が吹っ飛ぶ。当たった所がえぐれていたりと演出が細かい。クリッカーをストンプすると頭がぐちゃぐちゃ。開発陣が表現したかった演出が全て味わえるのはこんなにもゲームの見方を変えてしまう。ゲーム自体への向き合い方すら変わってしまった。決してそちら系のマニアではない人間です。でも、このゾンビが徘徊する世紀末感の中をサバイバルに生きる体験ができるという意味では最高の作品。
