Fun tiny RGB keyboard with excellent keys.
This review is for the TECKNET 60% Wired Gaming KeyboardI got this keyboard out of curiosity. I have a coworker who is a Linux terminal wizard who prefers this style of keyboard for its simplicity and size.Its reduced size is perfect for me as a backup keyboard when wireless options are not working. I normally use Logitech keyboards and mice. Recently, I got another mouse and when I went to pair it, I couldn’t because I had too many devices paired with my current unifying receiver. I had to unplug my current USB receiver and plug in the new receiver to pair with the mouse. The problem is that I couldn’t use my wireless keyboard anymore to advance to the next screen to pair my new mouse. This keyboard came to the rescue.The weight of the keyboard is a pleasant surprise. It feels solid. The feet have the perfect amount of friction to keep it fixed on my desk while I type.The mechanical sound of this keyboard is fun. I personally wouldn’t want to listen to this everyday, but that is just personal preference.After having used it, I am also not a fan of the style. I use the navigation keys on the right side of a regular keyboard a lot. Navigation keys aside, I suspect that I can type on this keyboard faster than my regular keyboard because of the excellent feel. It is easy to type on. I’m using it right now to type this review.My one critique is that I wish the keyboard had a way to switch to a single color for the keys. It would be nice to be able to step through standard colors to match the rest of your system. Bright white would also be nice a6s the user is getting used to the keyboard layout.

Clickety-Clack, But Where’s the Whack?
The TECKNET Wired Keyboard is a solid choice for anyone looking to step up their typing or gaming setup without breaking the bank. The compact 61-key design is sleek and portable, and the RGB backlighting offers tons of customization options that are sure to please. Plus, the ability to map the keys for a Mac setup is a thoughtful touch for cross-platform users.The mechanical red switches are responsive but feel a bit hollow, which keeps it from feeling super premium. That said, it’s still a huge upgrade from your average chiclet keyboard. While I wouldn’t make it my daily driver, it’s a fantastic option for the price—perfect as an affordable gaming or secondary keyboard.Overall, for the cost, it’s a great value and an easy recommendation.

Great value wired keyboard
This keyboard is really nice for the price. I love the mechanical switches and RGB effects. There are tons of RGB patterns and colors, including some that are off when keys are not pressed, which is great for me since the keyboard is in my bedroom and RGB can be too bright at night. I mostly love the layout, though I don’t like that you have to sacrifice the / ? key to have arrow keys. Also, the pause hotkey (FN + I) doesn’t appear to work. It’s also worth emphasizing that this is a WIRED keyboard. There is no bluetooth or other wireless connectivity. The included USB-C cable was also a little stiff and kinked, so I replaced it with a spare braided USB-C that I had lying around. Overall, I’m really happy with this keyboard and think its a great budget option for a cheap upgrade.

Well made little keyboard, fantastic for a server.
I have a handful of Raspberry Pis that usually just work but from time to time I need to plug a keyboard into them and fiddle with things. I got this for that exact purpose and it works super well. It doesn’t take up too much space so it’s not in the way when I’m not using it, but it has everything I need when I need to plug it in.As the description says, this is 60% the size of a normal keyboard, so it’s smaller and isn’t super easy to type on if you’re used to a full sized keyboard (who isn’t?). That said, it works really well and the keys are super responsive. I don’t think I could write a novel on it because my fingers are used to a full sized keyboard, but this is fantastic for simple stuff. I absolutely love the small footprint.

Typing this review using the keyboard and here’s my initial impressions…I like the shine through keycaps but the contrast with some of the RGB colors and white keys makes them almost unreadable unless you are in a dark room. The keyboard was recognized by my Mac and functioned as expected out of the box, but Mac-specific keycaps (Command, Option, etc) are not included. The only “extras” are a USB cable and low quality key puller. The height adjustment design is pretty unique with magnetic feet that can lift the back to 3 different heights. The build quality is what you’d expect at the price point, its fairly solid (all) plastic and the sound of the keys is a bit hollow compared other no-frills boards I have used. If you are looking for a cheap(ish) keyboard with RGB and shine through caps, this could be the keyboard for you.

La verdad que muy sorprendido. Al principio pensaba que las teclas de velocidad de los led no funcionaba, pero tras leer las instrucciones… Muuuucho mejor. Por ahora lo he probado y seguiré probando con Doom Eternal y como principiante que soy, he de decir que se nota el cambio. Usar el Logitech K800 va bien, pero con este teclado ha mejorado la jugabilidad y ya digo que soy principiante. Luego habrá que ver con el paso del tiempo si el teclado sigue aguantando y sigue dando la respuesta que he podido comprobar con unas horas de juego. Más adelante edito si veo que eso no chuta. Y como dicen otros usuarios, algunas reseñas no hacen referencia a este teclado. Es el del video que cuelgo. En definitiva, si el teclado aguanta, no se estropean los leds, las teclas no se rompen… Por el precio en oferta Flash (~25€), la verdad es que creo que vale la pena.

Estaba buscando un teclado de este tipo para probarlo y en lo que no tuviera que invertir mucho dinero. Las características que buscaba era que fuese mecánico, de 88 teclas (para ganar algo de espacio) y retroiluminado porque acostumbro a trabajar también en horas nocturnas. La carcasa del teclado es de plástico, la iluminación me parece bastante bien, aún me estoy acostumbrando a que las teclas están un poco más juntas. Lo uso básicamente para programación y me ha ido bastante bien. El sonido de las teclas es un poco fuerte para mi gusto, pero no estridente. Es un teclado muy recomendable para los que deseen probar un teclado mecánico.

Es una delicia escribir en este teclado. Si tienes algo más de 20 años, al pulsar un par de teclas te vendrá la nostalgia de esos ordenadores antiguos que tanto molaban.Lo que mola es su comodidad y sus leds; Aprentando el botón FN + Insert cambias los modos de led, pudiendo elegir si las quieres siempre encendidas, que al pulsar sobre una tecla se encienda como una onda de agua, barridos de color, etc;Lo que no mola tanto es que no puedas definir los colores, ejemplo: no puedes poner todas las teclas azules. Los leds están compuestos de la siguiente manera: arriba, azules; las siguientes, lilas; las que siguen, verdes; después naranjas; rosas y finalmente rojas.A pesar de esto último, estoy muy contento con la compra.
