Fantastic Sound, long battery life
I have been using the TAGRY X88 Bluetooth Wireless Earbuds for a couple of days now. Here are my thoughts about them:PackagingThe item came neatly packaged with clear instructions on how to use and pair the device. The earbuds were fully charged upon arrival. The earbuds were paired without any issue. My device was able to quickly detect them and the notifications in the earbuds helped make it clear that the earbuds were paired. The item also came with a charging cable – USB-C cable. A welcome addition and an unexpected one as well (I’ve had other Bluetooth headsets that didn’t come with any charging cables).The Instructions were well written and clearly showed how to use the product along with accurate pairing instructions. The instructions also included how to use the headset for phone calls and voice assistant technology.Overall, I was happy with how the item was packaged and how it looked upon arrival – the charging cable being included was a welcome added bonus as well.Pros:-Quality Sound – I’ve enjoyed the sound that comes from these, I’ve used them for several hours straight and had no issues with the sound quality. They have delivered high-quality sound including with bass sounds and higher-pitched sounds as well. When using both earbuds it gives a somewhat surround sound feel to it, which is nice. I also found that I did not have to turn my sound up too high to get quality sound – which is a good sign to me that they are delivering quality sound.-Long Battery Life – I found that these earbuds had a strong battery life, I used them for 4-5 hours at a time and did not get a notification of low battery (it helps that the case has it’s own built in battery so you can recharge on the go). The charging cable is USB C which is a nice addition as this charging option is becoming more standard.-Comfort – These have been fairly comfortable and fit well on my ear. The rubber cover for my ear fits well and I did not notice any issues with them after hours of use.-Charging – I found that the case quickly charged up and it appears that the battery on the case will last for several recharges of the earbuds before needing to be recharged-Case/Earbud Quality – The items were of a decent quality and lasted through some rough use from time to time.-Range – I found that these earbuds had a good range – lasting about 25ft before beginning to fade out and lose the connection (not unsurprising since it’s a bluetooth connection)Cons:-Case/Earbud Quality – my only issue with the case is that it was made of plastic and didn’t have quite the weight I was expecting. The plastic looked like it might not hold up after months of use…but this is fairly minor and overall they have handled well during use.OverallI am happy with my purchase and would recommend these earbuds.

The best you’ll find for this price. One-five on a sale (?!), but even at full-price, these are a solid bargain, competitive with 4-6x what I paid, at least.The sound is robust and clear. They won’t satisfy an audiophile, but they are not looking in anything close to this price range. Great for engaging music or podcasts while working out, cleaning house, etc.The microphone is poor–not good for phone conversations beyond minimal transmission of information–my husband says they sound “tinny” on the other side.There’s no transparency mode or auto-ear-detection, which I do miss. But for the price? Yes. They have a niche.And the customer service? Unparalleled.I began my quest looking for cheap waterproof earbuds I could wear in conditions where they were very likely to get wet or possibly fall into a pool.In the course of testing about 8 different pair in the twenty-five range (half-off), I stumbled into another pair of Tagrys (style now unavailable) for that price that blew the others out of the window, sound-wise. I couldn’t believe the price for quality. I suspected their waterproofness, so swirled them underwater for 30 seconds–and they continued to work. Good enough for me. AND, they came with an unexpected sticker promising lifetime warranty, including replacement for any reason including loss. I didn’t trust this, given the price–so I also bought a second pair, figuring they’d be worth it even if essentially disposable (and given I knew I’d have them around water a lot.)But, as fate had it, I ended up losing one pair, and then dropping one earbud of the second pair at the bottom of 10 feet of water for 20 minutes. That earbud did not survive the experience–but to be fair, it was beyond its promised level of waterproofness.But they said lifetime guarantee for any reason–so I sent the email. One email for both sets. I was REFUNDED within 3 days, with a friendly note. No other interaction. The easiest warranty claim I’ve ever made.This pair seems similar in quality, plus hooks so they won’t fall off (and drown), plus the lifetime guarantee. So I’m a fan, and having a hard time not hoarding too many extra pairs of these dang-near-free ear buds (I have a couple styles now).
