I ordered a ps2 from these guys and was super excited to receive it! Been wanting to play my GTA: vice city like crazy! It shipped fast and was packaged very well. Everything went easy installing as always with these consoles. The game played for a minute then stopped reading the disk. So I tried multiple games to make sure it wasn’t my disk and sure enough, it wouldn’t read at all. I reached out to the company and they accepted my return for a replacement console! I won’t be able to ship mine out until tomorrow but they already have my replacement on the way!!! Very professional and very satisfied so far with the process. I’m hoping my replacement works just fine and will update once I get it! No need to make a scene when it comes to refurbished electronics. It is a gamble buying these things but they were quick on replacing it! Thanks guys!Update!!! Got my new one in the mail today and it works PERFECTLY!! So happy they quickly got me a replacement. The controller up and down buttons don’t work, but it’s okay because I have plenty other working controllers. Y’all are amazing and will recommend you guys to anyone looking for a refurbished console!

Was this Unit Tested Before Shipping? Item Does Not Read PS2 Disks – Awaiting Replacement
The outside of the unit looks good with no scratches or scuffs.However, it does not read any PS2 discs.I tried with multiple discs, including those that were brand-new in the box, and had been in their original factory shrink-wrap.No matter what PS2 discs I tried, none would work.I am giving this vendor a second-chance and ordered a replacement rather than the refund option.I’ll update this review once the replacement unit is received and tested.

Not 100% restored but works well otherwise
The disc carrier doesn’t open or close properly. I have to manually shut it, ensuring it closes all the way. I have to use a screwdriver to prise it open every time I have to open it. I’m sure there’s a fix somewhere online for this. Otherwise, the controller is perfect. It came with a memory card and all the necessary cables. I am happy to have it, just wish the drive worked.

I’m so happy to have a PS2 again!
It came a little later than expected but it’s because of a snow storm. After I got it I started playing for at least 3 hours a day. It runs just like old Playstation 2s. I don’t regret it! If you have an old games collection but no PS2 buy this it’s worth it to relive old childhood and teenage memories.

Does not play the colored ps2 games, ( I have a picture of the ones it doesn’t play ) comes a little scuffed up and missing parts other then that it works pretty decent unless you’re playing grand theft auto San Andreas then it keeps popping up saying can’t read the disc as you’re in the middle of playing it

Honestly, I was a little hesitant buying an older console on Amazon. You gamble on whether it’s going to be in good working condition, or if it’ll be broken / poor condition. I’m happy to say, from my experience… this seller is genuine and has made my day. Everything was carefully wrapped and packed securely. The PS2 works perfectly, starts up no problem, reads discs, hasn’t froze on me yet. Controller works, no stick lag or sticky buttons. All the wiring came with it. The two bonus games + the batteries for the controller were nice additions. Overall, am thankful for the product, product quality, and the shipping+delivery experience.

I’ll be honest, I was very skeptical about buying a gaming console from Amazon. But I’ve heard good things about the gaming return policies and quality through Amazon so I went for it. I’m very pleased so far! The console came packaged very well with no damage to the package or the console. The console is clean and works well! The controller is an original controller that also works. Pretty stoked that it all worked out so well!
