Somnic is the best brand of gaming headphones I’ve ever owned
I’ve been using the Somnic brand of headphones since 2019, and I absolutely love them. I got these headphones a couple of months ago because my other ones broke (no fault of the company, it accidentally broke the aux cable off, oops!) The sound quality it’s great, I use these for my xbox, and they are amazing. I play a lot of horror games, so sound quality is a very important part of my gaming. Though, I’m not sure why, but sometimes the audio with cut out, but if you mess with the aux plug, it fixes itself. Microphone quality is a major improvement from older models. I get people asking what I use, because my mic is very good, it doesn’t pick up background noise, which is great! I’ve test the audio myself and it’s the best mic i’ve ever used, and the ability to pull and retract the mic is so convenient. I like the volume control as well, though sometimes you have to feel for the actually control, as the mute switch is also right above it, so sometimes when you go to adjust the sound, you might accidentally mute yourself. other than that, the headphones are very good. they’re also so so cute! the removable plates are adorable! i wish there were more plates you can change, but it’s still adorable!! I also love that the cat ears aren’t removable, as the older models, the ears would fall off, so this is a huge upgrade. I can’t really comment on the light feature as i don’t use it, but from what i can tell, it’s a nice feature, but it would be nice if they were RGB lights instead of a regular white light. overall, this is a good brand, and they are constantly improving the quality of their headphones. if you’re starting out and need a nice pair of headphones, these one are amazing. compared to other expensive headphones like Razor, they’re cheaper, but a little more pricey, but the price is good for the quality. these will last you a long time, and they’re definitely worth the quality. would recommend if you’re a new gamer, or even a og gamer! i trust this company, and they’re amazing, and i love this product!

Extra Comfy!
I wear glasses and that made finding comfortable headsets hard. Not only are these headphones adorable, surprisingly sturdy, and sound amazing but they also really comfortable. I’ve worn them for over 8 hours a day, multiple days in a row. I will have to say these headphones are heavy, they’re well paded but you notice it when you pick them up.Overall I love these headphone and I’m going to buy more for my console gaming.

Good headphones for the price
The headphones are super cute and the sound is perfect for gaming. I often play BG3 or Genshin impact so I’m playing for hours at a time, they aren’t painful to wear as long as they aren’t too tight. The LEDs only work with the usb plug in so I haven’t tried them but still great. The mic is a little bendy so you can move it to adjust. The buttons on the back are super easy to use

Better than Razer!?
We got these the other day for my daughter and she is loving them. If they turn out to be durable, then they will be the best we’ve bought yet. She has the Razer Kraken in Quartz and she says these sound much better. We did get the Kraken used, so we can’t truly compare the original quality, but we have always been die hard advocates for the brand. I know the noise cancelling is excellent in these because when I talk to her, she doesn’t hear me and I have to wave at her to get her attention. (No, she’s not a sullen teenager, she’s 20 and likes me…lol) They are super cute and the interchangeable side caps use 3 magnets, so they are super secure. So far, they are a cute, excellent, and affordable alternative to the more expensive brands.

These headphones are super cute. The light is charming, the magnetic cups are adorable, and everything looks exactly like the pictures. But everything else is average to poor.The earpads are made out of cheap, faux leather that was already cracking–it’ll absolutely not hold up long-term; I know the type. They’re also NOT surround sound. I tested on multiple PC games. I could not hear the surround, at least not obviously. Surround was emulated fine in my old pair, just not these. Microphone sounds fair. Noise cancellation is fair, but everyone else could hear what I was playing.Sound quality is rather poor. For $55, I expected a little better maybe? Bass sounds incredible–it’s deep and full, albeit too quiet for my taste. But all other sounds are hollow, low-quality, and tinny, like an old box radio with a subwoofer attached. Treble is far too loud and sharp, like ear-piercing, nails-on-a-chalkboard sharp. I tested these beside my dated Razer Kraken headset, and there was NO comparison–Kraken sounds worlds better. (To be fair, the old Krakens are made of equally cheap materials that began to peel on the headband after only one & half years of light, daily use).To summarize, the $55 price tag is for the style and light-up ears. The sound is somewhat poor.

I was surprisingly taken aback with how good these budget headset turned out! I bought these to replace a recent purchase I had (Razer Kraken BT Wireless Kitty Headset) and I am so stunned that these are way better than the $150 headset from a giant reputable brand!The Somic GS510 are super cute and quite durable! The cushions on the top of the headrest are comfy and don’t cause me discomfort. The cushion cups for the ears don’t hurt either BUT they may cause some slight discomfort after along time of wearing it (normally if it’s because I put it on too tight and leave it on too long). The magnetic clip ons are such a unique and cute touch to the headset, brownie points for that!! I love that the headset lights up, although I haven’t found ways to change the RGB colors of the headset.As for the sound quality of the headset, I definitely give it a 8.5/10. Very solid, good quality sound can be played in my ears. If I tweak things just right on my sound applications on my PC, it is amazing for the price! The mic isn’t the best mic, but it does a decent job in my discord calls. At first, my friends said my mic quality had alot of grainy-ness and static to it, but after tweaking things around on discord settings, they told me the mic sounded much better! Compared to the Razer BT Kitty, these sounded way better too!!All in all, I give this headset an 9/10 simply because it is a very good budget friendly headset that does its job and looks adorable. You don’t need to break the bank for a good pair!
