I Love my new Soliom SL800-WIFI security camera’s
These cameras are great, I’ve had several other outdoor cameras and so far these are the best. The app is great and set up was simple. These cameras even come with a SD card. The subscription is reasonable but it’s not mandatory and you can record 24/7 to the SD card. These cameras catch everything, they make me feel really secure. My old cameras missed a lot of activity, I could not count on them. These cameras will pick up a mouse running around in my planter. The battery stays at 100% all day and that’s whith 24/7 recording. The cameras are pretty durable and installation was a breeze, took like 5 minutes. The clarity is awesome, Even at night. They even have a two-year warranty!! Lots of bang for your buck! I wish I would have found these cameras 2 years ago. I purchased two and I think I’m going to purchase two more. Wi-Fi signal is very good and I have not had any dropouts. They have been online since day one and I’m quite a ways from my router. Thanks again Soliom for a great product at a great price

GREAT CAMERA FOR A 1ST TIMER, NO ISSUES, EASY LEARNING CURVE…
Review for SOLIOM S600 3G/4G LTE Outdoor Solar Powered Cellular Security CameraSetting this camera up is easy. Just pop in the battery and the included SIM card and it works fine, even in areas with weak cell service. We have very weak AT&T signal and decent Verizon coverage. The included SIM works fine for us. I installed this camera on a tree close to a split in the entrance to our farm. Motion detection works well to identify vehicles entering and leaving. 10 second video clips post as they should. I did consider getting a SIM card from Verizon for this unit but left the included card in and activated that service once the initial free trial period expired – it costs about $14 a month to month overall for basic service. There are other plans but I don’t seem to need anything else and am happy with the service as is.The camera is mounted to a small piece of pressure treated plywood which is then mounted to a rather flat spot in a 20+ year old oak tree. Sun angles were taken into consideration to keep the solar panel fueling the unit. I haven’t touched the camera since December 2023 and its now late in March 2024. Had a few warnings that the battery was low over the winter while we were out of state but since I don’t check the camera very often (usually only on an alert), the battery wasn’t a problem. Unit is still working great. Mounted about 10 feet up in that tree to keep it hard to mess with and also out of a simple line of sight. Maybe installing the camera any higher would hamper the motion detection? Not sure. Works fine a 10 feet though.A drawback to any motion detection camera is wind and trees moving. I could tell when the weather was rough as the unit would send motion alerts quite a bit on breezy days. The tree limbs were trimmed to prevent loads of motion alerts but on super windy days other trees can trigger the camera. I was able to disable motion detection during those few bad weather periods, just gotta remember to turn motion detection back on. Overall, I’m pleased with the camera… I think most people would enjoy it.Oh, the picture. Clear overall. Quality is decent but video can sometimes be a little choppy with low data transmission. Sound from the microphone is decent though its a bit limited. The pass through speaker works so you can ‘talk’ through the camera if needed. If you pan and tilt the camera with the controls through the app, it will have a delay with a weaker cellular data connection. Usually, I’d tap a directional arrow once and wait 5 seconds, the camera would move and then I’d tap again if necessary. Pretty simple overall even though there are lots of options. Might get another couple and attach their SIM cards onto my Verizon plan as a regular add-a-phone for $10 a month but right now I don’t mind the $14 a month with whatever Chinese company provides the cellular connection.Thumbs up from this user 😉

A really great camera with a sharp picture
I must admit that I was a little surprised by the quality of this camera considering the very reasonable price. The setup was very simple and it picks up cellular better than my phone out on our land. Picture quality is good in SD, but when I changed it over to HD, it blew my mind how sharp the picture was! The app is easy to use and not too complex. You can adjust the sensitivity for alerts, which is a great feature. Their cellular plans are competitive as well. Very pleased with my purchase and highly recommend this security camera!

Great camera, simple setup and SOLAR!!
Very simple setup. The only issue I had was the screws that come with it are very poor quality. I bent two of them and I was not even pushing hard. Threw them out and used some stainless screws and all is good. For the last week I have been trying to tweak the settings so that it does not alert with movement on the other side of my 1.25 acre property. It is very sensitive to movement and could use some filtering.Solar is more than enough to keep the camera running 24×7. I left the light on purposely for the first few days and it was never at risk of the battery dying.Wifi setup was easy. Phone app is OK. It could use a web interface too so that you can get a better look at the camera.Video quality is very good in HD and good in SD.Flying bugs like the camera even with the light off so there is a lot of movement at night, but it is smart enough not to alert for flying bugs.Audio quality is good and bidirectional conversation is easy and clear.Good overall camera. I’ve only had it up for almost 2 weeks so will update in a couple of months with status. So far so good.

CORRECTION.First camera was sold incorrectly to my region.Soliom Tech support good involved and the correct camera was supplied.Second camera connected via 4G and is working correctly, just about to start bench test.

Good and quality camera surveillance exterieur solaire lte, you need to find the right sim card to use it in Canada, it can’t be used in Nigeria for this version, it has 360 view, motion detection notification features

I live on a farm in Alberta and wanted to monitor our long driveway. We don’t have line of sight or power so tried this. It did take some time to figure out the SIM Card. Bell had no idea and it took many phone calls to get nowhere. Finally I used a Bell SIM Card from a tablet that I had but never used. I was paying monthly on this SIM anyways on a data usage basis. On my online account at Bell, I assigned that SIM Card to a new device and entered the cameras serial number. It actually worked! You’ll have to have the SIM card activated by Bell I think. Because mine was already activated, I didn’t have to. It is frustrating tho bc Bell nor TELUS had a clue what I wanted- good luck!
