Good Battery Life
I waited several months before making this review. 5 months later and the watch is still holding its charge at least two weeks after charging. It’s basically a run of the mill watch like sold here. The sleep, distance and blood pressure apps, meh. But still a very nice watch.

Virtually useless
This watch functions very poorly. I rarely return anything and most I am quite happy with the various purchases I make on Amazon. I make a lot of them. This watch is a distinct exception and it is going back in less than 24 hours after I received it.First of all, it functions very poorly as a heart rate monitor. A simple pulse oximeter carried in one’s pocket would be more functional. It requires many steps to get to the HR screen and once you are there, the reading is not esp accurate. It takes a long time to get to the screen then a long time to record the HR once you are there so that by the time you actually do get a number, the rate has declined significantly from its peak. Moreover, there is not a way to keep in HR mode as it readily reverts to the clock face.Speaking of the clock face, it is not esp useful and certainly not one I would choose. The website leads you to believe there is some choice in this regard but there is none. If you need to set the time, there is not a way to do so directly. You have to go through the app on your phone or tablet. It will connect to a tablet which sets it apart from many sports watches which will only connect to a phone. The app itself does not work esp well and there is absolutely no instructions which are of use in trying to figure out how to use this watch. One is sort of on his own. The “instruction booklet” – if you can call it that – is fairly useless and contains little that one would not already know. Basically it provides a code to be scanned so as to enable the app on one’s tablet or phone. The problem is that once this connection is made, there is virtually no more information there than was in the booklet.To sum it all up, the watch does not measure HR easily and takes a long time to do so. By the time you actually get a reading, the rate has gone way down. The clock face is extremely unappealing and requires button pushing to even access it. I could find no way to change the dysfunctional clock face to a form which was a bit more appealing. Documentation on watch function is largely absent.Save yourself time and aggravation by simply buying a pulse oximeter or else a better quality sports watch.There is also not

Better than the other $20 option
Update: seems like this one is going back as well. The notifications for texts stop coming thru and I have to go back in and toggle the switch, which sometimes will or will not work. When I do this I find that random apps have the toggle on for notifications even if I had then off, and they keep coming back– amazon shopping, Disney plus, home Depot, it doesn’t make sense.It seems there are only two smart watches that are around $20 with different sellers but the model is the same if you look closely. This one is the larger one/men’s size, although I do like it for my small female wrists; the font is larger on this one and you cannot adjust the font size.I like there is weather on this one, the other one did not have it. It also seems like the bluetooth range is farther, OR if i’m out of range it reconnects automatically. I couldn’t find any info on this in the manual or other reviews. The other style you have to manually reopen the app to reconnect.The thing I do not like about this is it doesn’t seem to have an automatic dimmer on the screen. You have to manually dim it at night/indoors and make it brighter outside. In that same vein, it doesn’t seem to have a theater mode, or toggle to switch from “lift to wake” or push/tap to wake. I would like that in a movie or a dark group class setting. However the screen is nice and bright and easy to read in full sun. I actually do not know how to turn off the screen without turning off the watch. The touch screen is very sensitive and sometimes will read a swipe a different way than you intended.Battery life is pretty good. Lasts about a week. I do not think you can reply to messages on it as it doesn’t seem to have a mic. And you can only decline phone calls, and not answer them.It can work as a shutter button to take pics on your phone. It’s a nice feature to offer but it’s really lacking in actual functionality. In order for it to work as a remote, you need to open the watch app and go to the camera. Due to this a lot of the options from your phone’s camera are not accessible. So unless you are taking pics in perfect lighting and don’t need adjustment, this feature is useless. When you do click the shutter it gives you a 2 second countdown.Overall I like this one better than the other $20 version, and after a week I do believe I will keep this one. Also this screen is pretty much a screen for the entire face of the watch. The other version was much smaller than the flat part of the watch face if you used any watch face other than black it was very obvious it was a cheap watch bc the actual screen was much smaller.

Accurate measurement of steps
This product is much more accurate than the itouch watch that I had been using. The itouch watch was so far off, that I thought that I was walking much further than I actually walked. A walk around my neighborhood on my itouch was .52 miles when it is actually .33 miles. Which this watch measured accurately.
