I’m seeing some misinformation in other Vine reviews, so hopefully this will help set the record straight.✅ This mouse works without custom drivers. You can plug in the wireless USB dongle, flip the power switch on, and the mouse will just work. The DPI buttons will work, the forward/back (labeled 4 & 9) button will work, and the the other side buttons will work as mapped to number keys by default. I first tried this on my Macbook Pro M1 without any custom software, and it worked as expected. In other words, this will work on Windows, MacOS, and Linux.✅ The mice settings are stored on-device. Which is very good. This means that you can install the custom software, configure the mouse, and then uninstall the custom software. The mouse will keep its settings. You can plug the mouse into a different computer and it will keep the same settings. Just the less critical features like profile switching require the software to be installed.✅ If you use a KVM that only supports basic HID mice (sometimes labeled with a mouse icon), this mouse and other gaming mice may not work. Most gaming mice stretch standard HID features to support higher (1000Hz) polling rates. If your KVM/USB hub has normal USB ports, that should work normally with this mouse.✅ The mouse charges on standard USB-C 5V. If you leave the power switch to OFF, then plug it in, the mouse will work over USB. To use it with wireless, you have to flip the power switch to ON.❗️ The custom software installer is unsigned. This will give you an “unknown publisher” warning when attempting to install. If you’ve been around the block, you’ve seen this warning before. On my Windows 11 computer, I did not have to change any firewall settings to install the software. However, if you have strict firewall settings on, you may need to lower that setting. This is a downside kind of worth considering, though the risk is frankly low. There are advanced steps you can take to isolate the software if you really want. Also the software is Windows-only. You’ll need to configure this mouse on Windows before using it on MacOS or Linux.❗️ This is not the most beginner-friendly device. Minimal instructions and somewhat intimidating config software. I see this really being targeted towards gamers who are experienced using gaming mice and software. If you’re savvy, you’ll figure this out immediately. Else it may be confusing.🟢 Onto my actual review of the mouse — it’s alright, solid. With the 9-key side attachment, I’m weighing this in at ~105g, so not really lightweight. The tech specs are good, the PAW3311 optical sensor is fine.The ergonomics I personally like. The clicks feel good to me, very similar to other gaming mice. The side buttons are clicky, not mushy. The vertical “1” button is the only button that’s not easy to press, which is unfortunate. They intended the bottom half of the button to serve as a thumb rest, and the top half for clicking, but overall just not a great implementation. In practice, I just wouldn’t use that vertical button.Overall this is a serious attempt at making an MMO mouse. Worth considering if the feature set matches what you’re looking for.

SOLAKAKA SM809 Pro Wireless MMO Gaming Mouse with 9 Side Buttons
This is a mouse that has plentiful amount of buttons, great polling rates, but sadly even for my mid sized hands, I found it uncomfortable to use. It has a high palm rest on top, and the slickness of the mouse itself is pretty bad. Add to that the weight, and I just couldn’t use it. I love the amount of buttons and even the way each is made in different directions so you can feel and not have to look. But the 2 factors I listed made this a no-go for me. Has 2 changeable left thumb plates, so if you don’t need 9 buttons you can reduce that. The palm rest needs to be lowered and grips added to make it useable. I review for vine, so even though I suggest changes, I don’t change anything, and just review on what we or you would receive. So these suggestions you may find unnecessary.

Pretty Fancy Mouse IMPRESSED
This is a pretty nice little MMO mouse, attractive styling, it fits the desktop aesthetic I have going, its ergonomic, and has plenty of programmable buttons for various functions. I play quite a few games where I like to program the abilities to the buttons that I use on the mouse so I don’t have to move my hand too much on the keyboard from movement keys, especially in FPS and MOBA games. AND then the mouse keeps impressing me, its got adjustable side pieces for grips and buttons that are magnetically connected to the mouse! Honestly was more impressed by this than I should have been but it is pretty cool still.Now for the downsides for me, nothing that I would dock a star for (yet), but still some small gripes that you should be aware of. It does use software that you have to download from their site to adjust the DPI settings, and button settings, while NOT a big deal, I am not a big fan of having software for EVERY device attached to my pc, but I get it. The buttons can be a little hard to press, mainly the forward “1” button, and the “DPI Down” button, but not a huge gripe, just gonna take some getting used to. And lastly the RGB isn’t all that adjustable as far as I’ve found, and is a little lack luster in my opinion, but again, nothing to beat this mouse to death with.So overall if you’re in the market for an affordable programmable MMO mouse, this is definitely a viable option, especially with coupons, and amazon deals, I would recommend it.TL;DR -Pros: – Programmable Buttons – Detachable Magnetic Pieces – Wired or Wireless + Bluetooth Functionality – AffordableCons: – Another Software for Hardware – Buttons can be somewhat difficult to press – Lackluster RGBOVERALL, would recommend. Absolutely useless, don’t waste your money. If I knew about the design flaw, I would not spend $1 on this garbage. The keeps going to sleep and there is nothing you can do to stop it from sleeping!!!
