Excellent gaming PC for the price
Easy to set-up and ran Cyberpunk 2077 very well. This is an affordable gaming PC option. The computer runs quiet and was set-up very cleanly (all wires tucked away and zip tied). I ended up upgrading the RAM and installing a second NVMe. So far, I am very happy with this purchase.

Fantastic system, quality components
Back in the day, I built PC’s before there were system integrators and I really enjoyed being able to find the best quality products and put it together to my specs. There weren’t many big companies that made performing PC’s, and if there were they sold you proprietary designs that required their power supply, mainboard etc and made them not upgradable. I started down that path, needing to build a new PC to replace my 10 year old gaming system and after a full day of reviewing, landed on the Skytech Chronos II. I found it for $1799 around black friday and made the purchase.When the system arrived, I was pleasantly suprised at the excellent packing – the main unit was in a tyvek like black bag to protect it from scratching and the internals were well secured with expanding foam in bags, and some foam blocks.Checking over the components, I was happy to find (in my system) an MSI Nvidia card, on an Asus Mainboard, with TForce DDR5 ram. The case I believe is a lian li and the AIO is an enermax. All of the RGB components are managed through 1 management software, mine had SignalRGB pre-installed.First impression is that it’s a well built system, with nice cable routing and name brand non-proprietary hardware that can all be upgraded at a future date. The system ran flawlessly first boot and has endured hours of gaming sometimes 8-10 hours at a time playing at 4k, 1440p resolution with great cooling.The only challenge I’ve found has been with getting my sound for microphone adjusted properly and it’s probably user error. I also tried not using the antennae for wireless since I was not going to use it and instead plugged it in to my router and found that my bluetooth range was limited, unless I put the antennae on and then it was resolved (so go ahead and put it on!!)I’ll come back and update this review in about 6 months, once I’ve spent more time with it. So far – Highly recommended

Thoughtful Packaging
I have only had the PC for a few hours at the time of writing this, so take that into account, but it’s beautiful. The box arrives well protected, and there’s foam stuffed inside the actual PC protecting the components.This is my first serious gaming computer. Waiting on this Chonky Boy to arrive was like being a child waiting on Christmas morning. Santa did not disappoint. I’m super excited to get into all the different games I’ve always wanted to play. Setup was super easy, and the speed of the CPU is awesome.I can’t speak on longevity yet, but I can absolutely recommend it for people who need a strong computer. I love video games but I’m also going to be using it for online classes in college. This PC will have no problem doing both at the same time.Spend the money carefully, but rest assured this will be worth the price.

Been big gaming
For starters I’ve had this pc for about a year now. I have had ZERO problems with it so far besides storage, which is an obvious upgrade anyone would make with any prebuild but 1 terabyte is still good.And though it runs perfectly fine most video game heads would say increase the 16gb of ram. Honestly I have no regrets with this one. If you got the money it’s perfect. 20/10 highly recommend

Damaged
Arrived damaged. The GPU and AIO radiatior were both damaged at the builder. Either they damaged them during/after building the PC or it was built from used parts, but I did not order a used PC. It passed inspection at Skytech and was inspected at Skytech by “B” which must stand for Blind because anyone else could see it’s damaged. I’m not sure if this is standard Skytech quality or mine was a special build. Other than the internal damage, it was well packaged with the internal foam, external foam, and no damage to the box.The PC starts and runs as intended but the aesthetics were ruined by the parts used to build it.This is an issue with Skytech itself and has nothing to do with Amazon. Amazon shipped the package quickly and it was boxed neatly, no damage to the Skytech box nor the Amazon shipping box. The PC was tightly packed with foam and could not shift inside the boxes.

I received the PC, having it shipped to Guadalajara the box was beat up by customs as they wanted to inspect it obviously. After opening the box, everything was perfect, no issues to note besides the box itself being obliterated. Packed extremely well and tight to ensure nothing moved. Inspected the inside and only had to shift a cable that was blocking a fan from spinning.After starting it up, it had an issue with installing windows 11 and restarted mid startup and forced me to start again. Once I got in… this is where the fun began. Windows broke on the initial start up so I had no Start or Taskbar and no access to admin. It came with a bunch of programs preinstalled and all that sketched me out. After spending an hourly searching how to fix the Windows issues… I wiped the PC clean.That fixed every problem.Now I am running Diablo 4 Max setting with 200% 3D resolution and no issues. PC isn’t even running hot when it is 100+ F outside (33C+) and my house is sitting at 80 F.My advice, when you get it. Wipe it completely and you will have no problems. It runs like a dream on my 32” 2k at over 165 fps.At time of purchase the PC was 36,000 MXN, so roughly 3,000 Canadian.

It has Internal Cables Disconnected. I have no technical expertise to connect the cables. I am afraid to connect them and have no idea how to connect them since I do not want to damage the PC. There are a couple of cables inside of the PC disconnected and the PC is not running. This is the second PC – the replacement. The first PC had no Audio.I have to Return it Again! This time I am not replacing it but just returning it.It also came with no cables just the power cable. The first pc came with cables to connect to the monitor. This came with no cable to connect to the monitor so I cannot even connect it to the monitor even if I wanted to.

If I had to do it again I’d build my own PC. Had not experience building a PC but after owning this one for almost a year, I have experience now. Spent a couple hrs on chat with tech support. He thought I had a GPC issue, then a PSU issue and/or motherboard. Never the CPU. I upgraded the PSU to 1000W and new motherboard. Then I got the proper information when dealing directly with NVIDIA about the known issue with Intel’s 13th and 14th Gen chips. I’ve bitten the bullet and got a new AMD 7800 3d, new ram, returned the 790 MB to amazon and got a proper one for the AMD. My advise, buy local so you can return and get service without shipping your PC away. Canada Computers are fantastic!

Worked decently, the CPU bottlenecked the GPU, and would not have purchased if we’d known this. Now the motherboard is dead, but it was an AM4 and very out of date. Overall, not worth the money.
