A+Quality, A+ Price
Specs more than pass its price. i9 with similar spec parts for $500 is a steal. PC booted up like a rocket. Decent power that fits in the palm of your hand. I will follow up after some time has passed. But so far the future looks good.

Good performance for the price range
This mini PC would make a good little office machine. The form factor is (obviously) small, so can be concealed well to maximize desk space. It has a sufficient number of USB and monitor outputs for most situations. If you need more USB ports, you can always get a USB hub. Throughput on the 2.0 and 3.0 ports are as expected Interestingly, quite by accident I discovered that it has a built-in microphone somewhere. I *think* its the hole on the right side of the face, was unable to localize it. I’m not sure of the point of this, as I imagine most people would have the device hidden away so it wouldn’t get clear audio. But, it’s something to be aware of for privacy concerns – make sure it’s muted!Bluetooth connected fine to my keyboard and mouse. The built-in WiFi seems to be a bit week. It was only able to get half the up and down speeds as my phone, which I placed right next to the device. Yes, I ran the tests separately and multiple times with the same result. Don’t get me wrong, it’s plenty fast for most uses via WiFi, but it topped out at 200Mbps down and 150Mbps up. My phone in the exact same location got 500ish up and down. Connecting a cable to the ethernet port resulted in nearly full speeds. There doesn’t appear to be any bloatware pre-installed beyond what normally comes with Windows. I ran a few virus and malware scans after first boot, and they came back clean. Still, always follow basic security precautions when dealing with a pre-installed OS.I installed demo versions of standard productivity software and it handled the apps well. Videos played with no issues, so this might be a candidate for a home media center as well. At idle, it consumed between 10-12 watts which, given the beefy processor is pretty good. The included SDD and RAM are generic. Generic components have a tendency to either last forever, or fail quickly. Keeping a good backup strategy in place is a good idea no matter what components you have. SDDS and RAM are cheap enough to take a gamble on a non-essential computer like this.Overall, office use and casual home use with maybe a potential of becoming a media server or IP camera DVR are the primary roles I would use this for. At the current price of $409 (with a coupon), its a great option for people that aren’t playing AA or AAA video games.

FAST FAST FAST
So I was looking for a small unit after my produce computer failed too run my Roon Music Server and I figured maybe time to look a little around whats out there. So I came across this NUC unit and the memory and SSD is more than enough what I needed. I also like to mention I need a unit which easy could run a Linux based OS and even I was able to do that on the other computer I had it was a little cumbersome. Not on this one. 14 Cores blazing fast cataloged my music selection. Streaming to several locations in the house no problem while importing 100000 tracks.Highly recommend this for anyone looking for a media server or as in my case running a Linux based Roon Optimized Core Kit
