This camera car is great! The set up is extremely easy, you connect a few cables, you attach the camera with the 2 straps provided, and you set the monitor on your dashboard or on your window and you are ready to go! The cables are long enough so don’t worry if you have a long car. The straps make it easy to secure the camera to the headrest. I’ve had it for days now and once set it doesn’t move! The screen is large enough, great resolution during the day (in color) and at night (black and white vision). I believe the quality is well worth the price. I haven’t had any connectivity issues. So far a great camera for parents that want to keep an eye on their backseats (I have 2 kids/caraeats and can see both with one camera – placed behind driver seat but can see all backseat). Definitely a good purchase!

Great baby camera
After having this camera in my vehicle for several weeks. I absolutely love this camera. Easy installation and fast. The camera quality is good for what it is intended for. Having to adjust the camera angle so headlights from cars approaching at night don’t make the camera go in and out of night vision mode was the only thing I had to adjust. Would definitely recommend this camera to anyone and everyone!Would like it to compatible with my other camera monitor.

Great product for the price
The camera arrived quickly and packed well. Things that stick out when considering quality:- Camera has two straps instead of one to mount onto headrest. This guarantees the camera won’t wiggle.- Mount for the monitor has great suction. It also rotates and adjusts to the angle you need.- Camera is on a pivoting ball so that it can easily move the direction you need.- The cord provided is extra long so that you can install it in the rear seat where needed, but it also leaves you plenty of room to tuck the excess cord under trim if needed.Overall, the product is solid. I am very pleased with the ease of installation, use, and the low price. Great for new moms or old!

Great portable camera. Quick set up, very versatile.
First off, I can’t believe that this camera is so inexpensive. This system is a fantastic value for what you get. The picture is clean and clear, and the camera can see the entire backseat of my truck when mounted on either front seat headrest. The power cord for the camera is about 18 feet long, so it can be used in anything from a small passenger car to a large commercial van or RV. Sure, you can use it to watch the kids or pets seated directly behind you, but that long camera lead will prove useful in an RV, or vehicle with a 3rd row seat, or even farther away. Last year I drove 1100 miles with a cat in a cat carrier in the far back of my Honda SUV. I couldn’t see how she was doing so I had to stop frequently to check on her. I wish I had this back then, it would have been nice to have a visual on her that whole trip. Future trips will be less stressful with this system. Setup is easy, you mount the camera with the provided elastic straps, then connect the long cable from the camera to the monitor, then the power cable to the monitor. It takes a few minutes to do this and route the cable out of your way. If you are mounting it more permanently in your vehicle, the long cable is very thin and easy to tuck under the console, rocker panel mold and other trim pieces to keep it out of your way. Overall I am extremely pleased with this system.

I have a mirror that attaches to my rearview mirror to see my kids in the backseat. It’s not the widest. It was perfectly fine when I had just one kid, but with 2, I can’t really see them both. We live in a rural area so when we travel, it’s often long highway driving, not well lit city driving. During the night, I can’t see my kids at all with the little mirror I have-if they’re awake, asleep, playing-I have no idea.I saw this baby car camera and was intrigued. I received it just in time, I had a 10hr trip coming up.Super easy to install. I had peeled back the protective paper and was debating where to stick it and the corner caught and the whole thing just stuck. The adhesion is very strong-which is good, I’m pretty sure it’s not going anywhere, I don’t know how I’m going to remove it (maybe with heat?) but, I’ll figure it out when I get there.The wires are all very long so you have a lot of length to play with. We have a pickup truck and I still have extra cable from the back headrest to the front windshield. That said, I am using it for forward facing carseats, so if you had it on the backseat headrest for rear facing-I think you would still have plenty of cable length.The settings are so easy to access. When driving, I was able to adjust the brightness without having to remove the camera from the holder. Push a button, first setting is brightness- increase, decrease, done. When it was sunny or got dark out, the camera was always easy to view.The wide angle is great-I am able to view both kids at the same time and see exactly what they’re up to.I keep forgetting to turn the camera off when I turn the truck off-Luckily, it hasn’t affected the battery and I have had no issues there. The red light seemed pretty bright at first but it doesn’t distract me from driving.The camera monitor itself is a good size-I’m not squinting trying to view it and it’s not overly big that it takes up too much on the windshield or wherever else you place it.My only little complaint is that the camera is mirrored-I don’t believe it was like that when I first installed it so I’m sure there’s a button I pressed. If I can change this back, I will absolutely love this camera. But the mirrored image throws me off because I think my kids have switched spots in the back.Overall, I am super happy with this purchase, I will be ditching my regular toddler mirror and using this from now on.

I ordered this baby car camera, but I’m not using it for its intended purpose. Instead, I’m using it for our front door as security so I can see outside without having to open the door. Overall, it’s been working perfectly for that purpose. I could also see using this for many other things, as the cable that it comes with is 16 feet long. This would have come in handy when I was moving a trailer; I could have put the camera on the back of the truck temporarily to be able to see the trailer hitch while backing up.The only issue is that the screen itself does not mirror the image, which makes it a little bit more difficult since left is right and right is left. This is why it wouldn’t make a very good rearview camera, as everything would be backwards. However, for the trailer hitch, you could mount the camera upside down, which would make it a lot easier. You would just have to remember that forward is reverse and reverse is forward.Overall, it’s working well for our front door since our front door has frosted glass you can’t see through. This makes seeing who’s at the door much easier I took two pictures one with infrared which ends up being black and white and one with the lights on outside where it switches to color overall the image quality is good enough. I’m sure there are other uses for it as well.I would like to clarify that this camera is nowhere near 1080P and uses the old NTSC AV at 480I or 480P, perhaps even less resolution. This doesn’t matter too much as the screen is quite small, and it would be almost pointless to have a 1080P image on such a small screen. Overall, for the price, it’s not bad, and I can recommend it.I like the fact that when you plug it in, it only takes 2 seconds for an image to show up. This is great for my purpose, as I have an on/off switch at the door and can press it and see the person outside in two seconds. Overall, this is a decent camera for its selling price.I just wish they would state the real resolution instead of misleading consumers with incorrect specifications. I also took internal photos, and you can see it has AV1 and AV2 printed on the circuit board input. In fact, it has an extra pin for AV2, which is unoccupied. I’m not sure what would happen if I fed another video signal to it; perhaps it supports dual screens, or you can switch from AV1 to AV2.

Nice little setup for seeing the child & a step above a simple mirror. The trouble with mirrors is that you can’t see anything at night time. After a long intercity drive at night time, I figured it was time to look into a device like this one.PACKAGINGThe product’s packaged well. The instructions are very clear and supply enough pictures where you can follow what wires & parts of device to connect and how.The major components are the camera; the monitor; and wires & accessories.THE CAMERAThe camera is decent video quality. Enough for what it needs to be. The image adapts to the current lighting. The FPS on the monitor is decent, too.An interesting little feature is that you can snip a wire on the camera to reverse the image.The only aspect I haven’t tested yet is night vision. If I haven’t updated this review to say anything about it, consider it works well.There are settings on the monitor to adjust brightness, contrast, and aspect ratio (although with the size of the monitor, just 16:9 is appropriate).THE WIRES & ACCESSORIESThey include a wire to hook the monitor to the auxiliary power outlet. (You could also hook it up via USB cable, if you have one spare and the DC connector is taken up by something else. A USB cable isn’t provided, but I understand that the instruction indicates the seller might be able to provide one for you with proof of purchase.)I could see wires could get annoying for you or passengers, but in my opinion it’s on the user to figure out a proper cable management situation for this (I wouldn’t expect the maker of the device to do it). I’ve been able to tuck the cables away, running them through the middle of the vehicle, between the driver’s and front passenger’s seat.They provide a special stand for the monitor, so you can attach it to the windshield, or to the dash. The two velcros to hook up the camera to a headrest are solid quality.OVERALLOverall, very good, very practical, solution – just what it needs to be. Well-packaged and well-explained. Prompt shipping with no issues, as expected.I’m attaching photos showing what’s in the box, the camera, and the monitor when placed on the dashboard.
