Alot Of Cool Features
RK61 is a very versatile keyboard that can literally fit anyone’s needs. I personally used it for working and it is amazing. The plastic quality is good and the device is hot swappable so you can make it sound better or sound quieter. It is both compatible with 5 pin and 3 pin switches which is really good because then you have 2x more the options than a regular keyboard. There are also many different lighting options which are all really unique and fits everyone’s preference. One minor downside might be that there is no F row and no volume up or down but it is still usable but a little less convenient

A Good Minimalist 60% Mechanical Keyboard
I am pleased with this mechanical keyboard, especially for the price point. I purchased the keyboard a year ago for both work and gaming, and did not have too many issues aside from needing to learn the different key combinations. After about 9 months of use, the USB-C port seemed to become loose, and I started to drop connection when trying to use the keyboard in wired mode. I contacted Royal Kludge Official’s customer support to see what could be done, and they sent me a new keyboard, free of charge, to replace the one I purchased, and all within 3 days of me reaching out to them. I will say I did plug and unplug the keyboard once a day to switch from Bluetooth for my work setup to wired for my gaming setup, but I wasn’t rough by any means. Hopefully they can improve the USB-C port to be more durable to account for this. Overall, I am happy with the new keyboard and their customer service.

Great keyboard for the money, but please fix the key bindings!
Pros+ Great build quality+ Tactile. I like this non-GRB version more as it is more tactile than the RGB version with Gateron switch.Cons- Please disable the arrow mode by default. For a typist, /? should be the default instead being mapped to the up arrow.- Please change the layer switch shortcut (left ctrl + Fn) to something like Fn + CapsLock. Left ctrl + FN conflicts with Mac space switch shortcut key ctrl + right arrow (left ctrl + fn + right ctrl)- Mac mode is buggy. Fn + Menu is mapped to the left arrow (instead of the down arrow).- Battery is weak. As a coder, I needed to charge the unit every day if I used bluetooth mode.- Non-standard switch stem. I own two sets of cherry MX keycaps, they worked fine on my other keyboard with cherry MX clear switches. Both custom keycaps that I own feel loose on this keyboard.Final thoughts – I used the following settings on my Macbook pro 13” Catalina.+ In Mac OS – disable Fn and switch Cmd and Alt+ Fn + a to enter windows mode (had to use windows mode as the fn + menu in Mac mode is buggy)+ Fn + Enter to disable arrow mode- It’ll be a great improvement if we can map capsLock to `~ and maps capsLock to fn + esc. The point is that `~ is used quite often (` is used by slack to quote messages, ~ is used in mac command lines for home directory), while capsLock is seldom used.- It’ll be great if there is a key to disable the backlight.

Excellent keyboard
I am not a mechanical keyboard expert by any means. I wanted a 60% board to use with my laptop, tablet, and occasionally the game consoles. Build quality of the keyboard feels substantial, not flimsy at all. The key caps look great and I love the options for backlighting. I selected the brown switches, they sound great and feel great to type with. It does take some getting used to after only typing on a full size board but totally doable. Excellent starter keyboard to mess around with putting on new key caps or switches.ADDITIONAL NOTESomething to be aware of if you are going to be swapping out keycaps and switches – The PCB is NORTH FACING (backlighting LEDs are on top) instead of SOUTH FACING (backlight LEDs on bottom). This may limit compatbility with cherry profile keycaps because the orientation of the switch will not fully allow the switch to bottom out. I was not aware of this before ordering some new keycaps but luckily they were OEM profile. The most common type of keycap profile is cherry so you may be limited to what you can use!

A really good keyboard
I bought the RK Royal Kludge RK61 Wireless mostly for gaming but now mainly use it for typing. I was curious about how it would feel to play with a smaller keyboard since I saw some pros using some. However, I found it hard to adjust to the layout and I kept pressing the wrong keys, like ‘Esc’ instead of ‘1’. This is not a problem with the keyboard itself, but with my own fault. The keyboard has decent keycaps, but I would prefer to change them. I don’t use the wireless mode much, so I don’t know how long the battery lasts. The brown switches are nice for typing, and they sound even better after I modded the keyboard. I added some foam inside and desoldered the switches to lubed them and the stabilizers. The result was a very satisfying typing experience. I think this keyboard is a good choice for anyone who wants to try a 60% keyboard for gaming or wants to try and mod a keyboard for the first time.

I love the product you get a bang for your buck, and this is a hefty keyboard. There was no need to go and spend ton of money when the performance on this keyboard is just fine for everyday use.

it gets the job done i guess
you get what you pay for i guess. the switches are nice however i do suggest lubing them. Also the keycaps are sharp and feel super cheap might wanna order a better set. one of my biggest complaints is the unlabeled key binds like Fn + a or Fn + Enter if you forget what does what you look like a fool just holding Fn and pressing random keys to undo what you accidentally did. Also the link this seller has to the software i don’t believe is the correct software as when i download the software it doesn’t recognize my keyboard.

The price seemed too good to be true. Great little keyboard. It took my brain a few weeks to adjust to the smaller size, but now I am typing away. Wireless works great, light modes are really cool. The battery needs charged about every week with high usage. Great for a white desk/setup. Love the blue glow on this one.
