I bought two units and had to return it. Best keyboard I ever owned.
I bought 2 of these keyboards. Not because I love it that much but because the first ones battery stopped charging shortly after owning it and I had to keep it plugged in. That shouldn’t deter you from this keyboard though, as it didn’t deter me from continuing to own it. The keys are perfectly spaced, the switches are smooth and have the right amount of resistance, look great and the functionality of it is great as well. It has a dedicated calculator key on it that I ended up using very often and I loved it. I decided to buy the same one because I wanted to be wireless again and after buying the same one I had learned the first unit was just a dud, this one worked fine. I sadly had to refund this keyboard because due to new employment, I stay up all night on my days off gaming and my SO can’t sleep due to the sound, so I returned it before I become single again. Great keyboard for any use case, perfectly priced, and im sure my problem with the first unit being a dud is a one-off situation because I don’t hear of anyone having that issue. Buy this keyboard, you won’t regret it.

First and foremost the color scheme of white, red and black match my PC’s color scheme to the “T”. So needless to say I love the color.I usually do a lot of research on items before buying and this one was a tough one, not a lot of reviews outside of Amazon. However, I am so happy that I made the purchase.For the last 2 years I’ve used Logitech ‘s MX Keys (100% board). I made the purchase back then based off the reviews, and it made sense since I already owned the MX Master 3 (mouse). No matter how much you research into Logitech MX keys, nothing prepared me for the crap quality of that board. I don’t use a desk, my PC is in the bedroom thus (when in use) the keyboard sits on my bed. My bed is really low to the ground, I say about 3 feet up. After dropping it onto my rug a couple times, the entire thing came apart. So much for the metal finish, which is actually some sort of plastic that is made to look like metallic. Keyboard costed $120 before tax.Now back to the Royal Kludge M87. The build quality can be felt the moment you take it out of the box. This thing is heavy! Yes it’s a 70-75% board but it has some weight to it. I love it. I’m an 80’s baby that grew up with 90’s tech. So when I started to type on this thing the sound brought back so many memories. Not only does it sound great, but pressing onto they keys is highly satisfying. I plugged in the 2.4ghz dongle, scrolled through the menu options via the second wheel and clicked. BOOM! instantly connected. Works amazing! Started to play with the lighting options and man, this thing exceeded my expectations. If you like unicorn vomit, this keyboard offers it. However, I personally like 1 unified color and they have plenty of options to choose from. I am in no way shape or form a keyboard enthusiast. Meaning if you want something great that is just going to work out of the box, look no further! Royal Kludge offers mechanical keyboards at a decent price (that isn’t priced gouged out the wazoo) reliable and built to last.I never heard of Royal Kludge until recently when I started to research mechanical keyboards to replace my poorly constructed Logitech key board. I am so happy I’ve made this purchase. Best part of it all, I got it for $69.99 before tax. Logitech can kick rocks, my money will be going to RK if I ever find myself back in the market. I will highly recommend this to anyone and everyone looking for a mechanical keyboard!

The multimedia button are practically kind of useless. I didn’t have any chance to use them because mutimedia could be controlled better way with other buttons.The clork is getting faster and faster slowly. Doesn’t keep the right time.Otherwise I like it.

I’m a mechanical keyboard hobbyist and for the price this one is definitely worth it. Sounds great, looks great ,works great. Connectivity is never an issue and both knobs feel heavy and function well. I love typing on it too. It’s very comfortable and fun. Sturdy and much better than what I wouldn’t have expected from RK in a good way.

Great feel and sound, high quality build. Nothing feels missing from this, has everything you could need from a keyboard. The RGB is especially notable, being far more customizable than I thought – no software needed.Definitely pick this one up.

Very Stylish Keyboard
The keyboard functions and works wonderfully with no hitches or problems. The colors are adjustable through its little menu on top, though my only gripe would be that if you set up the keyboard to wired and have it plugged in then you’ll have to unplug and plug it back in. Not a big deal by any means but something I’d bring up incase anyone else thinks the keyboard isn’t functioning when it does.Another thing I’d bring up is that you can have the little menu on top the keyboard have the time but it won’t do it automatically and has to be manually adjusted. A little annoying, but again not a big deal.With the wide variety of options, colors and modes that are supported I think its worth the price but that’s my opinion seeing as this is my first “expensive” keyboard and enjoy using it.

Excellent keyboard to buy
Loved how the keyboard felt and sounded. I also liked how there is a display that includes changing between Bluetooth mode and USB-cable mode. The downsides to this is that the Backlight LED is pretty mid, which doesn’t really bother me. Overall, I think it’s a solid keyboard to buy.

I purchased this keyboard because it looked nice and the reviews for the most part had been great. I loved the feel of the keys ( even though I added my keycaps ) and all of the features that came with the knobs were FANTASTIC. However, today it was showing the charge to be 0% even though it is always hard-wired to my desktop. It won’t work and keeps showing the LED with 0% charge. It makes me sad and I suppose I’ll have to look for a different keyboard.

This is so satisfying to type and game on. It just feels so nice.Looks. I love how this looks! Everyone who sees it comments on how good it is!The ok stuffDespite its great quality it is not quite as polished as some main brands. You are able to control most things through the keyboard interface itself, but you will probably need the software if you want to dive in. Getting the software felt a bit dodgy. There is specific software for each model so you had to really search for the right one. The software itself is fine. It functions. It has the parts you need. It just feels a bit clunky.Battery lifeAgain. It’s fine. I am recharging at least once per week. Half the time I just leave it in usb mode rather than wireless to avoid the hassle.Overall, nothing bad and lots of good/ great! Would definitely buy again.

C’est la première fois que je prends un clavier de ce style. Avant, j’étais sur le Razer Ornata V2 (méca-membrane). Le retour sonore des touches n’était pas top, mais avec ce clavier, je suis extrêmement impressionné ! La réactivité des touches est un régal, je passe des heures dessus sans jamais me lasser.De plus, les boutons molette sont très pratiques et facilitent énormément l’utilisation du clavier. Les touches pour mettre pause, revenir en arrière ou avancer sont bien utiles, que ce soit pour travailler ou jouer. Je l’utilise énormément pour taper mes cours à la fac.Le bruit des touches est certes ultra satisfaisant, mais le problème, c’est qu’elles font beaucoup de bruit ! L’écran est un petit plus sympa : vous pouvez y mettre un GIF via l’application dédiée (il faut bien télécharger l’application spécifique au clavier, sinon ça ne marche pas). Il y a déjà des GIFs préinstallés, mais personnellement, j’ai mis celui de Luffy Gear 5 !Concernant le design, les couleurs rouge, blanc, or et noir ne plairont pas forcément à tout le monde, mais je trouve que ça reste original. Niveau prix, je vous l’accorde, il est assez cher, mais il vaut le coup : le rapport qualité/prix est bien présent.Autre gros point fort : vous pouvez connecter le clavier sur plusieurs supports en même temps (téléphone, PC, PS5, etc.), et il fonctionne aussi bien en filaire qu’en Bluetooth ! Les deux modes marchent parfaitement.Enfin, le RGB est incroyable, avec plusieurs styles différents que vous pouvez modifier directement sur le clavier ou via l’application. Pour moi, ce clavier est parfait et je le recommande à 100% !✅ Points positifs :Réactivité des touches excellente.Boutons molette et touches multimédia très pratiques.Écran personnalisable avec des GIFs.Connexion multi-supports (PC, téléphone, PS5).Mode filaire et Bluetooth au choix .RGB personnalisable et impressionnant .❌ Points négatifs :Bruit des touches assez fort.Prix élevé.Nécessite l’application spécifique pour l’écran.

Great keyboard.Good switches, good sound of typing (I got with white switches).But I don’t like the rgb backlight. In that variant top side of switches is not transparent. That means if you have special keycaps for cool light effects then you will be little disappointed. But you always can swap built in switches on something else. So I think it is not an issue, it is just a specific feature.In addition: I read some comments about battery failure. I have not faced with it

Also ich bin echt selten direkt begeistert, meine alte Logitech TKL hat langsam den Geist aufgegeben und nach ein bisschen Recherche fand ich Creamy Switches, mir war ja klar ich muss so eine Tastatur haben.Nur ist der Markt dafür leider gering, entweder man baut sich eine selber und bezahlt 200€ Aufwärts oder man findet die Tastaturen von RK Royal.Ich hab mir zuerst die RK ROYAL KLUDGE R75 gekauft, aber schnell zurückgegeben weil mir das Layout nicht ganz zugesagt hat.Im Black Friday Angebot dann die M87 für knapp 100€ geholt.Ja und was soll ich sagen? Die Tastatur ist einfach der Wahnsinn, was ich für 100€ hier geboten bekomme, das bekommen andere Anbieter nicht einmal ab 150€+ hin.Die Creamy Switches sind natürlich das Highlight der Tastatur meiner Meinung nach, der Sound der beim tippen entsteht ist sowas von geil.Die Keycaps wirken super verarbeitet es lässt sich super darüber tippen.Die Tastatur hat ordentlich Gewicht, wirkt nicht wie eine billig Tastatur und verschiebt sich nicht so schnell. (Man kennt es vielleicht aus dem Büro auf der Arbeit wenn billig Logitech Tastaturen mit 20g mal eben – übertrieben ausgedrückt – über den Tisch fliegen)Nachdem Anschließen via USB-C muss man einmal im Menü an der Tastatur den Connect Modus auswählen, man kann zwischen 3x BT 1x 2,4GHz und USB-C wählen.Die Multimedia Tasten funktionieren direkt nach Plug&Play – wobei ich selber nicht wirklich oft solche Tasten verwende.Das Display ist ein netter Zusatz, man kann über das integrierte Menü auch die RGB Steuern, Muster/Farbe etc.unterm Strich muss die Tastatur jetzt nur noch den Langzeittest überstehen, aber bis jetzt absolute Kaufempfehlung diese Tastatur ist jeden Euro Wert !
