Faranga needs a new hero – will you heed the call? Delve into the gritty and atmospheric world of Risen, where every action has a consequence. A mysterious volcanic island. The island of Faranga’s heavy tremors bode ill for its inhabitants. A powerful group calling themselves “The Inquisitors” have made it their quest to put an end to these events. They send an expedition to Faranga, but a ferocious storm takes hold of the ship and destroys it at sea. A hero will come. Miraculously, you survive the shipwreck and are stranded on the volcanic island alone. You find yourself caught amidst rebellion, tyranny, and mystic rituals. Not a remake, nor remaster albeit complete
First and foremost, this is decade plus old game along with all the content that it includes. Now Risen is actually a trilogy ARPG series from the long dormant Gothic series. Shipwrecked in a dangerously island you must find whatever you need to survive while making alliances with the locals.

This game is outdated, boring, and clunky.Story is weird and not engaging.Horrible graphics.Combat is slow and uninspired.They should of did a real remake or improved sequel. Waste of money.
