If you’re like me, you spent at least a few months back around 2001 playing the Gameboy Color game Dragon Warrior Monsters 2. As you’ll recall, it was a lot like the early Pokemon games but with a shorter and way less compelling story but a really neat mechanic for breeding monsters and building a powerful team of subservient beasts. It also had a really time-intensive slog of a grind that was super-fulfilling and which you’ve been missing for a few decades. You’ve tried playing Disgaea games or the Pokemon stuff, but it just didn’t do the trick.Now, if you’re not like me, maybe you still have a Gameboy Pocket and the DWM2 cartridge somewhere and you could just fire that sucker right back up. Me and the rest of us, though, we need an emulator and this is NOT the kind of game you want to sit in front of a PC for, so you find this sweet Gameboy-looking thing that can play all kinds of old games that bring you comfort in a time where you feel like your country and the world might be going to pot.I’ve read that the SD cards that come with this crap out on you and I hope that doesn’t happen because I’m a luddite and may never figure out how to ‘flash’ firmware onto a high quality card. So far though, it’s been working like gangbusters. The screen is gorgeous and vibrant. I’m having zero problems running Gameboy and PSP games and haven’t had any trouble finding PSX games to load up on this bad boy. I even got to show my son the first Mortal Kombat the way I first experienced it. It seems to work great for Super Nintendo and NES and Genesis games – I don’t think it can handle PS2 or Dreamcast or N64, but what do I know?Anyway, this thing is really cool. The battery life seems to be really reliable. I’m having a blast with it.

Says it comes with a protective case. It doesn’t. Contact customer service. They assure new shipment will come with case. It doesn’t. New device arrived, but does not hold a charge. And once again did not receive a protective case. OK I’ll send it back. Nope no refund. DO NOT BUY. REPLACEMENT THEY SEND HAS NO CHARGE CAPPABILITY. also they say it has ps3 CAPPABILITY nope, all that it is is the loading screen and then the menu which you can’t press a single button on the device to make the game start. 90 dollars down the drain.The old games I’ve tried work, but it’s overpriced dog water.

Hard Facts: Hardly Runs DS Games
I’m going to give this device some hard facts. The build quality is amazing but this device can hardly handle DS games and for 80 dollars is unacceptable.

Everything came in as described in quality condition. The handheld arrived in a nice hardshell case protected inside the box. Also, it came with a charging cable, a screen protector (which I did not use because the screen is slightly curved on the outsides), some wipes, and a manual. Games on the gameboy, gb color, and gb advance look stunning! Battery life is good as well, maybe 6-8 hours depending what performance you set yours to.However, I would caution using the stock SD card it comes with, as others warned of their save files being wiped. I never confirmed this myself, but I’d rather not risk it and decided to purchase a SD card from a reputable brand. There are many videos on youtube or posts you should read up on when flashing your new SD card and adding your games, which is a simple process really. Don’t be intimidated! I’m personally using Knulli as my OS and highly recommend that as well. Great product overall!
