Retro Game Console Usage Steps
1. Set the TV to HDMI mode.
2. Insert the handle receiver into the USB port of the game console.
3. Connect one end of the USB cable to the MICRO USB port of the Retro Game Console, and the other end to the 5V-2A charger. Check whether the blue LED on the Retro Game console is on.
4. Connect the HDMI extension cadle to the HDMI input port of the TV, and then connect the HDMI extension cadle to the Retro Game Console host. Check whether the game interface is displayed on the TV.
5. Insert two 3AAA batteries into the handle and push the switch key on the handle to the ON position. Check whether the LED light on the handle is on. Wait 10 seconds for the controller to connect to the game console.
6. Control the game by pressing the buttons on the handle.
PLEASE NOTE:
Q: The handle cannot be connected? Can’t control the game with the controller?
A: Try to unplug and plug the handle receiver again. Try turning the handle’s power switch back on. Check whether the handle battery is discharged?

It looks like a lot of fun but I had to return it.
I was so excited to play the games. I was able to connect up the unit to the TV using the HDMI and USB cable. I was also able to navigate the menu system with the controller with no issues. The problem however came when I launched the games. The controller simply wouldn’t work in the game. I tried both Arknoid and Arkniod Doh. While I could exit and enter the game, pressing the buttons on the controller would not move the paddle. I tried all buttons and it just wouldn’t work. I also tried several other games and simply could not get the controllers to work. I am very disappointed as there are so many games from my childhood that I wanted to play. So I am only giving 1 star because of my very disappointing experience. I will be returning the game.

Pleasantly Surprised
I have been wanting to get a retro game stick but read bad reviews on a lot of them. This one had decent reviews. It delivered on time, in good condition with all items listed. I was surprised it came with an SD card. I had a connection issue but looking at the Q&A provided helped me determine I wasn’t using the right power block. Once I used the correct voltage 12v 2A it turned on no problem. Two reasons for four instead of 5 stars are: 1 as others have said the HDMI/power cords are short. 2 there are a lot of duplicate games as there will be a US, JAP (ect) version. That being said there are still a lot of games! I also received a follow up email from the company (through Amazon)letting me know my item shipped and asked if there were any issues, to contact them if so. Overall happy with this purchase.

No good games!
The idea of this product is great, but it really just wasn’t worth the money. It’s hard to navigate. A lot of the games are just previews and don’t really let you play. It is missing a lot of the more popular games that we were looking for!

Not the games you think.
Sure there are some games you will recognize. The 25000 number is exaggerated because all titles are on there multiple times. It’s more like 1000 games. Maybe. No super Mario. Waste of money. There are better options.

There are a couple known games, no Mario or sonic anything, most games just don’t run real wel!They claim 25,400+ games but there are only 2600 game, in various languages,most of them I have never ever heard of!!Don’t expect any good games besides pacman.

Worth it for the memories alone
Throw back games to play with my kids. It’s great fun. No problems yet but there are so many games it can be hard to find what you’re looking for. That’s not all that bad though because you rediscover games you completely forgot. It’s not great quality necessarily but I can’t complain because playing the games with my kids and laughing about graphics and all of that had paid for the thing. It’s absolutely worth it just for those memories. Set up is super simple, plug in to HDMI port, and done.
