Smooth and quiet
Let me preface this, I’m not a keyboard officianado or expert. My only comparison is the Asus Matrix ROG with brown switches. In hindsight, I probably greatly overpaid for the Asus. This Redragon with red switches and insulating foam is a real winner at its price point. It’s smooth, quiet, well built and gorgeous. Comes with a full set of alternate key caps and several extra switches to swap out a faulty one. 19 light patterns available without even loading their software… Which some reviews mention is questionable. I won’t be installing the software, this is going on a work computer. Glad it’s not necessary. I’d be hard pressed to find a better value keyboard for $40.

Heavy, quality keyboard – Worth it!
Got this keyboard for work. It’s heavy and sturdy. The key sound is really good. Not too loud but solid and creamy. Comes with an entire extra set of keys, extra switches, the tool to pull the keys off. I am very happy with this keyboard. Lights up nice. Font on the keys is industrial looking. RGB gamer light patterns, brightness, 19 different patterns, and then some… definitely would buy it again!

REALLY nice keyboard for the money.
I have a number of keyboards that I’ve bought searching for the right amount of “clicky” and this one’s perfect. It really feels solid, and the mechanical keys are good. It’s a solid chassis too, no flex to this board. The LED’s take some getting used to, you can do all kinds of customization from waves to solid, and can even customize the side lights. Since I’m using mine at work, I just went with a solid color. The blue seems to be the most visible in my fairly light office. If i’m working with lights off I’ll move it to Amber. It’s also super easy to work with the LED’s. Everything works off the separate Fn key. FN right arrow speeds up the pattern, Fn left arrow slows it down, etc. I would 100 percent advise keeping the manual though, without it, you’ll have no clue which Fn does what to the LED’s.it’s also super cool that it comes with an entire second set of keycaps in a dark grey, and it has several replacement switches in the box, just in case. I’ve got a very expensive mechanical keyboard at home that I lived with during Covid when working from home, and to be honest this one’s better. I don’t think you’ll find a better mech keyboard for this price.

It’s a new love, but a strong love.
I will start by saying that I’ve used Red Dragon stuff before. Years and years ago I had one of their membrane keyboards and one of their gaming mice. They performed flawlessly in all the time I owned them but I eventually changed color scheme and wanted to branch out so I tried a different brand keyboard and a Corsair mouse. I don’t recall the other brand keyboard, but it had an aluminum body and was fairly nice. Over the years though I was constantly swapping switches out and then the LEDs started to die off, and it just reached the end of its life cycle really.I came back to Red Dragon because I wanted a nice mechanical keyboard but I think the boards that cost $100+ are, frankly, silly. I did debate between this keyboard and some of the other “off brand” boards but this one had great reviews and I love love love the kind of old school style to it.I am so glad I went with this keyboard. The design is freaking gorgeous. It’s like a retromod done to an old IBM keyboard. The lights are certainly pretty, but I’m a basic fella so I already switched them over to solid white. They look great, and the light shines through the keycaps perfectly. There is also a sleek little light bar on the side of the board that I didn’t notice in the pictures but looks super classy. Speaking of keycaps, THEY GIVE YOU AN ENTIRE SET! So if you don’t like the color scheme that it comes with (as pictured) you can feel free to swap them out. They also give you some new switches for when these ones start dying off, I believe they give 8 of them, along with the tool to swap the switch and the keycap. On to the switches… Ohhhhhhhhh, boy they are GOOD. I cannot speak to longevity yet, and I will update when the first switch dies and I have to replace it, but initial impressions are so good it is unreal what this board costs. The feel is excellent, but the sound is where it’s really at. A nice, somewhat loud but muted thunk with each press. The board itself is all plastic, but don’t let that dissuade you, because it feels like a very high quality plastic. I think this board actually weighs more than the board it is replacing with the aluminum body, and they’re both the same style board. The legs are double adjustable and move into place with a loud click.Honestly so far, I am absolutely blown away by this board. I hope it lasts a long, long time because I do not want to get rid of it any time soon.

This keyboard is very impressive for this price range. The keys sound nice, not too loud, perfect for an office environment. I own a Logitech G513 with red linear switches, and this keyboard is slightly quitter. More of a clocky sound at the end of the key stroke, whereas the G513 has a louder linear snap. The keyboard came with spare switches and a full set of extra keys in another color option. All at a very competitive price. The build quality, in terms of materials is cheaper. But not something I can really complain about in this price range.I would recommend this to someone looking for an office keyboard upgrade.

Great keyboard. I have switched jobs and now type a lot more than I used to. I have used multiple keyboards over the years from small portable to apple specific. This keyboard gives you the finger response I like and the sound of typing not the dull thumping of modern keyboards but like old keyboards. Love the colour tones helps to find keys fast when touch typing. Very happy with my purchase.

Good keyboard, comfortable typing experience, it’s not very quiet but has a thoky and good sound, best part is that it’s hot swappable so you can choose your switch to get the sound you like without hassle.

After having parted with the excellent CM MK750 a couple years ago I bought numerous keyboards. This has to be the best since. Premium quality, feels great to type on, 100% layout and has the right options for lighting (I’m not a fan of the rainbow lighting and want something more calm). The only minor points of feedback are: I would like an armrest and the desktop software could be more user friendly. This is more than worth the price and great to use!
