Great keyboard for a good price
This is a great keyboard – compact, but still with a tenkey. There are so many keyboards that go the compact route but drop the tenkey and retain the f keys. I wanted to keep the tenkey, have the arrow keys, and get a little extra functionality, and this does all it claims to do.For me, the only drawbacks coming from a full keyboard are the placement of the 0 key on the numpad and the lack of a standard placement delete key – but compared to most other small boards where you lose the whole numberpad, this is a great balance to strike.I am already loving that I can adjust volume on the fly, and I have played a little with the macro keys which are very easy to set and reset, and they glow to indicate when a macro is active.Overall a great board. The keys are quiet and have actuation that is on the lighter side but still very satisfying and reliable.

Compact and featureful!
Keyboard is pretty small in comparison with full size, even more than I expected (which is great) and still no feature is left out, some are added to. Good for the price and good in general, very light and responsive keys, it comes with 90° cable. Don’t care about RGB, but it’s definitely there. No software needed. As a con, I would put: no dedicated Delete button, everything with delete needs more action now with FN key, letters are cramped so it takes some time to get use to it.

VERY nice keyboard but software complaint loses a star…
I love the keyboard; the size, the lights, and the switches…it all seems very nice. The issue is the macros. I have tried several keyboards and 1 thing I did not like about Redragon keyboards was the repeat limit of 255…well they fixed that on this keyboard at the expense of Macro length…. 12 key strokes. (press and release) not very long for me. you can get around this by daisy chaining macros, but come on.. you shouldn’t have to…. I will be returning and the search continues for my perfect keyboard.

Wow – Better than my Keychron K4 v2
This keyboard is a great deal for only $40. I was surprised that I actually like it better than my $80 Keychron K4 v2.I purchased this as my K4 has blue switches that are too loud for my office when I’m not working from home. The red switched and keys on this are significantly quieter so it works perfectly for my purpose. The Aluminum casing and programmable macro keys are nice touches. The only thing I’d change is adding Bluetooth, but for $40 it’s still a great deal without it.

Feels better quality than expected
No rattles, and keys just feel good. Usually buy brown switches but these reds are growing on me. Purchased a few red dragon keyboards now, this is probably the best one yet. Time will tell but so far so good.

Five days to a week with this
feels so so, not Very loud, but its Not quiet. Its cheap feeling, like a toy. The keys are cheap plastic and shuffle around a bit and gives you that sense that its cheap. The only positive side is, its size and can see the keys light through the characters .I didnt even read the manual and messed with the fn and other modify keys combined and theres a lot of colors to get, rainbow and solid colors, green purple white, or off. Seem bright and the letters appear bright and clear.Only concern is the paint wear off and the letters are illegible in time like my last lighted keyboard from different company.can find the software on their site, just search for the title wand or magic or something One annoying thing holding down Fn key to use the F1-F12 keys in a game that i use that a lot with. I dont know if there is a way to make it toggle behavior so F keys always active without Fn.if someone knows please write if you have done it.if you have very sensitive info some people suggest the software at their site has some hits on total virus scanner site. the volume thing to the right works. and i didnt use the pre defined keys because i didnt install the software i assume is needed for it.

It’s insane how good keyboards can be at low price points nowadays. I remember how the big brand keyboards all demanded over $100 for extremely flawed keyboards with questionable durability just five years ago.Yet nowadays we have glorious keyboards like this K655 that do not compromise. Mechanical Red Switches, Hot-Swap capable, a quality aluminum + plastic board with no flex, on board memory for Macro Keys, full RGB, a volume wheel, media wheels and a refined design for under $40 CAD? That’s just unbelievable, and no keyboard is beating that. It’s been a joy to type on this keyboard and when I had an issue with a key not working, Redragon took care of me as well.Seriously amazing, and an easy recommend!

The keyboard is not perfect, but it is a very good buy, considering the value it provides at the price point. I am not a big fan of the red linear switches it comes with, so I swapped the switches with Gateron G Pro 3.0 brown switches – and it just went from good to wow! I thought about giving it 4 stars but finally went with 5 stars because the positives easily outweighed the negatives. I am highlighting the pros and cons in detail, but as a summary – just go for it!Pros:- Unique keyboard layout with numpad, yet it has a very compact design.- The white and grey color combination is super sweet. The overall aesthetic of the keyboard is very beautiful. The Redragon branding is also subtle and not flat out on the face.- I am a big fan of the floating keycap design – RGB looks great and is always easy to clean.- Hot swappable sockets which can be changed with any 3-pin or 5-pin mechanical switches.- Nice engraved metal volume roller, which also functions as a brightness adjustment.- Dedicated media keys and macro keys.- Sturdy design with aluminium top plate.- Detachable L-shaped USB-C cable.- Decent RGB lights with no visibility issues for white keys in daylight. RGB transition is nice and smooth, having nice out-of-the-box effects.- No ghosting or noticeable input lag was observed in the games.- N-key rollover works correctly, with no missed keystrokes on multiple key presses.- Companion software is there. It is basic but gets the job done. It can perform individual key light customization, key re-mapping, macros, and others. Although most basic functionalities can be achieved via on-board key combinations.- Keycap legends are nice and bold, with good light shine-through. Although these are ABS double-shot, but still have decent quality.- The stabilizers are lubed, and the key press sound produced is a bit high-pitched but I like it like that.Cons:- This might not be an issue with the keyboard but can be attributed to the switches provided. Switches provided are red linear having Redragon branding. The bottom plastic housing is of very poor quality and will break with a little extra pressure when pulling out the switches. While pulling out the switches, the north-side clip does not easily release the lock. So be careful to properly grab and hold it with the switch puller before pulling the switch out. But Cherry MX and Gateron G Pro 3.0 switches were super easy to work with.- It would have been better if there was a little space on the left of the numpad block and around the arrow keys. Since all keys are tightly packed with the same spacing, it is sometimes difficult to hit certain keys like arrows and numpad without looking.- The cable is not braided and would have been better if it was a little longer. The USB-C port also has a very weird left-side position. Although it’s good that it is L-shaped but it would have been better if it was center-aligned.- The lights on the top rail macro keys, media keys, and lock indicators are red. It would have been better if they were white.- Only red linear switch version is available for purchase. It would have been better if brown and blue switch versions were also provided. It’s not an issue if you plan to replace them with something else, but it will be if you are not planning to spend extra.- Should have provided a dual keycap puller and switch puller. The plastic keycap puller will scratch the keycap surface.- Keyboard inclination is not good as only one level of keyboard inclination can be done with the small riser feet. At least two levels should be given.

Fist time buying this brand, first time buying a mechanical keyboard, definitely not disappointed! The build quality of the keyboard feels solid, with a decent weight to the base, meaning no slipping on a bare desk. The compact nature means I am hitting the wrong keys frequently, but I am improving as I get used to the layout, using only full sized keyboards up til now. The lighting is top notch, with simple keyboard shortcuts to cycle through settings, meaning I don’t have to download ANOTHER software for a single peripheral, HUGE PLUS. The switches feel good, and it even comes with some spares and a key cap and switch pulling tool, although I haven’t needed to use them yet.My only gripes are that the supplied USB cable is very short, and the only port is on the left side of the keyboard, meaning it isn’t quite long enough to have the keyboard Sat exactly where I want it on my desk. Additionally, the keyboard is in AMERICAN QWERTY layout, meaning the @and ‘ keys are in the wrong place for my UK brain. There were no supplied swap out key caps either, which is a shame.Overall, a very happy purchase, I don’t think I will need a new board for a long time.
