Great with one downside
This is my first adventure with a one handed gaming keyboard. I’ve used it playing one game, Subnautica. So far it has been great for gaming. I was able to figure out how to control the RGB fairly easy. It’s not apparently obvious that you need to plug it in and install the software to really control the keyboard lighting and bindings and such. For the game, it was good to go out of the box. Subnautica doesn’t really use specialized keybindings. Pretty uncomplicated. I got some pudding keycaps from Redragon and changed some of the keycaps to make certain keys even easier to spot quickly.The one downside I found was when I was using it to control media volume. I pretty easily assigned two of the G macro keys to be volume +/-. The space bar would play/pause, super easy. My problem happened when I was kicked back in my recliner watching YouTube on the connected flat screen.Let me set the scene. I am recovering from a foot wound and have to keep it elevated as much as possible. So we put wheels on my desk (it’s an adjustable desk from IKEA, very simple desk… I love it!) so I could move it around. We moved my recliner into the area so I could kick back, raise my desk up and pull it up to my chair mostly. So I sit with my feet up but still under the desk. The desk is still far enough back that I can’t reach the desktop easily. I move the keyboard to my lap for easy control and the mouse to the arm rest. My old corded keyboard could reach, so you have an idea of the distance.Anyway, when this keyboard is in my lap or just off the desk, it won’t work. It loses connection with the dongle. I have found that even if there is something between this keyboard and the dongle it will lose connection. If I had a different arrangement, this would be a deal breaker. I have a gaming laptop which sits on the desk with an attached flat screen as a secondary monitor. The dongle for this keyboard is plugged into a USB multiport adapter. Not hidden behind anything. The USB port is on the right side of the laptop and the game keyboard is used left handed but usually sits in front of the laptop so I can use my left hand and be comfortable positioned in front of the flat screen. So mostly to the middle/right of my desk. In one photo you see my desk with this keyboard on the right, between the laptop just under the left edge of the monitor is the USB multiport where the dongle is plugged in and then the mouse over to the right. In the second photo you see a corded xbox controller blocking the USB multiport. That is enough to disrupt the connection and keyboard will not work. An no, the controller is not plugged in, its just sitting there.So all that is to say If I had a desktop that sat under the desk, this keyboard would be unusable. Otherwise I’m completely satisfied with it and the Redragon pudding keycaps.

Love this!
I use this to play games on my laptop while I’m on the road, I don’t want to take too much with me and this fulfills the role that a gaming keyboard would fulfill. Very easily programmable, and the button clicks aren’t too loud at all– they’re roughly quieter than the button clicks on a laptop.

ESC key a bit far away
PROSOverall, I like the keyboard, and once I get used to the layout of keys it should serve its purpose. The materials and construction are good quality. The keys feel good. Ot is wireless. Charging is easy, with USB C. I like that you can use Bluetooth or the wireless dongle. I like yhat the wrist paf is removable and connected with magnets.CONSKeys are a bit tight and angled weird when placing wrist on included pad lined up with pad.The ESC key is way too far away. I use this key to leave menus a lot, and I can tell ot is going to cause RMI eventually. (Not ergonomic)There is no brail dot on the F key, so it is hard to find your place.Also, out of the box I only got a little slip of paper with simple instructions for programming keys to macros.But I couldn’t figure out how to just program a key to a single combo like CTRL+Z for example, so that I could hold these down. It only fires the macro once and uou cant hild down the key to keep the combo pressed. It triggers and done.I had to search the interwebs to discover they apparently have software as well, to program the keyboard. But their website is difficult to navigate (especially on mobile devices). Going to their Support link was sadly disappointing and inadequate.I will install their software now and see if I can’t get the keys to play like I want them to.

Gaming Keyboard
Very easy functional keyboard great for gaming. Has different profiles to switch between for different keybindings. Small and wireless so able to travel with easily or play from the comfort of my bed. Magnetic hand rest attachment which is really nice and makes it super comfortable to use for long periods of time. It has a nice small design with the lights that add a nice touch at night time.Only downside is if you keep the lights on while using it the battery life only lasts about 2 hours. Also its only half a keyboard so if you need to type better have a backup.

Great customer service
My first unit I received was bricked after about a week due to a software problem. I believe it was wrong software for the device. So verify you have the right software. The customer service was very fast. They walked me through some troubleshooting steps. Then when that didn’t work they sent me a new one next day. The unit is very nice and works great when working. Very handy to be able to use it with dongle, with bluetooth, and wired.I got the blue switches. The are very clicky.

I’ve always had agood experience with redragon products and this keyboard is no different. The layout takes a day to get used to but now I prefer it to a normal keyboard. I find my hand sits more natural using this keyboard. Has 5 macro buttons that work well for rpg games tho it can be a pain to program them because the software isn’t the greatest.Redragon customer service is also good. I bad an issue with the battery and they replaxdd the keyboard without any issue. Between this and my other 2 redragon keyboards that are going strong almost 8 years now this is a brand that I trust to give good value for money.

I alway have fight with crashing my mouse into my keyboard and needed a smaller keyboard. After some research i found the Redragon k585 Diti. The space key was to far away for me after a modification it is great. Swapped the red switches for yellow one’s and changed the keycaps for a great part because i did not like the original one’s except for the macro’s. with the software u can change every key into something u like, so the p is now space also to create a bigger bar seen on photo. I play GuildWars 2 and can do everything with my Redragon k585 and Razer Naga X. I am gonna buy another one soon before they sell out!!

Die Tastatur Funktioniert soweit (Windows 11), ist im Handling gut. Das schlechte an ihr ist die Software ist von 2021 und erkennt sie nicht! Das die Programmierung von Macros ist extrem Frikelig, wie man Programmiert muss man selber rausfinden da es kein Handbuch gibt. RGB ist ein Witz, da man es mangels Software ja nicht Steuern kann. Im großen und ganzen ist die Tastatur ohne die Software und den Mankos eigentlich nicht mehr als 19,99 Wert!Lasst die Finger davon zu teuer für die Einschränkungen! ACHTUN AUCHTUNG WEITERLESEN !!!!21.01.2025 Der Verkäufer bzw. der Support haben mich Kontaktiert, sie boten mir einen Umtausch an. Da ich aber keine Hardware Probleme habe sondern nur Software und eigentlich mit der Hardware Funktion fin bin lehnte ich das ab. Mit dem Hinweis das es doch viel schöner wäre wenn die Software in Zukunft Funktionieren würde.Nun ist aus der ein Sterne Bewertung, eine 5 Sterne geworden! Warum: Der Support hat mir eine Software zukommen lassen die sofortig Funktioniert!
