I appreciate the simplicity
These are about as straight forward as you could get with Xbox battery packs. These are basically 2 AA batteries taped together with a special Xbox back plate on one end. IE, its flat but has the straight line in it so it can fit comfortably within the controller bay. These dont have the typical prong receiver piece that every other battery has. Not sure what youd call it, but it like 4 prongs or so? Whatever it is, these dont use those. Overall Im very happy with these. I honestly couldn’t tell you the battery life, I play in shorter bursts, maybe an hour and it challenging to track the time my kids use each controller. I will say Ive had these for a few weeks now and Ive only had to recharge the lot of them just once.

Small But Good, Yes Good
I got tired of buying controller batteries and saw these and a reasonable price. They fit the controller with little to no force and worked great. As with any battery, be careful with how you handle it. We haven’t run into any problems. I just wouldn’t take any chances. The plastic seems like it will take a bit of abuse should there be an accident. Don’t push your luck though. Due to their size they don’t last as long as I like. I have another set that is rated twice as high. I didn’t realize these were that much smaller. In reality, that is my only complaint. Otherwise, absolutely excellent.

Great Product!
This rechargeable battery pack and the docking station is a great product. It comes with four rechargeable batteries, the charging/docking station, and a USB C to USB A cord. The batteries can be placed in the charger frontward or backward and it still works. When the batteries are charging there is a red light, and when they are fully charged the light turns green. They charge pretty quickly, too, and stay charged a while depending on your use. It is so convenient to have backup batteries ready to go when needed and not have to go looking for spare AAs! Just keep swapping out the batteries, and you’ll never run out—great for group games. I definitely recommend this Xbox battery charger!

Very easy to use
Many chargers have a specific way the batteries need to go in, so half the time you get it wrong. This makes it simple, you put the side in that looks like a battery and you can put it in either direction. In the picture I put two in one way and two in the other way and it worked perfectly. There is clear simple lighting that lets you know the battery status.It doesn’t come with a plug, but you can put it into any USB charging system. Just plug the USB C into the charger stand and the cord that comes with it has USB A on the other end, but I also used a USB C to USB C cable with no issue.The batteries say they are 2,800 mAh each which gives more time between changing them. I have not made a head-to-head comparison, but it would be hard to be specific as it varies based on how much vibrations are done.Overall, an excellent battery charging system with high-capacity batteries.

Eliminate the Need to Search for AAs for XBox
We have a few consoles in the house, and I got one of these packs earlier for my own, but my kids kept stealing my battery packs. Now I got this for them so they can have their own. Thankfully, the packs differ from the previous ones I bought, so mine stay upstairs now while these stay downstairs with theirs.This is quite an eloquent solution to batteries for the XBox remotes. With 2 being used, and a place to always have 2 charging, they never run out of batteries anymore as they just get swapped out when needed. It’s very convenient to have them accessible right by the TV, so they’re quick to grab and you know the replacements are always charged up and ready to go.The battery life is good – each one will last a few days before needing changed with a lot of play. They charge quickly also.

I should have bought these years ago
This is one of the lowest cost solutions to add rechargeable batteries to your Xbox controller. If you don’t want to invest in rechargeable batteries for your house and just want something dedicated and accessible, this is a great choice. The dock connects to the Xbox (or any other usb-a port) so it’s convenient to setup. The batteries will charge facing either direction also, which is nice. I’ve easily spent 4-5x the cost of these in normal single use batteries at this point, so if you’re on the fence, just get these and never look back.

works, but with some complaints
The good:The basic functionality of this device works. You insert the batteries, if they’re not charged, a red ring illuminates. Once charged, a green ring illuminates. Take that battery, put it in your Xbox controller, and it works.The less good:The batteries have a notch, when inserted into the charger a little spring clip pops into the notch to hold the battery in place. A couple of these spring clips work fine. A couple others do not (I assume they are not protruding far enough) and the slightest jostling of the the charger – including just removing a battery for use – will cause those batteries to pop up and stop charging until you reseat them.The LEDs on the device have what I assume is supposed to be a pulsating effect, but it’s implemented in such a way that it looks like the device is having an electrical glitch. It’s more of a flicker than a pulsing. I can’t explain why it’s so unsettling to me, but it’s unsettling to me.Finally, if I pop out a “green” battery, and then pop it back in, sometimes it is “red” for just a couple seconds, and then goes back to “green”, which is what I’d expect. But sometimes it goes “red” and stays red for.. I don’t know how long. An extended time. Is the battery overcharging? Why is it doing this, and why is intermittent? I’ve also seen the opposite – when I first received the charger and was charging all the batteries for the first time, they were naturally all red. One popped out, I popped it back in, and green! Tried with one of the other batteries, same thing happened. I unplugged the device and plugged it back in – red again. Not sure what to make of this, but doesn’t inspire confidence.
