The best controller on the market, worth every dime!
I pretty much never take the time to leave reviews, but this has been one of those absolute game-changing (no pun intended) product’s for me, I felt obligated to share.Exhibit A: I have a lot of controllers… My kids and I are big gamers, so that comes with a lot of consoles. However, I think every one of these controllers shown except the solo wired (turbo) were purchased before the Wolverine V2s.Initially, I was a disgruntled purchaser of the PS/PC V2. I’ve always been an Xbox/PC/Nintendo player, but last year I decided to branch out and picked up a PS5. Immediately after turning it on and picking up the PS5 controller the first time I was in utter shock, the joysticks AREN’T OFFSET?! What kind of garbage, hand cramping design is that? I digress… So I immediately started searching for PS5 aftermarket controllers with offset joysticks, and initially all I could find looked like garbage with fairly negative reviews except the Wolvering V2, which I thought at $250 was just the most absurd price I wasn’t going to pay for a controller period, much less turning a $500 venture into PlayStation into a $750 one. After continuing to scour the internet for another decent PS5 controller at a “reasonable” price and coming up short, I decided to bite the bullet and just buy the V2 (hence the disgruntled). Now, I don’t think I’d ever spent more than $80 on a controller and that was for the Switch Pro’s, which I still thought was really pricey for a controller and I couldn’t believe I was spending over $100, much less $250???Exhibit B: I don’t know how long it took to ship, but let’s assume overnight. You can see it took me all of maybe 36 hours to decide I couldn’t go back to an Xbox controller. Even though the Xbox V2 was wired, which I couldn’t believe, I had been ruined for all other controllers. That covers my first 2…What was the single gift I told the family to chip in on for Xmas last year? A 2nd PS5/PC Wolvering V2 to dedicate to PC so the original could be dedicated to PS, after all who want’s to go through the trouble of moving a USB stick between the two?***Pros*** You’re just not going to top the quality of Razer. The product stands up behind it’s price tag. The additional programmable M1/M2 next to your Trigger/Bumper is so insanely comfortable to replace those high volume buttons or if you have more than 2 high volume buttons (looking at you Diablo) shift one off of your thumb for not just a more comfortable setup, but reduced mis-clicks. The programmable M3/M4/M5/M6 paddle buttons on the back are incredible for combo button needs (Stick those flasks in your pouch Elden Ring players and seamlessly be able to down HP or FP without drinking the wrong one again!).***Cons*** Price. However, if you’re someone that put your controllers through work and need to replace them periodically, this might not be as expensive as it seems as it will absolutely outlast any standard PS/Xbox controller… No turbo or macro capabilities. (PLEASE Razer, if you’re reading this, for the love of god release the Wolverine V3 Pro ASAP with Synapse support for Macros & Turbo!!!)***Potential Pro/Con*** This is not a “small” controller, it has *slightly* beefier grips than a standard Xbox or PS5 controller, designed (I assume) for ergonomics. It took a while for it to click for me, but I realized during those super-sessions my hands weren’t getting as stiff or sore. That being said, if you’re someone with really small hands that struggles with the size of those, say if you opt for the Joy-Con controller because the Switch Pro Controller is too big, this probably isn’t the right controller for you.Look, do whatever you want, I’m not your dad. But if you do pick one up and end up loving it as much as I do, I hope this review helped!

Unbelievable they tried to charge $250 for this controller
Razer should honestly be ashamed of this product, especially compared to the competition on the market like the Elite 2. The “6 remappable extra buttons” is just misleading and barely works with their crappy app (which is the only way to configure the controller, because why would they make it configurable using your PC…. its only advertised as a PC CONTROLLER).Build quality, feels like a knockoff gamecube controller where you arent sure if the button is even going to come back up after you press it. Everything about this controller was a major disappointment. If you expect any amount of quality because of the price you will be severely disappointed. The lack of REWASD support at all is just comical. Returned it after literally using it (and trying to like it) in under an hour.

I really wanted to rate this 5 stars…
But I can’t. I do love this controller and it’s great to not experience stick drift but there’s a couple things keeping it from 5 stars. I love that it’s both wired and wireless and also works on PC. I love the RGB and extra mappable buttons. I love that it’s licensed by Sony.I don’t love the missing haptics you get on the standard PS5 controller. Razer claims it’s because it’s a “Pro Controller” and pro’s don’t use haptics. That’s cool but why does this same controller for the Series X have it then?I don’t love that it doesn’t have the speaker seen on the standard controller. Although if I had a choice between haptics and the speaker, I’d take the haptics but here both are missing. So the last thing I really don’t like is the price. It’s two high to be missing the speaker AND haptics. The price would’ve been more justifiable with those features but without, it feels way overpriced. $250 is kind of insane when it’s missing two key features of a $70 controller. The Series X version is $180 (probably cheaper now) and at least that thing has the haptics. Although it’s only wired so maybe that’s the difference?Would I buy this again? Yea probably but not at $250.

Best Controller I’ve Ever Used!
I bought the Razer Wolverine V2 Pro Wireless Gaming Controller for my PS5, and I can confidently say it’s the best controller I’ve ever used!Previously, I was using a Scuf Vantage, which had a similar layout. While the Scuf was nice—especially because I could swap in standard DualShock sticks when they wore out—the build quality left much to be desired. The rubber on the Scuf eventually fell apart, which was frustrating for a premium-priced controller. The Razer Wolverine V2 Pro is a massive upgrade in every way. The buttons have an incredibly satisfying, tactile click that makes every input feel precise and responsive. The materials feel solid and substantial, giving the impression that this controller will hold up over time.Another highlight is the ease of programming the buttons via an app on my phone. It’s so intuitive and straightforward compared to the more manual, analog process of the Scuf.If you’re looking for a high-quality, reliable gaming controller for your PS5, I can’t recommend the Razer Wolverine V2 Pro enough. It’s worth every penny!

Not for big hands
Decent controller but not for big hands it can feel uncomfortable. Also the lower back paddle feels loose after just a few warzone matches. If you are looking for a PS5 controller the dualsense edge is definitely the way to go and cheaper with all the functionality of a true DualShock controller opposed to this 3rd party controller

I rebought the controller because of stick drift. I had the previous one for more than two years. However, this one had an issue within one month of having it. The bottom buttons (M5 & M6) got loose.
