Amazing system.
This is a large system, The speakers and Sub are big. You will need to have a good sized desk for these speakers and the floor space for the Sub. The cords are pretty long so you can move them around. Hooking them up was easy and pretty straight forward. The bluetooth works well with my Desktop PC and Macbook Pro.The sound that this system produces is amazing. the sound doesn’t come at you but it comes from around you. I tested this system with PC games, Youtube music from Eminem and Pink Floyd, Movies on Netflix and HBO. This system gets loud and the base will hit hard. I may buy a second set for my main TV in the living room. I don’t know if you could find something better for double the price. i feel you don’t have anything to lose with this system if you got the gaming area or entertainment area that can fit it.

An honest review from an audio snob
I was skeptical, but these speakers are pretty solid. Details below:PACKAGINGThat one reviewer’s point about the packaging protecting the tweeters – the packaging isn’t terrible. It’s decent, but he/she is right – the tweeters need some sort of protection so they don’t get damaged, especially when you’re removing the speakers from the foam. Also, don’t bump the tweeters, they are extremely fragile – that should go without saying.THE BEATS EFFECTAre Beats headphones good enough for you? Do you have $500? Buy this and plug it in and you’ll be blown away. You can play with the THX, Dolby or custom equalizer settings in the Razer app if you’d like but you probably won’t care enough. Are Beats headphones garbage to you? Are you a gamer? Do you have $500? Would you prefer to spend less than $1000+ on a new sound system? Do you prefer to have a 2-speaker desk setup and/or don’t want to have speakers behind you that you may accidentally knock over with your chair or body or whatever? These are a really great choice. The first thing you’ll want to do is go into the equalizer settings in the Razer app and change the equalizer to custom – and set all the frequency ranges to 0 (although for some reason, during one of the patches, they now save to all 1s… weird). Anyhow, do that. THX and DD (but especially THX) heavily modify the sound and any music with a significant presence of mids and especially highs will infinitely significantly better. It’s extremely tangible in gaming and in music like Queen. Also, make sure the bass boost isn’t too high for your tastes, unless you want to rattle picture frames.VOLUMEThese speakers get quite loud. No need to worry there. That goes double for the subwoofer. And the subwoofer is big and powerful.WARMTHIf you don’t know what warm sound is, skip this point. If you do, after normalizing the frequency volumes and turning down the bass boost in the Razer app, these speakers will lose their warm sound. They’re not quite as neutral or even cold as electrostats, but they’re definitely colder than more expensive Bowers & Wilkins. The sound is crisp. A lot of the uber-mainstream garbage pop/rap and (for those of you who are older than 30) your older 128-bitrate mp3s from the mid-late 90s don’t sound particularly great. Shower singing sounds pretty good until you remove the shower.DESIGNIt’s nice and pretty. And, it’s is less obnoxious than some of Razer’s other offerings.OTHER THOUGHTSI use After Effects and Premiere for video editing and motion graphics. I find wearing headphone cans for a long period of time tiring. These speakers (assuming you balanced the equalizer like I mentioned above) are actually pretty decent for it – more than you’d expect. It’s now been several months and I decided to do a written review here. I’m really quite happy with my purchase – because I was worried when I pulled the trigger. Assuming you don’t dent your tweeters, I bet you’ll be quite content with this product.

Returning for a Steelseries Arena 7
I like Razer, I have several of their peripherals ranging from a few of their mice to upgrading from their Huntsman Elite to a Blackwidow V4 75%m their Seiren V3 Chroma, and will be upgrading to their Razer Kiyo pro Ultra eventually as my Kiyo Pro is showing it’s age. Point is, I like the RGB goodness and to stick to a certain environment. So when I FINALLY decided to bite the bullet and get some speakers so as not to wear headphones all day (don’t get me wrong, I love my Audeze Maxwells, especially after having EQed em just right) and decided to get these over the Vs pros, the Steelseries Arena 7s, and the Leviathan V2 Pro.They came today and I was soo excited, I spent time carefully plugging everything up aaaaaand…….won’t power up. Nothing I seem to do powers it up. So when an audio friend was free he looked into it and asked if I had held down the button till it clicked. I admit I did not and tried, nothing. He then saw that this was a wide spread issue and talked me through a few solutions all of which did not work. The only one I did not do involved a screwdriver to the socket to force a discharge/power cycle, which I was not willing to do.So, in spite of liking their design, the idea of the synced RGB, and hearing how good the audio is when working, I will be returning these for a refund and getting a Steelseries arena 7. Why the 7s? My entertainment room is SMALL and have nowhere for the rear speakers so surround sound is kinda pointless. It is baffling though that this design flaw in regards to the powering of the speakers was never corrected over time and is still a wide spread issue to this day. Yes I know they have V2s, but I don’t care for the fact they’re not as aesthetically pleasing and that the tweeters are no longer separate. Could I go for the Leviathan V2 pro? Not really, as I have a 4k blu ray player where it would go and a low profile boom arm positioned over that so standard speakers it is.That being said, it really sucks that in my 4-8 years of owning Razer products that this is the first time their products have been unusable out of box for me. Heck, even SYNAPSE hasn’t really given me issues. But I guess my good fortune was bound to run out at some point….at least the Arena 7s are supposed to be very reliable and have great audio too.

I am very impressed with these. Watched all the videos, did all my research and ended up, grudgingly, pulling the trigger on these. Am I disappointed, buyer’s remorse?I can say that the people at amazon delivered on time, easy purchase and within 2 days vs 3 to 4 weeks at other places due to “Special Order” status.Razor, omg, thank you for building these! They actually bring out so much sound and things I’ve never heard before. I’ve got some Axiom M80’s that I use for listening to music in stereo in the basement but wanted something GOOD for my computer setup. This really brings out things that I never heard before on my previous set, harman kardon soundsticks 2, The Harman kardon’s did a nice job but was lacking something that these Razors just illuminate!Very impressed. And when playing these loud, crisp, clean, no distortion and thinking of getting a DAC as well, to see if that will make this sound even MORE incredible.Software is just amazing and I thought it would be gimmicky, NOT.5 Stars!! I love these, been only a week and I can’t get away from these unless it’s late a night then I turn to the SteelSeries Nova Pro Wireless (for XBox). If you got the money (pricey), they are worth it.It was a close choice between AUDIOENGINE A2+’s and these Razors. The AUDIOENGINE A2+ do not come with a sub and would have placed me over the 1000 dollar mark with the sub, so, I plunged into the Razor. You will not be disappointed!

Una fuerza súper imponente de volumen y un bajo muy capaz que apoyar esos graves que te dan los juegos shooters, muy muy satisfecho con la compra

First you have to remember these are built as computer speakers. I find myself adjusting volume, and changing inputs a lot! The sound how ever is clear, and you can make it loud! I have not managed to break them yet lol yet lol how clear are they? You would swear the person playing guitar was right in front of you (yes I’m aware this also depends on the quality of the recording) , and in games it gives you have bass you want from explosions. Now I admit I have not used these to watch film yet but my main reason for wanting them was for music / blue tooth / and multi line in. ( I’m using USB , Blue Tooth, and Digital ) plus the little dandy volume source puck is great when it works. Sometimes I find having to go in software on the lap top to select in the input but that normally fixes all issues. Also the phone app is a cool side option all be it because I sync with a set up of Philips Hue bulbs and light strips I rather control things from my desk top. All in all worth the money and the chroma lights I for me are just more Chroma on my desk ( and I have almost all the Razor peripherals)
