Pretty Decent
This is a pretty fun device that can run a lot of your retro childhood favorites. It doesn’t have everything pre-installed but it has a lot. Plus you can add more via Micro SD card.It’s about as large as a Gameboy Color, almost exactly actually. This actually lends further to the nostalgia factor.It emulates a lot of the very popular retro systems but doesn’t seem to have a bunch of power to compete at say PS2+ levels. But it can function at PSP and dreamcast levels.At the price it’s really hard to beat and seems really well built with a great screen and decent sound.I’m taking a star off because I’m having a hard time getting it to charge. It charges with the included charger and one or 2 others I plugged it to but it doesn’t charge with the majority of other chargers I tried, including the chargers in my car. This has been a real letdown and I’ve requested a replacement to see if it’s just my unit or if this is a universal issue.Apart from that this is a really great, fun system with great value for money and a good start into the world of retro gaming handhelds.

If I could give this zero stars, I would. I bought this console as a Christmas gift, and at first, everything seemed fine. But the moment the battery died, IT NEVER TURNED BACK ON. No matter what I did different chargers, outlets, resets nothing worked.Fine, whatever, I requested a replacement, thinking maybe I just got unlucky with a defective unit. But guess what? THE REPLACEMENT DID THE EXACT SAME THING. It worked until the battery ran out and then became a useless brick. Two times in a row?! This isn’t bad luck; this is just straight-up trash manufacturing.My kid never got to properly enjoy his Christmas gift because of this overpriced, non-functioning piece of junk. Absolute disappointment. Save yourself the frustration and DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF CRAP.

Got this for my son for Christmas, Both boys and my husband love all the games on there and enjoy playing them! Holds a decent charge about 4 hrs with constant playing.

Not a bad game device . A lot of games . Mostly work fine. But when cold or not shut off properly the game lags or has to be restarted but got for my kid on road trips and such . So gets the job done . But for avid gamer I’d give it a b minus

This will overheat and stop working within a day of using.Update: The seller reached out to me and is sending a new unit. I’m looking forward to receiving the console and will update here as soon as it arrives.

Worked well out of the box, with a decent selection of old ROMs. The included SD card is a no-name brand, so I ended up switching it out and following a YouTube tutorial by Joey’s Retro Handhelds on how to flash a new SD card with the ArkOS and ROMs from the Internet Archive. This OS is easier to navigate and allowed me to add games from our favourite plumber.A note that my machine used “Panel 4”, so I had to follow a different link on the ArkOS Wiki Joey linked to get the correct DTB files for the new screen. There is a link on the ArkOS – R3XS github page to a tool to check your screen number.

It’s what was described, I think I just expected more.4000+ games.Will be expanding to get nes stuff, lots of videos and article say to upgrade to a better sd anyways.Only 2.5gb left on 64gb card. So they did make of the best of what they had.Screen is pretty small to be able to see maps in the corners in some gamesUser interface is meh.
