Where seemingly every tech company is competing for your hard earned dollars, how does one choose what to buy? I suppose the choice comes down to 3 major things: price, esthetics, and brand recognition.I’ve had this PS5 controller charger for about a week now, and I love this little guy. It’s compatible with both the PS5 standard controller and the fancy PS5 Edge controller. For only $11.99 I get a single controller charger that matches my PS5’s esthetic, as well as my cooling fan dock. I’m still happy with my Rysker cooling fan dock, so I went with Rysker again for my controller charger. I like the single controller charger because I only have 2 PS5 controllers, and I only play solo. The controller it came with, and more recently, I bought the all black controller. I use one while the other charges. It charges from the bottom of the controller, not the top – which I really like. The controller is cradled just right to rest on the 4 springy prongs – its weight alone connects the circuit. The charger plugs into your PS5 console via USB port. It looks way better while charging (I’m not a fan of the inverted controller chargers), and you don’t risk wearing out the charger port on the top of the controller.The white sides glow RGB while the controller is charging and changes to blue when fully charged. I love this because it helps me make sure I’m not “overcharging” my controllers.

Small/basic charger station that looks great and works as expected
Tired of having a floppy cable hanging around, so finally got this charger station. Didn’t need anything elaborate, but wanted something that worked and looks nice. This does the trick.Basic packaging with simple/adequate instructions. Has a USB cable which fits into the port in the back of the PS5 just fine. Cable is long enough, but overall short, which makes sense. The charger station itself looks nice – white sides match the PS5 just right. I could do without the controller graphic on the front, but it’s fine. Unit is very small and small footprint, but seems very stable. PS5 controller fits in the cradle just fine, and the charging function worked as expected.Overall, if an inexpensive single controller charging station is what you’re looking for, this is perfect. Recommended.

Cleaner way to store and charge your primary controller
Ive found that my ps5 controllers spend a lot of time sitting on the floor of my movie room charging. This item gives me a more aesthetically pleasing way to charge. I have it plugged into the front USB-A port on the PS5 and it’s serving the dual purpose of storing and charging my primary controller. I think that’s really the decision point with this, because you can absolutely charge without this. If you’re looking for a neater way to store your controller while it’s charging, then I highly recommend this.
