I have two Xbox controllers that my oldest son is constantly leaving on. After buying these no more double a batteries. Thank god. These rechargeable batteries are great and have a fantastic battery life. They work great, easy to use and fits the controllers great. Definitely a good buy for the money.

These are excellent compared to rechargeable energizer batteries. I used them on my Xbox series X. They only go in the controller one way but once you get them in they work amazingly. The charge lasts longer than 8 hours (that’s as much as I’ve played in one sitting so far), and I charged them to fully charged. I love that it looks like lightning while it’s charging bc it’s helpful to know when the batteries are ready for use. Highly recommend to Xbox gamers.

Bought this for my son in law for a one stop place to charge batteries. The cool lights is a plus. Only drawback is it doesn’t come with a charging block, but able to use one from around the house.

Huge base, but looks good
I’ve been using alkaline batteries to power my Xbox controllers, but that was getting expensive and bad for the environment. Then I started using AA NiMh batteries, but the capacity is small and I have to recharge them often, plus managing a set of AA batteries with a charger is cumbersome. I was interested in this set because the battery packs are neatly packaged together instead of loose AA batteries, and the charging base looks really cool sitting next to my Xbox X. The charging base can charge both batteries at the same time, and comes with a USB-C charging cable but not an AC adapter. I plugged it into the USB port of my Xbox, and that seems to work just fine.Out of the box, the batteries needed to be charged, so I plugged them all in, and it took a few hours for them to fully charge. The charging well for each battery lights up green when a battery is full and red when a battery is charging. I can see the lights from several feet away, so it is easy to tell when the batteries have finished charging.The new batteries only go in one way but easy to figure out. Make sure the printed side that says “4800” is facing you, and the contact side of the battery goes in first, then the other end will just slide in. It won’t let you insert the battery the wrong way, so never force it.Overall, I like the extra capacity of these batteries, and they give a much longer play time. When the battery runs out, it is simple to swap out a fresh pack, making it very convenient. The charging base looks great and right at home next to my Xbox. The downside is the base is huge and clunky, and much larger than it needs to be. If you’re still using alkaline batteries, get this rechargeable set and you will never look back.
