Console Stopped Turning On! Amazon Replaced!
To whom it may concern;My PS5 stopped powering on a few days ago, before my birthday last week. It was so disappointing.I hoped it was the socket or that it would start working again wishfully but I had no such luck. It has been very disheartening as I thought hard about making this purchase having not owned a gaming console in over 10 years even though I was a very enthusiastic gamer growing up and people would praise me for my powers.As such I internalize the ambition of gaming professionally and creating content. I was excited to resurface these ambitions with the PS5 over any other console as the early models made an awesome impression on me and I wanted to try some of the games I saw being advertised like Street fighters, Dragon Ball Sparking Zero, and Ghost of Tsushima to name a few.The few weeks I was able to use my PS5 were amazing. I bought Ghost of Tsushima and Seikiro, although I hardly got to play them. I also bought and mostly played Kakarot since Dragonball Sparking Zero is still a bit too expensive for me right now.To have tasted what I was missing makes me miss it now that I don’t have it (Makes me think of that question: does it hurt more to never have something or to have had it and lost it?). I alerted Amazon and it looks like they are going to replace the PS5 thankfully, however, looks like that won’t be until March for some reason, in any event, it was a relief for now and I will keep this comment updated.Amazon’s Customer Service has been very helpful and nice in assisting!…So amazon sent the new one in just a few days! The only bummer was my shipping company delayed it and I had to pay customs again :(Amazon Customer Service must get another kudos regardless! The new item has been working fine since I got it and they really looked out and made the process smooth and speedy! As of Feb 5 2025 changing this 3 star review to a 5 because once it works the PS5 is awesome and Amazon’s was awesome can’t stretch that enough!I only signed up for prime since it was free 😉 but seems like it is more than worth it!

Console Stopped Working!!
I purchased this for my son as a Christmas gift. The day after he opened it and began playing it completely shut down! The console would not come on after several attempts. Tried having Sony troubleshoot it and NOTHING! I had to go through the hassle of contacting Sony and getting a return box for them to either replace it or fix it. This is so sad as my son was truly looking forward to playing his game. It is extremely unfortunate to spend this kind of money on a product that stops working after ONE DAY!!!!

Just in case you are planing to play you play station 4 cds, just want to let you know that it does not have a disk drive but you can buy it afterwards and the ps5 has a spot the attach it. So, only online games and previous games you downloaded on your ps4 can be played. The PS5 is very nice recommended and love the 371$ I paid for it.

What a bargain
Got this gift last minute for myself. It came earlier than expected. Box was a little rough but the contents I side were perfect. It comes with 1 controller which had to be charged for about an hour but was still usable through the USB C cord. The HDMI cord was not very long. Probably 2ft or less and the power cord is not very long either, so if you don’t have your system close to your TV you may want to invest in some longer cables. Install was easy and my data transferred seamlessly. All my PS4 info was moved to the new console and the 1TB memory served well. My external hard-drive hooked up just perfect and seems to be working fine. If anything changes I will update this review, but so far so good.
