Great camera for newbie streamers
Bought this as my first camera for streaming and love it. It won’t show up in the settings menu to adjust it but it works, so don’t worry. The picture quality is pretty good and clear, I will be getting a better one in the future but this and a headset is honestly more then enough to get started on

It captures gameplay well enough to be WITNESSED by the Wasteland, but there are flaws in this shiny facade.The background removal feature doesn’t always work as promised; it’s like chasing a mirage in the desert. Low-light performance leaves much to be desired—your glory fades in the shadows.For casual use, it’s serviceable. But for a true Road Warrior of streaming, this might fall short of earning its place in the Citadel.

I bought this to dip my toes into streaming to see if I liked it. This was a great way to do that. Streaming with the ps camera is really really easy – easy to set up, to use, the settings in the playstation aren’t overly complicated. The PS5 limits the quality of the stream because the PS5 limits your bitrate to 2500kbps, so I would suggest keeping it at 720p/30fps for best results on a stream. Good lighting is important too, especially if you are using a green screen and the chroma key setting. I needed an additional light just for the green screen. Whether or not you use a green screen being well lit will be very important for best looking results.For the price and ease of use this is the best way to get into streaming if you just want to see if you like it or have kids that want to stream. After using this for a while I opted for better quality and control so I bought a capture card, webcam, and camera and it was a pain in but to set up with the PS5, so if you’re just wanting to try streaming out this is a million times easier than using OBS and a capture card with a PS5.The main limitations with this are just the stream quality and the fact that if you want to change games it starts a new stream.
