I don’t run windows often (I’m a mac user), but occasionally I need to run some windows-only application. I’ve had an aging thinkpad for this purpose for a long time, that finally gave up.I didn’t need anything special, but wanted something that will last for years, and I think this is it.The performance is great for me, boots up quickly, doesn’t come with a bunch of stuff pre-installed.I love that it’s small enough that it doesn’t take up a lot of space.

Worth the Money
Turned on and was working in less than 15 minutes. Great value for the $$ and just what I needed to replace my 12 year old entertainment center PC. That has now been relegated to other duties until it’s eventual demise.

Powerful compact unit
I really how it occupies a tiny amount of space on my desk. For its size, it packs plenty of power for home use (typically websurfing, email and Microsoft Office applications). 32GB of memory keep it future proof. 1TB SSD is more than enough storage.Starts up rapidly, responds quickly to inputs, no junk applications preloaded.There isn’t a lot of USB or display inputs, but for home use, it’s perfectly adequate.

Seems solid! – Update: Outstanding!
Update 4 Months In:As I shared in my Update at 7 weeks, this microcomputer had worked flawlessly. Now 5 months in, I am finding a recurring problem- not a ‘deal breaker’ mind you but it is of concern.The problem is that when left at idle for a period of time- overnight or randomly, even a few hours it locks up. Hit the keyboard or mouse and it won’t resume. The power light is on but it simply won’t come up. Ultimately the only ‘fix’ is to pull the power plug. This raises a concern aside from the malfunction. The greater problem is that removing the power cord might there potentially be a data loss or corruption from an improper shutdown.I haven’t reached out to the vendor yet but will and will document their response… or lack of? We’ll see.In closing, I reaffirm that apart from this one issue so far, it has performed flawlessly and it is FAST! I run Linux Mint (purchased here on Amazon on disk for EZ install) and Windows 11 as a secondary OS visa-vi a dual boot start-up. Even Windows with all of its bloat loads rather quickly.So bottom line irrespective of dropping the stars rating, this seems thus far to be a solid choice for your computer needs.Update 7 Weeks in:This mini PC has been working flawlessly. I run Linux Mint and Windows 11 in a dual-boot setup. Linux Mint boots in 7 seconds flat! Windows 11 in 10-12 seconds w/a lot of ‘stuff’ at start-up. Just to put that in perspective, my 6+-year-old HP AIO would boot Linux Mint in about 25 seconds and Windows 10 in about 1 minute.So the bottom line here is if you are looking to upgrade/update as I was previously running a decent HP AIO, you will find this an excellent option.Original post review:I’m just getting this set up, but so far, so good. It came on time, was well packaged, runs quiet and cool, and is a lot of bang for the buck. I paired this with an Acer 27-inch curved monitor and attached that to the Vivo adjustable arm. This opened up my desk space from the HP AIO that I’ve had on my desk for the past 7+ years.By the way, if you are in the market for a completely new set-up—desk and all—I paired the Huanno adjustable height desk with the HEIRLOUM Reclaimed Wood Table Top. It’s a great desk at a fraction of the price of many of the lower-quality put-together desks. Pair these two, and you won’t be disappointed, for sure! I also added the Kennsington Micro under-desk tray for a clean, clutter-free desk.

This mini pc is quick for the size and isn’t loud at all. Works great !

So far, this tiny box is delivering better computing power than our not-much-older bigger box, with Windows Pro 11 to boot. Thanks.
