I brought this Christmas 2013 for my 12 year old son…I also purchased the Nintendo 3ds Dream team for my 6 year old son…..I was satisfied with both bundle package but I noticed that the dream team bundle package was bigger in size than the flame red….Flame red is nice,i have nothing really bad to say about this product..They both came with a game already installed which is a plus because it starts the kids off with a game built in….I highly recommend this product because its nice and their worth it!!!!!

From a European country and Mario 3d Land doesnt work..
This 3ds seems to have been in Austria and when I went to change the region to North America in the settings, it was not there. So I’m guessing that I have to mod the 3ds to unlock the region so I can change it to North America. Also the 3ds does not recognize Mario 3d land when I insert it, I’ve tried cleaning it and also blowing in the inside of the 3ds but still no luck, it might be because it is a North American copy or its just broken .. But I don’t know yet until I change the region. No other issues, its just a really dumb obstacle that I have to go over that is somewhat time consuming. I’m glad that I was able to sorta figure out the issue since I do have some experience when it comes to modding things but I cant imagine the disappointment and pain if I person with no prior experience with this type of thing or someone with no computer would have if they got this 3ds instead of me. Just warning everyone that the 3ds can be locked in only European countries..

Don’t. Buy. Used.
The main reason why I had bought this was for the added Mario 3D Land at a cheaper price than the 3DS and the game separately and so I bought it used, but when I got it I couldn’t find the game that was supposedly pre-installed. I assume that the previous owner had maybe deleted it? Still, don’t be like me and be safe by buying the new one. I would have rated this lower stars but I had already bought another game so it could be worse.

Sons 5th Birthday Present…He is in love !!!
I just recently recieved the package I bought for my son. I decided to buy the nintendo with pre installed mario 3D land new because I wanted to get my moneys worth also I liked the idea of it being pre-installed in the fear it could get lost later. The package was just how it described it NEW!!! Everything that a nintendo 3ds new should come with it had. Im glad that the seller also had proof of the delivery with a signature bx I did run into some trouble when it arrived to my home. Other than that it did arrive around the schedule time which was nice. So far my son is very in love with it, I do recommend for the parent buying this game console to also get a protective case. I purchased one from gamestop that I liked and feel that it will work very well . It is called nerf armor its kinda like a sponge and plastic inside. Very cushiny it does make the console like 3x bigger than the actual size better safe than sorry tho. Over all I can say my son loves it and I am very pleased with the purchase I made.

I got this for my husband for christmas, I had the older version and he liked that and wanted this one, he has bought a lot of games. And plays with this all the time! Mind you hes 48! Lol..he loves playing all kinds of games, the mind games, Mario, I like Mario too!! Lol.. It’s nice that the screen is bigger and he loves the 3D

High approval from long-time Nintendo handheld fan
I have always been a fan of Nintendo’s handheld video game systems, from the original Gameboy all the way to the DSi. I hadn’t played much since the DSi came out, so I was kind of skeptical as to weather this would be worth it. I was delighted with what I got. I love the form factor, the size, the ergonomics, and basically everything about it. I have played the included game, Super Mario 3D Land, Pokemon X (the reason I got this), and Mario Kart 7. All work well. Not too big of a fan of 3D in general, so I don’t use it much. It does work, though. I am expecting my pre-order of Super Smash Brothers in a few months so that’s exciting. I recommend getting an external USB battery and a USB charging cable for this guy, works well.

The Nintendo 3DS works great. I didn’t have any problems playing 3D Land on the 3DS. The graphics on the 3DS are great. Super Mario 3D Land is a great game, it is similar to Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury. In the game you collect Star Coins hidden throughout each level. The Nintendo 3DS with Super Mario 3D Land was worth the money.

Had the Nintendo DS Lite for over 5 years and when I gave it away back in August I was waiting to purchase a 3DS and my husband purchased the red one on sale with a game pre installed which is great now i don’t need to buy it

Charger port was really warped, rough around the edges, and the case that came with it was smeared in cat hair. Luckily myself or my kids aren’t allergic to cats. Wasn’t impressed how it was packaged, was wrapped in paper towel. Not worth $185 in my honest opinion.
