Good Value, but hard to fly and easy to lose
UpdateThe company heard my concerns and disappoint in losing my drone after the first flight. They graciously took care of me and provided a few tips to practice learning to fly it.After opening the drone and practicing indoors, flying is much easier, and at this price, it is the perfect starter drone to learn to fly with! Still suggest not flying outdoors on windy days and keeping it low to the ground.—————————————————————————————————————————–I was impressed with all the stuff you got and the design. It’s cheap, and you know that once you hold it as it’s made of cheap plastic. Flying is tricky as you need to learn to fly it just by watching the drone rather than the video feed the feed could be better with a better connection. Additionally, I would recommend not flying it with any wind. I mean, NO WIND at all.I had a DJI Maverick Pro, and it was fantastic and easy to fly and control; however, I never used it, so I sold it. I purchased this one to mess around with, and when I went it fly it for the first time, it was almost impossible to control; the video feed was useless, and soon as it got above 15 feet, the 5 – 10 MPH wind grabbed ahold of it and sent it flying into the horizon. With no video feed or GPS, it was gone for good. So If you are going to buy this, use it to learn and fly in an empty field away from anything!

I had high hopes for the NEHEME NH525 Plus Foldable Drone, especially given its features and affordable price, but my experience with it has been underwhelming. While it’s marketed as beginner-friendly, I found it anything but.What Didn’t Work:Difficult to Control: The controls feel clunky and imprecise, making it hard to fly smoothly. Even after several attempts, I struggled to keep the drone stable, which was frustrating as a beginner.Easily Blown Away by Wind: Any slight breeze makes flying this drone almost impossible. It gets tossed around like a toy, which makes outdoor use very unreliable unless the weather is perfectly calm.Not Intuitive: The instructions are poorly written, and the app isn’t user-friendly. It took me a lot of trial and error to figure out basic functions like pairing the drone with the remote and initiating the camera. A more intuitive design would have made a world of difference.Poor Battery Life: The advertised battery life is overly optimistic. In my experience, each battery barely lasts 7–8 minutes, which isn’t enough time to enjoy the drone or get meaningful footage. Having two batteries helps, but the downtime for recharging is inconvenient.What I Liked:The foldable design and carry case are convenient for portability.The 1080P camera is decent for a drone in this price range, though don’t expect high-quality footage.Final Thoughts:This drone might work as a toy for kids or as a short-lived novelty, but for anyone looking to learn or enjoy the hobby seriously, it’s a disappointment. Between the poor stability, limited battery life, and unintuitive controls, it’s hard to justify even its budget price.2/5 stars – There are better beginner drones available for a little extra cost.
