Yes, the Revolution 5 Pro is an officially licensed PlayStation controller compatible with PS5, PS4 and PC. Use the switch on the back of the controller to choose your platform. Controller was not designed to work with Xbox or mobile devices.
Where can I download the software for the Nacon Revolution 5 Pro controller?
You can find and download the app for the Revolution 5 Pro on the nacongaming.com product page in the Support and Downloads section. It is available for Windows 10/11 and Mac OS. The app is for software updates and profile customizations.
Why is Hall Effect technology, found in joysticks and triggers on the Nacon Revolution 5 Pro controller, so awesome?
It uses magnetic sensors and magnets to eliminate stick drift while increasing precision and durability of joysticks and triggers. It prevents friction and mechanical wear on key components and increases lifespan compared to traditional mechanisms.
What can I do if my Revolution 5 Pro controller is not recognized by my game on PC?
Check that the mode switch on the underside of the controller is in the 3rd position (PC). Revolution 5 Pro is compatible with all PC games that are X-Input compatible. This is the standard protocol for using a controller.
Is the Revolution 5 Pro controller compatible with gaming on Steam?
Yes, the Revolution 5 Pro controller is compatible on Steam played on PC, but not with Mac. Make sure to set the Revolution 5 Pro platform switch, on the back of the controller, to PC.
Does the Revolution 5 Pro have the haptic feedback vibration feature for the PS5 and PS5 games?
Revolution 5 Pro does not have haptic feedback vibrations for games on PS5 consoles as this is a Sony-exclusive feature for Sony or reskinned Sony controllers only. However, this feature is available for PS4 consoles and PC games.
What is the purpose of Trigger Blocks on the Revolution 5 PRO controller?
They allow you to select long or short pulls to adapt the triggers for specific gaming styles. Longer pull is ideal for racing games like TDU: Solar Crown. Shorter pull, often called hair-trigger, is ideal for FPS games like Robocop: Rogue City.
Can the Revolution 5 Pro be used both wirelessly and wired?
Yes, a USB-A wireless transmitter for PS5, PS4 and PC is included with the controller. Revolution 5 Pro features up to 10 hours of battery-powered gaming in wireless mode. Or go wired with the included 3-meter, braided USB-A to USB-C cable.
Can I remap the four back buttons right from the Revolution 5 Pro controller or do I need to use the app?

Why is an external plug-in mic included for the controller when the controller supports Bluetooth 5.2 wireless audio?

PS5 👎Needs dongle, no vibration, no power on, no % button
It’s misleading to say PS5 in bold letters and officially licensed and not state most *important PS5 functions don’t work.The vibration effect will not work, the power button will not work and it requires the use of a dongle to connect. Also after reading that there is no gradient scale on triggers, either on/off.With so many things missing and for the price IT SHOULD STATE every thing it won’t do on the PS5 if they are going to list PS5 first in the description.The add should state PS4/PC controller CAN* work with PS5 without certain functions. See disclaimer* something, everything in the add would lead me to believe its going to function as the factory controller did. It does not.

XBOX Controller for Playstation
This is long, you can scroll down to the bottom for my pros and cons if you don’t want to read the whole review.I bought this controller after reading it was the best (to the author), that it out does the Playstation edge controller, and it was on sale. I usually play with my controllers wired (don’t have to worry about the battery dying). I own a variety of “pro” controllers: Scuf, Battle Beaver, Aim & PS Edge. All of these controllers are $200 or more, based on configuration.I was disappointed with Battle Beaver as the wait time was long and they couldn’t configure my controller as I wanted. They refunded a bit of money and said I could return it on a later date to have the functions I requested (button remapping), but it had already been between 4 to 6 months from time of order to arrival. There are multiple options to configure, it’s not a bad controller at all, but you do need to be aware of where the back buttons are when you choose those options.I had also ordered the Scuf Pro Reflex. I enjoyed that one, gave it to a buddy after ordering another one with different bumper configurations.I bought the PS Edge, which only has 2 buttons for remapping. It is a solid controller and cheaper then the others. I still use it, mostly in my travel pack.Also in my travel bag is the Aim controller. Allows for remapping the back paddles, but sometimes feels like they are awkwardly placed.Finally, to the Nacon controller. If you go back and forth between XBOX and Playstation or maybe your on Playstation and wanting to play on the XBOX, this controller will help with the layout. It took some time to get my thumbs use to the layout, but that’s fine. The re-mappable buttons are in a good position and didn’t have much issues there. This controller will not turn your Playstation on when you press the home button. It doesn’t matter if it is wired or wireless. You have to use your computer to remap the buttons. I had issues with the D-Pad either not registering or registering the wrong direction a few times. For the price (it was on sale) it’s not a bad option. If you have no plans on playing XBOX, or have ever played with an XBOX controller, this may throw you off a bit. It does allow you to “lock” the triggers for FPS games.Long of it short:Pros:Remappable button layout feels goodFPS Trigger locksPrice compared to other “Pro” controllers*XBOX Controller layout (if you came or are going to XBOX)Cons:Need to use computer to Remap buttonsWon’t turn on your PS5Issues with D-Pad*XBOX Controller layout (if you are not use to the XBOX controller)I would really give this a 3.7 out of 5 stars (but lets round up). I just got back into gaming after several years and I definitely like this controller. The color, handling, and style; are its’ main, positive, points that I like the device. I would recommend the product to anyone that can afford it.

Where do I start? First of all, what’s the point of an officially licensed controller that can’t turn on your playstation wirelessly? Getting the program installed was a pain. Then it wanted to update the program, like uh, why not just put the updated program on your website? Also, it’s 2024 and there still isn’t a IOS/Android app as promised. At least they fixed the windows program. Also, so many switches, I had to move three switches before I could get the computer to recognize it.Good thing is that it’s easy to switch between connected to the computer program and the PS5, down side though is the PS5 notices the controller is not connected.The extra buttons on the bottom aren’t really easy to use. I originally bought the Dual Sense Edge and those paddles were certainly more user friendly. The face buttons are also much more difficult to press. And as much as I like the idea of hall effect joysticks, they feel very difficult to move around with precision.Anyway, I am returning this because it made me worse at Warzone, not better like the Edge did (and yes, it did in fact make me a little better and faster).

IS IT BETTER THAN EDGEDUEL SENSE ?
Yes and no. I like it better on the thumbs. But the paddle buttons don’t line up with my hands and fingers. It does create a problem for me sometimes and others it’s perfect timing but the duel sense fits like a charm. I just click my thumbs together sometimes. Very annoying but I still play way better call of duty with Nacon. 22 man kill streak yall!!

Un mando muy bueno pero…
A pesar de que cuenta con joysticks magnéticos que para mi es lo mejor que tiene hay alguna cosas que no me gustan, como el hecho que no se puede encender la PS5 con este mando, no se si soy yo el que lo ha configurado mal pero he intentado de todo y no logro encender la PS5 con este mando. Otro cosa que no me gusta del todo es que los triggers no son de click de mouse. Si tuviera estas caracterÃsticas seguro les doy las 5 estrellas.

Es excelente en todo, diseño, sensación de botones, sticks hall effect, perfiles… Todo.Pero le pongo dos detalles para mà gusto. Uno son los botones traseros superiores, llevo un buen rato con este mando y me sigo sintiendo raro al presionarlos. Pero supongo que es cuestión de gustos.El otro detalle no tan detalle es la cruceta, no sé si me llegó “defectuoso” en este aspecto pero en los juegos de lucha la siento muy imprecisa y eso que la uso con la forma clásica y no la de cÃrculo.Quitando todo esto de lado lo recomiendo 100 por 100

Adquirà este mando hace exactamente un mes y cuatro dÃas desde la fecha de publicación de este comentario, y tengo algunas quejas especÃficas u opiniones al respecto.Los botones del mando (cÃrculo, triángulo, cuadrado y cruz) han comenzado a desgastarse o despintarse. Considero que esto no deberÃa estar sucediendo después del tiempo de uso mencionado, especialmente porque no lo utilizo a diario. Tengo la versión anterior (Revolution Pro Controller 3) desde hace dos años y, a pesar de que presenta un leve *drift* en el *stick* derecho, los botones están en perfecto estado y no muestran signos de desgaste.Esto me lleva a mi siguiente observación: el *drift*. Al comenzar a usar este mando, detecté un ligero *drift* en el *stick* derecho del mando de esta publicación. Sin embargo, esto se solucionó configurándolo correctamente a través de la aplicación del mando, aunque desconzco si deberia ser de esa manera.Mi única queja real son los botones, ya que por el precio que se paga, no esperaba que una marca reconocida ofreciera algo de tan baja calidad. Incluso me surge la duda de si adquirà un clon del producto, considerando que la versión anterior no presenta ningún problema significativo después de dos años de uso.Es un gran mando aun con mis dudas y comentarios. Se siente de excelente calidad y se comporta maravillosamente en todo tipo de juegos, especialmente los FPS. Y si no te molesta que los botones se borren, es una gran opción.Adjunto evidencia de ambos mandos para su revisión.
