Tackle, pass, and score in battle soccer with the Mushroom Kingdom gang
Introducing Strike, a 5-on-5, soccer-like sport with no rules—do whatever it takes to win! Get gritty and try to score the most goals by tackling enemies and pulling off score-boosting Hyper Strikes. Super Mario series mainstays like Peach, Toad, and Yoshi put their cleats (and stats) to the pitch and will stop at nothing to score…even if it means getting a little rough. Take the carnage online* or pass the ball to players locally**—just look out for the electric fence.
Gear up and power up
Tear up the field to earn coins and redeem them for stylish-and-sturdy gear. Don these accessories to customize your characters’ stats and appearance. Give your dribblers a speed boost or bump up your shooting skills for scoring. Mix it up to match your strategy. You’ll also find items on the field like Shells and Bananas—use ‘em to trip up your opponents to steal the ball or score.
Team up with Strikers near and far, or join an online club to push and shove your way up the ranks
8 players can go for the goal on one Nintendo Switch system, with local wireless**, or online*. Bring along a secondary Striker on the same system in online battles, too. Locally, 4 players on each team can go cleat-to-cleat in individual matches. With Strikers Clubs, band together with up to 20 Strikers online* and compete against other clubs for points. Find the right club for you, team up with friends, and bring your own Striker style to the table. Redeem in-game tokens for goals, accessories, and more to customize your club’s stadium!
*Any Nintendo Switch Online membership (sold separately) and Nintendo Account required for online features. Not available in all countries. Internet access required for online features. Terms apply.
**Additional games, systems and/or accessories may be required for multiplayer mode. Games, systems and some accessories sold separately.

Perfect for family fun!
This game, Mario Strickers, is so much fun! I bought this for Christmas for my kids and they love playing together. You can play up to 8 players per Switch. They love the features that you can do power plays and kick people into the electric fence 😂! It’s very similar to the Game Cube version with a few features that are new. It’s a new family favorite!

Strikers is back after so long, but is it good?
I don’t really like playing sports videogames but I do enjoy the exception that is arcade style, over-the-top, sports games where rules are very much non-existent and the series that I feel have been top on this genre are NBA Jam back in the day, and Mario Strikers. (well Mario Tennis also) Now we haven’t had a new Mario Strikers since the wii generation, so it was very surprising to finally see a 3rd installment.Mario Strikers 3 imo is quiet fun in the expectation you already like the idea of a no-rules over-the-top soccer style game. This might not win over anyone else that wouldn’t think that sounds fun in paper, specially cuz I also feel the controls are not so pick-up-and-play. They are not super hard or anything, but they are also not super simple either. If you can sit thru the learning curve then it becomes exciting to practice more and get better.I also feel that unlike MS2, the gameplay feels a lot more grounded and fluid, its not as messy where ud have a shower of items hitting you constantly or specials that would score 5 points at once. Not anymore. The gameplay is pretty fair imo. Items are still there but seem pretty manageable, and the special shots must be earned properly, can be blocked in a few ways, and will score 2 points only. The new feature in this game is that you can customize the gear your characters wear to alter their stats. It’s fun to experiment with different combinations and tweak your team to your liking. Just be aware that all gear pieces cost coins, and you have to earn coins by playing all the different game modes. Now for the negatives: If you know how semi risqué (by mario game standards) the older games were, this one not as in-ur-face. It’s a lil sassy but not like before.Another thing is that the content in-game is very limited at launch. Nintendo is releasing free dlc over time as they have done with their other games, but it just feels that more should have been there from the start maybe. Just be aware of this when you get it.And speaking of that I may revisit this review once all the content has been released. For now I say, it’s pretty fun and I enjoy it, just be aware of what you are getting into.

Mario Soccer
I play this with my cousins, we get super competitive. We tie this in with a Smash tourney, it’s a blast. Would highly recommend.
