You get what you’re paying for
I needed a headset with a mic to play my Xbox with my brother. I haven’t had a headset + mic n a very long time since I’m rocking a Shure microphone and Sennheiser headphones for my pc setup. I wasn’t sure where to start since so many new headsets have come out in the past few years (and razer’s quality has drastically gone downhill). My friend recommended these to me and they do not disappoint. Obviously the music quality isn’t as good, but the bass lows and sfx in video games sound great. The microphone itself is good quality and the headset is comfortable to wear for long sessions. The headset does not feel low quality or like cheap plastic. I didn’t intend to buy the lilac color but as a man I think they’re actually really cute.

Perfect $50 gaming headset
Sound quality is good but isn’t anything to write home about, perfectly solid for a headset at this price range. Surround sound is also pretty good, I’ve been playing lethal company with these and these are perfect at emulating that game’s fantastic sound design and directional sound.Mic quality is great for the price, again, not as good as a dedicated mic, but way better than most other $50 headsets, even better than a lot of $100 headsets!Pretty comfortable and breathable I don’t get that kind of gamer head sweatyness like from others, even after hours. Even with glasses there’s no major discomfort, maybe a bit of soreness after hours of continual pressure, but nothing that doesn’t go away after a quick 5min break with them off.Only complaint is that I wish I got these wireless! For me, the cable is a bit long, and often gets tangled up in my desk and chair. I may just swap out the aux for a shorter one…Overall, these are the best $50 headset I’ve owned, can’t recommend it highly enough for its solid sound quality, comfort, and mic quality.

Awful microphone
I purchased this headset because I owned the original version of the A10 for over 7 years and though it was time for an upgrade. If you are looking at this headset for this reason, DO NOT purchase it. Just stick with the old one. I returned this and bought the original version because it is so much better. When I first received the headset it was in fine condition. The headphones are extremely small but it worked okay for me because I have small ears, but they were still pretty uncomfortable to wear for longer periods of time, which is not ideal considering these are gaming headphones.Within roughly 4 days the microphone became rather loose. It would only go all the way up into the muted position, or it would fall all the way down and it was no longer adjustable. From the moment I got it the microphone did not pick up all of my audio and cut out extremely often even when my audio input sensitivity was turned all the way up. Within 2 weeks, the microphone had come almost completely detached with light usage (maybe 4 times a week for 3 to 4 hours at a time). I would NOT recommend buying this headset given the quality of the microphone, audio, and fit of the headphones. The only positive thing I have to say about this headset is that it comes with a shorter cord, and I enjoy the array of colors.

Worth the Value
Prior to getting this headset I was dealing with a headset that was getting worn out and needed a new one. I wasn’t looking to spend a lot of money and when I saw this headset it caught my eye visually and price wise. At the time of buying this it was on discount so I knew I had to try it out. When I got it in hand it looked even better than it thought it would. I use this for gaming on a Playstation and it makes it very convenient being able to plug it right into the controller which allows me easier mobility. The headset quality is very good and takes the gaming experience to another level. There was one problem I had with it, when I first got it the sound would go from one side to the other. But it was a simple fix of unplugging the wire from the headset and putting it back in. As time went on from me purchasing it the issue has gone away. There was also issues with some audio being too loud or too low but it was able to be fixed just by mixing the settings.

Reliable
I’m someone who plays a lot of games for long periods of time and I’ve gone through many different headsets but this one is the best I’ve ever used. 1.) its incredible comfortable, the main thing I’ve noticed about many headsets for long periods of gaming they begin to hurt but these ones are really comfortable so comfy I sometimes forget I’m wearing them. 2.) they sound awesome, the sound is very detailed I can hear thing beside me and behind me and I’m getting the full sound experience of whatever game I’m playing they can also be really loud so keep that in mind. 3.) mic quality, while it isn’t the best mic I’ve ever used it’s really good for everything you get with it and for this price it feels illegal owning these yet it isn’t.TLDR one of the best headsets in my opinion if you know someone who is a gamer or you’re a gamer looking for a relatively cheap headset this is it.

Good Starter Headset
This headset is a gold standard for budget headphones. It does well in regards to fitment and breathability. The sound profile is quite warm so it will pick up a bit more high frequency. It also features a low end boost for more “thumpy” sounds associated with most action games. I find in personal use on Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six : Siege, the headphones perform well enough that footsteps are heard easily if the other in game audio is quiet. These headphones are cheaper, and do not have Bluetooth functionality. However the microphone that is flip toggle, is quite serviceable and all the people I played with said it sounds great. It may not perform as strongly in a loud environment, but you cannot beat the reliability of a wired connection, because in 5-10 years you will still be able to use these. Most lithium ion rechargeable batteries will completely stop holding charge after about 5-6 years of regular use.I think the price to performance ratio is quite good and these are a good starting point for any gamer.

My youngest destroys gaming equipment like a monster, so I tried to find something at the cheapest price point where headsets start to get decent ($70-$80), and tried these because I heard good things from a ton of folks. I did check them out in person to take a closer look at the ear padding and headband, and was pleasantly surprised. The construction was solid: sliding headband adjustment was tight with no set “click” points; the pivot points are solid and well constructed and don’t look like weak points at all; the fabric covering the ear padding is soft and well attached with no pleats or loose ends/threads; the memory foam is really decent quality, and doesn’t retain heat; and the 3.5mm jack cord seems somewhat heavier duty than average -it’s thicker, and resists kinking. The sound is exceptional for this price range -very well balanced with decent frequency range, and no tinny sounding treble. The only negative things I have to say about this headset is that the fabric over the memory foam is harder to clean than solid vinyl, but it’s so much more comfortable that it’s barely a drawback. In this price range I’ve had an Xbox headset, two different Turtle Beach headsets and a Hyper X Stinger. All were far less comfortable over the ears, weren’t as adjustable or comfortable to wear, and didn’t have nearly as good quality sound (the Hyper X sound quality was total garbage in my opinion).
