Short but well done!
I bought this for my son as a reward for doing well in school. He absolutely loves it and has played it multiple times in the two weeks he’s had it.The graphics and sound effects are well done and quite eerie and the minimal storyline is interesting, although for $19.99 the game is pretty darn short. There are some intense moments in there at least!My son is 8 and beat the game again this evening over a couple hours. This makes the third or fourth time he’s beaten it, but he keeps coming back to it because he enjoys it so much, so that’s a plus in my book.

Excellent old school horror. Not for young children.
Very fun if you enjoyed old school horror games during the PS1 and PS2 eras or games like Limbo and Inside. The main story is a little short but for $23 I’m not complaining, especially with the DLC included. I won’t spoil the story but this game is rated T for a reason. I don’t recommend it for little kids despite the fact that you’re playing as one.

Awesome game!
Great game for those who love puzzles and creepy atmospheres. The DLC is on a code, not the disc, but if you have a PlayStation account its easy to install. I’ve heard people who played games like Limbo and Inside also liked this game, so if you liked those, you’ll love this. PS: there’s a second one coming out soon!

My little sister LOVED the second one. Plays it over and over so I got her this for her birthday making sure to get the complete edition so she has the full experience and the voucher it arrived with is expired?? She’s very disappointed.

My son loves it
My son wanted this game for his birthday, so I bought it. It’s a cool, fun little game. It reminds me of Little Big World, but darker. It’s not a long game by itself, but we were able to download a few more boards during a system update recently, so he’s still enjoying it. It even caught my husband’s attention and he began playing it, too.

If You Like Outlast or Inside, You’ll Probably Like This One
In the vein of Outlast and Inside, Little Nightmares is about a child sneaking through his nightmares. Beautifully rendered, the game is a fun (though sometimes frustrating) puzzler. There is no melee action, but on occasion you’ll eat a gnome. My main complaint with the game is the DLC portion, specifically for the Secret of the Maw Expansion Pass. The provided code doesn’t seem to work, and as other players have pointed out, the game is short without it. I have reached out to Bandai-Namco and am awaiting their response. Sony assures me the lack of a download button in the PS4 store (after redeeming the code and the DLC listed as purchased) isn’t a platform issue, but a content one. We’ll see…

Little Nightmares tells the story of Six, a little girl that must escape from a creepy environment filled with grotesque and unsettling characters. The graphics are very “claymation” style and the imagery is very Tim Burton-esque; like A Nightmare Before Christmas. Despite the creepy tone of the game, it’s actually quite breathtaking to play/watch as you guide Six from room to room and solve puzzles to aid in your escape from horrible traps and creatures that set out to capture you. I wouldn’t classify this as a horror game. Instead, it’s more “scary fantasy” or “animation horror” in nature like an unsettling art film involving stop-motion characters that are creepily designed. Very young children will be traumatized but pre-teens should be fine playing this game. If you’re familiar with the games Limbo, Inside, Machinarium or even Ico, you’ll be familiar with the style of this game.A sequel to this game was recently announced so if you haven’t heard of, or played this game before, it’s definitely worth checking out.

It should have been clearly stated that the item was region locked and would DEFINITELY NOT WORK in the uk, why they have even listed the item on the uk site when it will not work i have no idea, they shouldn’t have, they should also should not be selling the item at that price considering that the items dlc does not work.
