Great monitor excellent for travel
This external monitor has exceeded my expectations. It came packaged with all of the cords I needed to get started. Simple instructions made it easy to setup and start using it. The color and picture are pretty darn good, just make sure your take the time to dial in your settings on your computer and the monitor and you’ll be successful. I really like the included stand that makes it easy to use in landscape. The resolution is solid, and provides a really clean and stable experience. It’s easy to pop into a laptop bag along with my MacBook and work from anywhere.

I got this for work/ my laptop and it does everything I need it to. Happened to pick this one because it was on sale. Good resolution and brightness. Easy to connect and use right out of the box. Light enough for easy transport in my work bag. Also came with a gift with purchase which was a nice surprise.

Great Value in a Portable Monitor!
I bought this portable monitor to use in my vocal booth for recording voice overs and audiobooks so I wouldn’t need my laptop inside the booth. The laptop has a fan that runs when it gets warm so, as you would imagine, it gets warm a lot in the vocal booth, so the fan runs frequently.With this monitor and a 15′ cable, I was able to move my laptop out of the booth and connect the monitor. The 15.6″ monitor is significantly larger than my 13″ laptop screen so that is also a welcome improvement.Connecting and setup was a breeze. Connecting the appropriate cable, turning on, and, “boom”, it worked. It is very light so if you needs include carrying it around with a laptop for mobile working, you will barely notice the additional weight in your laptop bag. The attached cover serves as a stand so that’s also an added bonus as it protects and is useful.The clarity and crispness of the video is exceptional. I don’t use it for a lot of video editing work or video games so I can’t speak to how it would work for that, but for my needs, it is the best value I’ve seen in a very, very long time.I paid a little over $150 for this monitor and was extremely impressed with the quality of the screen as well as the quality and sturdiness of the design and construction. I can’t imagine why I would even consider spending the $250 to $400 that I saw for other 15.6″ portable monitors.I don’t think you would go wrong buying this.

Perfect size and practical!
Monitor came as described, was easy to set up, and actually the stand is a surrounding case to protect the monitor when not in use or during travel. A great value for a really great asset
Having an additional monitor is always helpful if you are a multitasker, and for better or worse, that includes about everyone these days. It would be terrific to be able to focus you attention on what is before you and give your absolute attention to it The practical reality is that is an aspiration for most Americans. The Upperizon Portable Monitor, is the perfect size, works beautifully and gives you an instant second monitor when you cannot be at your desk or if you want an economical and practical second monitor so you can work and have your emails up at the same them without a split screen. Or check out the internet while you are on a video meeting. The Upperizon Portable Monitor comes with all of the cables you could possibly need and connects to you laptiop or desktop and is up and running in less than minutes, They have great support who just wanted to check in. The price is amazing and you get a great value for a very little investment. This is my second one because I have two offices and two different computers and I have had no trouble for more than a year. You don’t have to give it a thought! It is there and working every day.

Monitor arrived with all the necessary cables. My laptop doesn’t have a USB-C port, so I made use of the HDMI -> mini-HDMI cable and the USB-A -> USB-C cables, and my wife was lucky enough to only need the USB-C -> USB-C cable since her laptop does have that port.The stand it came with was very easy to use and doubles as a “case” which works perfectly fine, but it’s probably worth upgrading to a real case if you plan to do a bit of travel – which takes me to my next point:Upon arrival, the company offered to upgrade a number of accessories for free, such as the case, the stand, as well as some others. They didn’t ask for anything in return, so rest assured all the reviews you read are completely genuine. I opted to get the upgraded stand, which arrived a few days later, and the company quickly reached out to me via email with the tracking details for that. Quality is good on that as well and it can be used with phones too.As far as the monitor itself – no complaints here. Crisp picture, no glare like you get from most laptop screens, and the setup was incredibly straight-forward – it turned on and was ready to go the second I hooked it up to my laptop.10/10 recommend, I will be purchasing another in the future since my wife hogged this one for the majority of our trip!

Great portable or desktop monitor
I am using this monitor as an extended display for my laptop. Setup was easy and I like that it uses a standard HDMI cable on both sides. Color is crisp and it also comes with speakers. I also plan to use it when on the road as it will fit right in the laptop bag. Also comes with a two year warranty once registered. Highly recommend.

I have this monitor in a workshop, and am using it as an always-on display, hooked to a security camera array, via HDMI. I find it to be absolutely perfect for this type of job. It looks great, and hasn’t skipped a beat since I turned it on.Here’s some info that may be of use if you’re considering buying one:It has a max resolution of 1080p@60Hz. It has built-in speakers that … work … but you’re not going to want to listen to music through them. It comes with a neat little protective vinyl cover, that folds up into a stand, and attaches to the back with magnets–great if you want to travel with it. It has four screw-holes on the back, for mounting it onto a wall. On the right-hand side, it has a power-button, a menu-button, and a pair of up/down buttons, used to navigate the menu and adjust volume/brightness/etc. The menu system is straightforward and simple, but using the side buttons makes navigation a little bit tedious. Thankfully, I’ve only had to enter the menu once, when I initially set it up. On the left-hand side, it has 1 full-sized HDMI port and 2 USB-C ports, one of which is used to power the device. It comes with a USB-A wall adapter, a 1.2m USB-A=>USB-C cable, a 1.2m USB-C=>USB-C cable, and a 1.5m HDMI cable.I tried connecting it to a ChromeCast, as I am considering getting a second one, for streaming the cricket. It worked fine, but since there’s no CEC, I couldn’t adjust the volume with the ChromeCast remote. I imagine I’ll probably still get the second one, as I plan on having it permanently muted anyway, but this might be an issue for some people. I also tried connecting it to my laptop over USB-C, to see if it was useable as a second monitor. This did eventually work, but it took a bit of unplugging and replugging in order to get the laptop to recognise it. I also had to keep it plugged into the wall (via the 2nd USB port), as it wouldn’t draw power from the laptop. This might’ve been an issue with my set-up, I dunno. I’ve never used a USB-C monitor before and probably won’t in the future. I just wanted to see if it worked.
