The desk is ok. Was pretty easy to put together. The only gripe I have is the desk top does not line up. (See picture) I wish this was 1 solid piece. Other than that, a simple desk. Pretty solid too.

I recently received this desk, and I am very happy with it. It was easy to assemble, and the instructions were clear. The desk is sturdy and looks attractive. It has a good amount of space for my computer equipment and other items I need for work. The desk was a good value for the price.

Easy to assemble, good size for a home office cubby
The desk is nicely made, and the assembly instructions were easy to follow. I would recommend two people for some of the assembly, as it is all about aligning bolts into machined spaces. (Everything slid right together without forcing) The surface feels nice to the touch, and the shelves can be placed on either side to accommodate your preference. I’m pleased with this purchase and would buy again!

This is a great table for the price. It has extra storage on the side. Works well in small spaces. The paint wasn’t chipped at all. I couldn’t be happier with it!

Not the color ordered but worked out well
My sister requested the white desk and that is what I ordered, but a black desk arrived. Thankfully it matched other items and went well with her room decor. The 48” size was just right for the space and allows her desk chair to fit under the desk. While the length of the desk works, it is a bit narrow back to front and we wish for a few more inches of desktop. So far, this desk seems sturdy. She sometimes leans on the top when reaching for things and said she feels like it is stable and is not concerned about it falling. This desk is a simple design. There is a hook on one side of the desk for cords or headphones and two small shelves on the other side, but there isn’t any real storage. We added a rolling cart that slides under one side of the desk and are looking for some type of hutch or shelving to go above the desk to help with the lack of storage space.Like almost everything we get from Amazon, we had to assemble it. The instructions were clear and the assembly was not problematic, though it did take over an hour due to the physical challenges of the assemblers (me and my sister).

Perfect for workshop
This JOISCOPE home office desk is the perfect work surface in my workshop. I use this desk to paint small things and to work on various items. With the metal frame and wood top, it is the perfect size for my basement workshop. The work surface is large enough to accomodate my tools and paints and the shelves are great for storage. I have an old office chair that I use and this works perfectly.

Great. Easy enough to put together, after being put together, looks exactly like the ad pictures. It’s not the sturdiest piece of furniture I own, but it’s like IKEA, good enough (also the furniture that is sturdiest costs waaay more). My room is looking way more organized and is way more efficient on a budget.

This is my review of the JOISCOPE Home Office Desk with Double Reversible Side Shelves and Headphone Hooks.The packaging for the desk pieces was well thought out. Every piece was wrapped in plastic and had styrofoam galore to protect it. However, I really thought they could have made more use of cardboard instead of plastic. It was a little unsettling with how much styrofoam and plastic was needed for this desk.Regarding the design, I was extremely impressed with the sleek all-black vibe. It is clean and contrasty. Since I got the black neutral color model, it integrates with any any room aesthetic that isn’t white. The top of the desk seems to be a vinyl covered piece of wood pressboard/fiberboard. For the price, I wasn’t expecting authentic red wood, but thought it was worth mentioning.The customizability of the design also lends itself to being extremely versatile. The ability to swap the side the shelves are on is genius that I wish other manufactures would implement. If you wanted to switch it on the fly, you could turn the desk 180 degrees, and remove the long bar and 2 angled supports and simply move them to the other side. No need to turn the desk upside down and separate the 2 halves. If you were really weird, you could even use just the shelf portion standalone. Although, the main desk part would be useless.There’s no such thing as something for nothing, so all these great features at a good price must have a catch; The build quality. When it’s fully assembled it feels pretty sturdy, when there’s nothing on it. However, if you plan on putting anything but a computer monitor on the desk I would be a little warry. The support beams and the metal frame of the desk isn’t particularly thick. I have a Canon Pro-300 on top of the desk and that’s it. When the printer is idle, everything appears fine. But unfortunately, when printing, the movement of the printhead within the Pro-300 causes the desk to wobble considerably. There’s enough side-to-side flex that overtime this would surely cause the desk to fail.Overall, if you’re not planning on putting a Pro printer on it, it’s not a bad buy. I would recommend to anyone that wants to use it as a plain old computer desk. I can’t give 4.5 stars, so I will reluctantly give it a 5, as I can’t blame it for not being sturdy enough for my niche case.
