Super Small But Powerful Computer
The Nuc 12 Enthusiast is exactly what I have been looking for. I recently moved into my RV full time for a wonderful nomadic adventure. I purpose-built a so called Small Form Factor PC for myself. But it was ultimately still way too big and heavy. I used a mini-atx case, and all top quality components. But it was still too big. I tried to put it on my desk, under my desk. It wasnt working. So I started looking at mini PC’s and NUC’s. My requirements are massive amounts of disk space. Plus good overall performance, with a decent video card. I am not a core gamer. I am a casual gamer. But I develop interactive applications for event and museums. So a decent video card is important. But as such, I dont need the latest and greatest. But a discreet GPU is a must. This is my first shot with the ARC. And so far, so good. I would say it is on par with an RTX 3070. But at least as good at a 3060. That is my opinion based on usage, not any benchmarking. So your mileage may vary. Most import to me was the processing speed and storage capacity. This PC has a 12th gen i7. And I currently have 3 NVME drives in there for a total of 8 TB of storage. I think there is a fourth short m.2 slot in there. And the specs indicate some way to install a 2.5″ Sata drive. But I have not figure that out yet. But I will. I have a 2 TB Sata drive sitting right next to me right now. I would love to install that and bring my total capacity to 10 TB. Amazing for a PC smaller than an Xbox.So far the thing has run perfectly. No issues. I love it. Tiny. Powerful. Lots of storage. I hope Asus does as good of a job as intel when they continue the NUC product line.

Great for editing photographs!
This is the 3rd miniPC I have purchased in a year. The first I replaced because Adobe light room added features that needed a dedicated PC. The 2nd one did not have enough usb ports or internal expansion for all my drives. This PC, with room for 3 internal drives and plenty of usb ports, is working out perfectly. The speed of the system more than meets my needs and the graphics processor is renders the Lightroom denoise function swiftly. In addition I really like the design. You can open this up with 6×2 screws. Intel includes a tool for the outside ones and the inside screws are philips head. All screws are captured with rubber gromets so no looking for lost screws on the floor. Adding RAM and disc is so easy, everything is right there. The small size fits neatly on my desk and all the USB ports are 3.2 and located in back. In addition to the 6tb I have internal, I have attached 3 additional 2TB storage drives. Works flawlessly. Not much else to say. I don’t play games on it but do watch 4k videos (via the DP port to a 4k monitor) and you can change the colors of the lights or turn them off.

Fantastic PC at an unbelievable size
I gave up building an Home Theatre PC. My TV is 8K and NOTHING I tried would work to play 8K video without dripped frames until I bought this PC on its claim to play 8K, and the good video playback reviews of the Intel A770 graphics. When I connected it to my TV via HDMI 8K cable, it would not go about 4K at 60hz. I did some research and found the HDMI port on this PC is only V2.0b, so I tried a Cable Matters 8K Display Port to HDMI 2.1 adapter and presto, 8K@60. Still had a few dropped frames on YouTube videos, so bought a cable matters USB-C/Thunderbolt to HDMI 2.1 cable, and problem solved. Full 48 Gb/s video and audio to the TV. Pristine 8K picture. 4K and even upscaled lower resolution 720p and 1080p look great.I dont game so cannot tell you how well that works, but for a video PC playing the latest AV1 codecs, it is flawless if connected to the Thunderbolt port. Very pleased. Looks good on the entertainment center (I laid it flat on its small rubber feed rather than the included vertical stand).Note: It does not come with a keyboard or mouse, so you will need a USB WIRED or Dongle keyboard and mouse to set it up. And after the 1 hour of windows updates, you have to go to the INTEL website and download the actual current graphics drivers and control software to finish setting this up. There is no documentation at all in the box, so do your homework ahead of time.Temperature runs about 55c with fans on COOL and performance on HIGH playing back full screen 8K@60 video with AV1 codec. Even putting my ear up to it, I cannot hear it. QUIET is king. Highly recommend this unit to anyone looking to upgrade to 8K. Just chose a browser that can offload the video decoding to the graphics card. Edge works 100%. Have issues with Opera GX. Havent tried installing any others yet.Have fun.

Defective, constant hard freezing and BSOD
It worked well for a few hours. It seemed like it all started going downhill after I had installed updated drivers for the WiFi and bluetooth. After that there were constant hard freezes that required me to hold the power button to shut down the computer, and BSODs every 10 minutes. I reinstalled Windows 11 from the Windows Update menu and it did not work. I tried reinstalling Windows again from a fresh USB and the WiFi stopped working after the fresh install. No drivers. Upon trying to reinstall fresh drivers, errors were thrown and another hard freeze. Tried again to no avail. Really wanted to make it work but I guess this one was defective.

Well-built and powerful for its size.
Solid construction and easy access for upgrades to memory and storage. For everything I use on this PC, graphics and speed have not caused any issues. HDR support is appreciated, too many other PC manufacturers have forgotten this option for video output.
