Game-Changer: The Best Wireless Headset I’ve Ever Used!
Key Highlights: • Crystal-Clear Positional Audio – Pinpoint enemy movements with incredible accuracy. • Unmatched Wireless Range – Stay connected even when moving around the house. • Comfort & Build Quality – Lightweight, durable, and perfect for long gaming sessions. • Seamless Wireless Experience – No lag, no dropouts—just flawless connection.Full Review:I’ve used an expensive gaming headset since 2017—one that originally cost over $250—and I thought it was still good enough. When I got back into PUBG, I assumed my old headset was doing the job, but a friend recommended the HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless and claimed it would completely change my experience. Honestly, I didn’t believe him. But after using this headset, I have to admit—I’m absolutely blown away. The positional audio is next-level—I can hear every footstep, gunshot, and movement with pinpoint accuracy, making a massive difference in my gameplay.I also didn’t expect to care much about the wireless range, but it’s incredible. I can walk from my office all the way to my kitchen while staying connected to my PC and chatting with my friends, with zero interruptions. The sound quality, comfort, and battery life make this headset a must-have for any serious gamer. If you’re on the fence, trust me—this headset is worth every penny.

An absolutely fantastic gaming headset – and a battery life champion
UPDATE: I’ve had these headphones for about 3 months now, and would like to clarify a few things. I initially thought this microphone was an improvement over the wired version, however, I can now confidently say that this microphone is slightly worse. It’s not amazing, and it’s a bit more static-y than the wired version’s mic. It’s definitely not bad, though, and I have heard so so much worse. Also, after using these headphones for (on average) a few hours every day at 60% volume, the battery life has definitely held up. I end up charging them once they get to about 30% or lower, which usually takes 2-3 weeks. I’d say that’s pretty damn good. Before this headset, I was using a HyperX Cloud II Wired, but I decided I wanted to go wireless, but definitely stay in the HyperX family. All I can say is this headset is a very worthwhile upgrade over the Cloud II, or even if you’re not upgrading from anything. It is without a doubt the best headset I have ever owned and I definitely won’t be changing headsets any time soon.Comfort:I initially fell in love with the way the Cloud II fit on my head, and this headset only improves upon that. I never considered the Cloud II uncomfortable even after 10+ hours of consecutive use, yet the Cloud Alpha somehow improved upon it. It has a much softer headband and the included ear cups are probably the best I’ve ever used on a headset. I even tried to upgrade to some Wicked Cushions (which are available on amazon and they have great reviews) but they were honestly a downgrade, they were stiffer and more angular, which lead to a less comfortable experience. Add to that the fact that this headset is fairly light (i didn’t weigh it but it definitely isn’t heavy.Sound Quality:I’m no audiophile, and these definitely aren’t studio-level headphones, but I’d say the sound quality is quite good. You’re going to experience the typical gaming headset sound profile of slightly exaggerated bass, but that should be expected as that is typically favorable in games, and also sounds pretty good when listening to music (depending on what you listen to, of course.) I’d say the audio quality is about as good as the wired Cloud II, if a little better, and that’s to say, quite good for a gaming headset.Microphone:The microphone is also a slight improvement over the Cloud II, which was already great in my opinion, though this may vary unit to unit because some people complain about poor microphone quality. Also, there is a red LED mic mute indicator which is always welcome and a nice improvement over the Cloud II. Additionally, within the HyperX NGENUITY software there is an option to enable “Mic Monitoring” which basically allows you to hear yourself when you talk (there is practically zero noticeable delay). This likely drains battery life but I will definitely be keeping it on because I love it as a feature and haven’t had a single headset that actually has this feature since I had a pair of Turtle Beach Recon 50’s many years ago. Not everyone will like this feature but I am personally a big fan.Battery Life:The advertised “300 hour” battery life may or may not be true, I wouldn’t know considering I haven’t needed to charge the headset since I got it. In all seriousness, it is very good, and there is a battery percentage readout in the HyperX NGENUITY software that also says the hours of charge left. I haven’t timed it but I’d wager the actual battery life (depending on what audio level you use, if you use spatial audio, etc.) is around 200-250 hours which is incredible.Build Quality:There’s not much to say here, the build quality is pretty good. It’s a mix of a soft-touch plastic and metal (probably aluminum) and feels pretty nice.Overall, I would highly recommend this headset if you’re in the market for a nice wireless gaming headset.

Exceeded all expectations
I spend all my time on my computer. Be it working from home or gaming/watching streams, it’s where I live. I’ve always used wired headphones, and without fail, they all fail or get broken in some way. That, and the chords seem to always be in the way. Then I bought these headphones.I was hesitant at first, I feared that the headphones would always die out of nowhere, when I most needed them. I looked at the advertised battery life and I absolutely did not believe it. I was just skeptical about wireless headphones in general. I was in for surprise.I’ve had these headphones now for 10 months, and I can honestly say I will never go back to wired headphones.Pros:- The battery life is amazing. Like I said, I’m on my computer all the time, and I’ve gone months without charging. This is the big selling point for me. You don’t need to constantly worry about having enough charge in your headphones.- Build quality. A lot of headphones I’ve had in the past (I don’t buy cheap either) seem to break where the headband and the earpiece meet. This is because they use cheap plastic. This product uses metal, and has with stood my rough abuse. The soft part that goes around the ears is also comfortable, and never has cause irritation after hours of wear at a time. It has also survived several kidnappings by my toddler who likes to throw, slam, and bend everything he can get his hands on.- Detachable Mic. I detach/Attach my mic multiple times a day, and it just keeps working every time. Sound quality is good.Cons:- Inaccurate battery readouts. You can tap the power button and a voice will tell you what percentage of battery remains. I’ve only heard two unique readouts: 100% and 80%. Its just not accurate. Even weeks after a charge, it will try and say that 100% of charge remains. This feature is just a gimmick and CANNOT be trusted.- Volume knob. The volume knob is bad. It takes several turns to notice any adjustments in volume.- Range. Range is only about 20-30 ft it seems.Great product, will buy from HyperX in the future.EDIT 1/15/24: HyperX has a firmware update that fixes the inaccurate battery read out.

These headphones have amazing battery life. I use my headset for an average of 2 to 4 hours each evening, and I haven’t charged them since I opened the box 7 weeks ago. The sound quality was quite underwhelming, even compared to my Corsair HS70 Pro headset that I was replacing. However, with some tweaks in windows and the EQ in the HyperX software they sound good for a set of wireless headphones in this price range. I also appreciate the physical volume wheel, and the fact that the mic is removable (I use a desktop mic instead, so being able to remove the mic on the headset and never use it is a benefit.)My complaints are few. One issue I’ve had is how tightly it clamps to my head. The ear cups put quite a bit of pressure on the jaw joint just below my ears unless I get them to sit JUST right. But they do stay firmly on my head, and if they’re sitting correctly they are quite comfortable. The other thing I’ve noticed is that, unlike the Corsair set I’m replacing, my PC isn’t able to register when I’ve disconnected my headset, so my audio output doesn’t automatically change to my desktop speakers. Both are relatively small gripes, but they’re worth noting imo.Overall, this is a good headset and a good purchase if price, battery life, and reasonable sound are important to you.

Woaaaw!
