I was given the opportunity to use and evaluate the HP OfficeJet Pro 8135e printer, and I am impressed with the functionality of this printer. This thing prints fast, around 20 pages per minute for black and white and only slightly slower for color. Lightweight, Sleek, Efficient is the OfficeJet Pro 8135e
The first thing I noticed was how light the box was the printer was in. It was such a different experience than with my previous HP printer because that was large and bulky and the HP OfficeJet Pro 8135e was light and sleek.The printer was very well secured in its packaging but was easy to slide out. Written instructions were provided and a quite lacking in explaining the set up process but provided a link that had comprehensive set up instructions.The ink cartridges did not have written instructions and instead had picture instructions which made the process a bit more confusing. The tabs on the ends of the cartridges were supposed to be removed and discarded but there was no written directions which made the installation a bit more complicated and time consuming than needed to be.The software installation did not go smoothly and took about hour to get dialed in. Once the software was downloaded, the printer automatically calibrated itself. The paper tray is not deep but accommodates plenty of paper.Colors did not bleed when it printed and even after it dried.I’m still trying to figure out how to sync this printer to my eBay so I can print shipping labels through the eBay app. Right now, I’m having to use the HP Smart app to print those shipping labels since it’s not syncing up to eBay.I’m pleased with my HP OfficeJet Pro 8135e.

I recently purchased the HP OfficeJet Pro 8135e, and I believe this would be the perfect choice for anyone who needs a new printer for their home office. This has been my experience:Print Quality: Every document and photo comes out clear and vibrant. The range of printing quality for professional documents and for personal printing jobs such as photos has me impressed.Speed: Even larger print jobs were completed quickly, which is a huge time-saver. This printer boosts up to 20 pages per minute in black ink and up to 10 pages per minute in color. Another aspect that impressed me was how silent this printer was while printing multiple documents.Set-up: This was a breeze. I followed directions straight from my phone and it was set up within about 10 minutes of my time. The step by step walk through was very easy to follow, even for the non tech savvy.Reliability: This printer has handled every printing job I’ve thrown at it with consistent performance – no jams, no errors. While I have only used this printer briefly, my last printer was hp, and these printers have proved to be reliable long term for me.Color Accuracy: The color accuracy is true to life, and the details are sharp which making photo printing a delight. I am able to avoid the hassle to avoid taking extra trips to a print shop for similar quality documents.Features: The duplex printing feature stands out, allowing for easy and efficient double sided printing. Something to be aware of is there are other options if you want a smaller printer. I’ve posted pictures for comparison. However with all the features you would want or need in a home office printer, I was expecting a much larger device.

Really good printer, high quality printing and cool feature that you can print from anywhere.Reading other reviews the main complaint seems to be issues with initial set up. I had no such issues at all and found it very very straightforward to set up and I am not good with technology at all.

Easy set-up, and a great printer that delivers the quality I was expecting. I had my previous HP printer for 5 years and this is the next generation of what I had before. Great for home office use, remote printing from anywhere in my home or when I am away. Was easy to change my HP Instant Ink account to the new printer.

J’ai acheté une HP 8130e et à chaque fois qu’elle tombe en veille, elle gèle. Je dois la débrancher et la rebrancher à chaque fois que je veux imprimer. J’ai appelé HP et ils m’ont dit de l’échanger car mon achat datait de moins de 30 jours.J’ai fais un retour et repris une autre HP 8130e. J’ai inséré les cartouches et le papier et voilà qu’elle “vérifie le papier” depuis 30 minutes! Je n’ai même pas encore commencer la configuration de l’imprimante.Très déçu de HP. Je vais me faire rembourser cette fois et pour moi, HP c’est terminé! (Et je suis un ancien technicien certifié HP).

Everything about this printer/scanner is great but I was surprised to learn that it does not have dual side scanning. It’s the newer version of what I had previously that did. The Amazon site isn’t clear about that. Other than that, it’s great. Check the HP site for the real full details. HP Instant Ink is a great and simple service. You get 3 months free.
