Fantastic if you have hearing aids and still have difficulty in hearing your TV without causing everyone in the house getting mad at you for having your TV on so loudly. I connect the thing to my TV following the directions that come with it. Then I keep the provided cord attached to a hub next to my computer, just for convenience so than when I am finished with the TV, I can just connect the “neck collar” to the cord and let it charge each night. The neck collar is lightweight and fits nicely around my neck. I forget that I have it on and have worn it out to the grocery store. It is that easy to “wear.” There are very small buttons on the neck collar that allow you to lower or raise the sound on the TV. There is one button on the neck collar that you use to be “on” with your TV sound. The TV sound can come totally thru the neck collar to a sound level you can understand (good clarity) but your actual TV sound to anyone else in the room can be very soft, not being heard all over the house. Now, I can watch and listen to my TV while I work on my computer or I can listen while I read in the recliner. And . . . when you walk away from your TV area several rooms away, you can still hear the TV in your ears (like while you are washing the dishes). You don’t miss anything being said while you are away from the TV room. It sure beats just looking at the text on the TV as the text is often wrong or “behind” what is actually being said and some programs you want to see do not have the text possibility. I love this thing.

I frequently stay up late and watch tv after everyone has gone to bed. I was getting lots of complaints about the tv being too loud as everyone tried to sleep. Turning the volume down made it difficult for me to hear the sound. I started searching Amazon for a solution , and I found this product. And boy am I happy I went with this! It has solved my problem! I connected my Samsung tv directly to this speaker via Bluetooth. I didn’t even need to use the included transmitter! My tv found the speakers immediately and connected with absolutely no problems. Within about 3 minutes they were working!I find the sound quality absolutely excellent for speakers at this price point. Nice, clear sound! Slide these around your neck and you’ll be amazed at the stereo sound. They have just the right amount of bass and treble. The build quality feels solid, and the battery life has been just as advertised. It would be hard for me to believe that a name brand speaker could sound any better than these! I even used these while they were plugged in using the USB-C cord and they work just as well this way!The speakers aim the sound up at each of your ears. Yes, people in the room would probably be able to hear a little bit of sound, but not enough to keep someone awake if they’re sleeping on the couch next to you. You won’t need to blast the volume to hear these speakers because you’re wearing these around your neck, just a few inches below your ears. They are very well designed!I really and truly LOVE this speaker! I will be using these nightly. These would be great for anyone who wants to listen to the television (or any Bluetooth device) without disturbing others. And I can absolutely see how these would be great for those with hearing difficulties. This was a great purchase for me, and I just had to share my thoughts with you! Thanks for reading!

Game Changer
This has been such a game changer when it comes to watching tv. The only issue I have is the sound quality is different when watching cable tv vs Netflix or Prime videos. Quality is poor on cable tv and great on prime

*****Update….I have been using this for a few days now while walking on my treadmill and it is fantastic. I have this located on a TV on the lower level of our home and I went to the upper level and as far from the TV that I could, and it still picked up the sound from the TV. Very happy with this product**** I had asked if this device cancels the TV’s internal speakers and got various answers, so I decided to purchase it to find out for myself. This product DOES NOT cancel your TV speakers as long as you have the TV set to the proper setting. The TV must be set to use internal speakers and Bluetooth. I just received this today and hooked it up and it seems to be working great and as expected from the description. I wanted a Bluetooth speaker to use when walking on my treadmill instead of having to turn the TV volume up to loud for the rest of the people in the house but not cancel out the TV speakers so the others couldn’t hear it. Upon testing this it works!

Neatest thing ever.
I got this for my mother because she complains that the neighbors are too noisy and is hard to hear her tv sometimes. After buying this, she only uses this to watch TV from now on.It helps block the noise outside for her to hear the audio of the TV.Easy to setup and pairing of the device. This speaker is awesome because you wear it around your neck and can still watch videos on your phone while listening to the TV. Also, you can keep the volume on the TV turned up so others in the room can hear it while you control the separate volume on your neck speaker – it’s great for those hard of hearing. If you have a newer TV, it’s very easy to hook up with the audio output slot. If you have an older TV without one it could be more challenging and maybe that’s why it says the product is frequently returned. I love love love this product and would definitely buy again (have bought two already). .

Love this item! I have a large room with a sound bar and sound surround that require a great amount of sound to fill the room well enough to hear. Four times where I want to watch TV without the whole house hearing, I simply use these. They connect very easily with the transmitter that is included. Seriously love this product! Sound is good quality and very easy to use.

Initially, I ordered the neckband speaker on its own and when it arrived, I realized that I needed the version that came with the transmitter. It was a simple matter of logging back onto Amazon to arrange for a return of the item I received and ordering the version I needed and it arrived the next day.The transmitter included all the cables needed for whatever connection I might choose to use for it. After reading the manual, I decided to use the optical (Toslink) connection because it offers the clearest sound. I charged the neckband speaker first, which didn’t take long, then connected the transmitter to the back of my Amazon fire TV with the USB cable for power. When I used the optical cable to connect it to the TV and turned the transmitter and neckband speaker on, they paired instantly and I heard a female voice say “connected.” I was surprised by how easy that was. However, when I tried watching Prime, I heard, “PCM error.” It took a while for me to find the right setting in the television’s settings menu to fix the problem, but I finally did and got it working right again.The sound is fairly clear and I’m quite satisfied with it. I’m almost 61 and I’ve found that my hearing is starting to weaken. I was born with a unilateral hearing impairment (no hearing in my left ear due to nerve damage, which cannot be fixed) and lately, I’ve started turning the volume up and using captions. I decided that I needed to get something wireless to help with this because I’m a renter and I worry about disturbing the neighbours. I’m not a big fan of headphones or ear phones because I can’t hear other things around me while wearing those. This is a very good solution because it only provides sound in the immediate area and can’t be heard by anyone in the next rental unit. I can keep the volume low on the TV’s speakers and use this instead. To me, it sounds as though I’m listening to the television as I normally would, but I can hear it so much better without having to crank up the volume and worry that someone might complain. And if anyone sends me a text message or knocks on the door, I can hear them.
