Small gaming
Ok I have played games since the first video game came to the arcades so I know my games well. This one I have to say is up there. Some of the games are repeated and are mostly for children but there are a few of our games there as well such as Mario( the original) and super Mario games as well as elevator action, donkey Kong and d k jr. All in all a great buy at 29.00!

I bought this as a present for my 6-year-old, and we found that the functionality is there. It does come with some pretty odd cords, but those were marked before in the description and pictures so I don’t feel like that’s a markdown. Just know if you’re hoping to connect this to your TV, you’ll want an HDMI adapter for the interesting cords. That being said, we weren’t really expecting that to happen, and our son has been playing with it for a couple days now.The size is perfect for him (& hubby), the quality is decent, the color is as expected. All things considered he’s finding it very fun to play on, and it’s holding up nicely!I’ve seen some previous reviews where they were upset because games were repeated, that hasn’t been an issue for us, so we’ve been just fine.We’re excited to try the dual play!

Nice for Nostalgia and Small Hands
If you grew up on Galaga, Joust, Mario Brothers, etc., you’re gonna have some fun with this emulator game system.Ok, first, let’s talk about the hardware. Everything is light and feels plasticky. Normally, that would be a bad thing. But if you grew up on Nintendo and other systems, you’ll agree all of that felt plasticky as well. So I can’t really hold too much against them for that. But yes, it does feel a little on the cheap side. You can tell these are generic controllers as they have various spaces for other buttons etc but they are not being used. That’s all fine and good, but just mentioning it.Comes charged – very happy about that.Controllers – some of the games are a little awkward but remember that this system emulates different platforms, so again can’t really fault them for that. However, the controller does get a little confusing sometime and is really limited. Comes with two controllers – the main one with the screen and a second player one that plugs into the main one. As of now, I haven’t been able to find a game that uses the second so I’m not sure if the second works or not. I’ve plugged it in but nothing happens. I’m suspecting this is just because you have to be playing a game that’ll use it. No idea. Perhaps it just doesn’t work. Again, no idea.I’ve been having fun playing the games. Exactly like the original… though it does seem like the color is off on a couple of the games. No big deal for this price range gaming system but it’s still a little turn off.You will love this if you grew up in the 80s and 90s… but honestly, you might get bored with it if you spend much time with it. Either that or your hands and eyes will be too tired.Overall, I’m giving this 3 out of 5. I wish the controller was a little larger… your fingers will get cramped after a while of gameplay (unless you have small hands – this is great for kids). I can’t confirm yet if the second controller… so far, I haven’t been able to use it. I’m happy with this but I would really like it better if it was a little bigger and if the buttons and feel was more similar to the systems it’s emulating.PS – Sorry, I had an unboxing video but something is wrong with it. If I can figure out the problem, I’ll upload it.

A lot of fun with it
I almost played with it every day since I got it. It has 500 classic games, most of which are my favorite childhood arcade games. The simple game setup takes me back in time, to my youthful days in the arcade. It comes with two controllers, which is perfect for me and my son to play together. The buttons are intuitive and responsive. On weekends, it has become a wonderful time for me and my son to interact. Usually, I connect the console to the TV via the AV cable. It loads the games quickly and without much delay. The only minor drawback is that video quality on big TV may not be as good as high definition as HDMI via AV port, but it is still acceptable to me. It works well for over a few weeks and brings me a lot of fun.

AWFUL
This game is horrible. Bought 2 and the charging port on both broke. 1 after the 1st charge. And the other unit after the 2nd charge. Very cheap plastic.

Unfortunately I can NOT recommend
I was very disappointed with this handheld gaming device. I didnt expect it to be on par with far more expensive or well known brands that have similar devices, but I did expect for it to work longer than 3 days before the screen went haywire with lines and became unusable! The games that we were able to play were indeed quite fun, although accessing the various games and figuring out how to navigate thru it was too difficult. It didnt come with any instructions which was very disappointing, too. The sound was fairly shoddy and I can hear fuzz each time it made noises as if the speakers were old and getting ready to blow. While I appreciate that it is very lightweight, I also have my doubts on its ability to physically last longterm. The material was thin and hollowlike, and I could easily see it being dropped on the floor and cracking open. Unfortunately as I said, we never got to even test that out because on the third night my granddaughter was playing it over the holidays, the screen went crazy and nothing we did has fixed it! We have repeatedly tried for the last couple of weeks, even bringing in the big gamer guns of my husband and son who are very technologically and mechanically inclined… but alas, they were unable to fix it either. I can not recommend that anyone purchase this item because of that reason. For the price, there are much better, sturdier, well manufactured, quality offbrand gaming devices out there!
