An astounding upgrade
Coming from an older Lenovo productivity monitor at 1440p to this has been amazing. I did not expect the clarity in every day tasks to be so obvious, but the 4k resolution is perfection. The pixel density is insane, and though I’d probably consider a 32″ mounted to an arm for my next upgrade, this 27″ fits on my desk nicely ATM.No dead pixels, and the IPS bleed was quite good. The OSD is good, and offers most of the settings you’d expect at this level. I’m running it at 120Hz and using Picture Quality in the settings, and it looks great.Overall, I’m very pleased at what we can obtain from a monitor these days given the low entry price of less than 500 USD.

Great picture
Great monitor for ps5. Works and it’s been a year so far.

Buy this, you won’t regret it.
I bought 3 different monitors before landing on this one. This is a good monitor, so I bought another! I prefer 27″ to 32″ for image sharpness. I also discovered that LG monitors are using RwBG which does not display text clearly. This monitor is good for office work and gaming. My only regret is that I didn’t buy a 3’rd one!

It worked great until it didn’t
I’ve taken great care of this monitor it still looks brand new. But for some reason it stopped powering on. I plugged it into every outlet in my house to check it. Nothing seems to work an I found from other reviews that it’s nothing new. I’ve only had it for a year and for the price a year is not worth it.

KVM-Equipped 4K Monitor: Cable Management Dream at a Bargain Price
After years with my trusty LG 27UD68 (27″, 4K60, IPS) since around 2018, I decided it was time for an upgrade. The old monitor had served me well, but years of use had left it with noticeable burn-in effects, with icons taking minutes to disappear from the taskbar area or desktop when entering full-screen applications. As a casual gamer primarily playing League of Legends and Roblox with my children, I was curious about the 144Hz refresh rate. While frame rate overlays confirm 144fps in Roblox (set in graphics settings), I personally struggle to perceive a significant difference across these games. More serious gamers may appreciate this feature more, but I wanted to offer my perspective as an older, casual user. The built-in KVM is undoubtedly the highlight of this monitor. It has streamlined my setup considerably, eliminating the need for a separate KVM switch and additional HDMI cables. The attached picture in the review showcases the dramatic cable reduction achieved by using the built-in KVM, a clear visual representation of the improved cable management. Now, a single USB-C connection to my MacBook Pro enables 4K144 display, keyboard/mouse control, and access to my external USB mic and webcam. I can effortlessly switch between devices:PC: For general use and gamingMacBook Pro: For work meetings, utilizing the camera and micSamsung S23 Ultra: For DeX mode, with phone charging and full desktop functionalitySwitching between devices is as simple as pressing the KVM button on the back of the monitor. While the monitor excels in many areas, it’s not without flaws:USB-C output is limited to 15W PD, insufficient for charging a MacBook under heavy use. Workaround: Use the Mac’s charger for heavy use, or accept slower charging during idle times.HDR performance is subpar, with odd color tinting and low contrast. Workaround: Use the HDR calibration tool available in the Microsoft Store to improve performance slightly.Local dimming is limited to about 8 vertical zones, sometimes causing visible striping effects as bright objects pass across the screen.Despite these issues, at the current price of $330, this monitor offers exceptional value. The KVM feature alone justifies the purchase for users with multiple devices, though its utility may diminish in multi-monitor setups. Personally, I prefer a single monitor setup at home due to space constraints. While not perfect, this monitor represents a significant upgrade from my previous setup. The combination of 4K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and the invaluable KVM feature make it a compelling choice, especially at its current price point. For users juggling multiple devices or seeking a versatile display solution, this monitor is well worth considering. The drawbacks, while notable, are manageable given the monitor’s strengths and competitive pricing.

Performs as Expected
Coming from a WQHD 2k HDR MSi monitor, this 4k HDR Gigabyte monitor is what i wanted. Visuals at 4k is crisp, easy to adjust and setup, build quality is superb. The only minor nit pick is when HDR is detected, you cant select the picture presets like movie, RTS, sRGB and FPS modes. I higly recommend to give this monitor a try for its 4k HDR visuals. Lastly this monitor works immaculately on consoles.

Great budget 4k
Pros: $330 on sale, 4k 144 refresh rate, Sturdy build quality but not heavy, and relatively small for a 4k monitor (28″).Cons: The included DP cable did not work and hdr isn’t great which is a massive disappointment for me as my main usecases are pc gaming and media consumption.

Not sure if this is a defect or this is how those monitors are. backlight is dim compared to an average monitor (I have three monitors, different manufactureers) it had a yellow/ green warm tint as if night mode was on, tried to calibrate colors to get it as closer to a good monitor as possible but it looked off, washed off picture. for someone who uses it for games and digital painting/ design, this is not a good product.it really looked bad in a triple monitor setup, stood out in a bad way. I am glad they accepted the return, will probably get one from the store, something I can see and test before buying.
