Not your ordinary bean bag chair
Calling this a beanbag chair may be a bit of a disservice as it’s a definite step up from the traditional round formless blob of a traditional bean bag chair. It lacks a bit in rigidity and form of a traditional chair but still has arms and a back formed by pieces of foam in shaped cloth containers.As delivered, the package is a fraction of the final size. The whole chair is highly condensed in a double-layered vacuum sealed bag. Once you get the bag open, it slowly inflates itself to the proper size and shape.The outer shell is a sort of fur-like material that is soft and pleasant to touch. There is a zipper on the bottom of that shell in which you will find bundles of what look almost like zippered pillow cases that are providing the form for chunks of foam inside.My daughter had been looking for a bean bag chair for her room and was quite happy when I presented her with this. It’s a bit larger than she had expected but also quite a bit nicer.I have nothing negative to say about it really. Unless, that is, you are looking for a 1970s round true bean bag chair, for this is not that. It’s a defined modernized upgrade from that relic.
